Gabby Agbonlahor and Bryan Ruiz are the unlikely names sitting on top of our ICT Index rankings in a Gameweek which, so far, has failed to live up to its billing. As usual, we guide our members through the key statistics from the weekend action, identifying the trends that are now just as likely to guide the pre-season watchlist as our decisions for the remaining matches this term.

Sturridge, Sturridge, Sturridge?
Facts:
4 clubs in 4 years.
Looked great for Pool against good opposition with Suarez and Coutinho to make him look good.
Looked great against an appalling Newcastle defence when Coutinho made him look good.
Opinion :
Still has an atitude problem. Is lazy compared to Suarez. Suarez is a nutter but a nutter with a great workrate.
Sturridge will prob be a good FF bet for next 2 GW as Pool's opposition aren't great at the back.Open Controls-
He's decision making is really poor at times.
Open Controls-
I agree, but he will get plenty of opportunities and is bound to take some of them.
Open Controls
-
Guaranteed game-time, decent fixtures? What's not to love.
Open Controls -
jury is out on him player wise but fpl wise he's a greedtacular striker now spear-heading a chance-heavy side

“Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly.” - Robert F. Kennedy
Going for an 8 point hit and RVP out to cut a 28 point deficit. Sturridge (c) BRING IT HOME!!!!Open Controls -
Just wondering, has anybody here ever considered the great Henderson from Liverpool at 4.6m? Or 4.7m...
Open Controls-
Not really. Could do well but I would go Coutinho. I am not finding money an issue at this stage of the season.
Open Controls -
no
Open Controls -
Only ever considered him if needed the money elsewhere. Maloney looks like a better bet for the few bob more.
Open Controls -
On the OPTA stats used by Metro, he was the lowest scoring Liverpool player.
It may depend how various games are scored next year I suppose.
Top Pocket Hankie imo.Open Controls

Thinking of building up to two Liverpool attacking players for GW38. Which transfer first?
Michu to Coutinho
or
Defoe to Sturridge.
CheersOpen Controls-
The injured one.
Open Controls-
Fair point. However, I am fairly certain AVB will go with Ade against Stoke and am content to play 4 at the back in GW 37 anyway.
Open Controls-
If your back 4 looks good just bench Michu + Defoe and use the 2 FT's the following week to sell.
Open Controls-
Cheers. I just wouldn't mind some Scouse exposure against a beached Fulham.
Open Controls-
Coutinho or Sturridge could both score well @ Fulham so if you really want one go for it. Logic says Michu out first but either will do and play a back 4 if you don't want to start Defoe.
Open Controls-
That is my plan. I don't know who one to go for... Might go Coutinho as he has got most of his points away from Anfield - this also fits in with the logic of getting rid of Michu.
Open Controls

+1
Open Controls
-
-
Logic says Michu out first, but I've done the second option as I think Maloney coming in against Arsenal isn't too bad.
Open Controls-
Maloney is a decent shout to get something out of the Arsenal game. I have Kone and will be playing him.

What a joke. Utter lack of respect.
Open Controls-
Barton is in no position to comment, admitted earlier during the season money was the only reason he went to QPR.
Open Controls

At least he is honest!
Open Controls-
Perhaps, reality is I don't believe Redknapp even thinks he will be good enough in the Championship.

Can’t work this out myself, so anyone else have ideas?
Team with 0.2 in bank and 1 FT.
Jussi – Bunn
Figuerora – Dawson – Kompany – Baines – Wilson
Bale – Gomez – Silva – Fellaini – Ramires
RVP – Lukkaku – Benteke
What I want to do:
In: I MUST have Phil Jones for the closing weeks and would like some ARSENAL/LIVERPOOL cover.
Out: this is up to you. People who I defo want to keep are GKs, Dawson, Baines, Bale,
THANKS IN ADVANCEOpen Controls -
Good strategy?
GW37
RVP (h) to Swansea, Lukaku @ Norwich, Tevez @ Reading
GW38
RVP + Lukaku > Sturridge + Kone/Carroll
Tevez (h) to Norwich, Sturridge (h) to QPR, Kone/Carroll (h) to Villa/ReadingOpen Controls-
No pick players that are :
1 definite starters at this stage
2 have something to fight for.
3 preferably both of the above.Open Controls

Using the BBC predictor and giving Wigan 3 wins http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/predictor/default.stm They can still finish as high as 9th!
Open Controls-
Can't quite get Swansea relegated, they stay up on goal difference even with big scorelines.
Open Controls -
Unfortunately I see Norwich going down on GD 😥
Open Controls-
-
Fingers crossed.
Open Controls -
Open Controls

Your missus goes down for me 😉
Open Controls

Even after that win Villa are in bad shape with goal difference. If Chelsea knock a few past them that should give them the worst of anyone left down there.
Open Controls

-
43 might not be enough. Too many outcomes that are unlikely.

For next week:
DDG (Bunn)
Sagna Enrique Dawson (Harte Wilson)
Mata Narsri Bale Walcott (Michu)
Lambert Lukaku Tevez
What to do with my transfer?
A Michu > Coutinho,
B lambert > sturridge
C DDG > Someone
D Another change
E Save it
RepostOpen Controls-
not B or E.
Must be michu out and use other keeper
Michu to someone. Someone who has something to play for thoughOpen Controls

Would you rather rid of Van Persie or Aguero for Carroll? Two decent fixtures for the form man.
Note those that say neither, it has to be one of the two to accommodate bringing Walcott back in.Open Controls-
Van Persie

So iv just done the league predictor and i have the following: chelsea and tottenham in the top 4 and norwich to go down on goal difference, wigan surviving by a point!
Open Controls -
I had doubts about taking a hit to do Harte>Scharner and benching Baines in the process. Now I only need 12 points tomorrow from Scharner to break even *bangs head against table*
Open Controls -
Any love for Papiss Cisse around here?
Open Controls-
yeah, it's more 1 game only though, sturridge for example seems more of a 2 game prospect

michu + rooney > gerrard + benteke/kone/aguero?
Open Controls -
If I get rid of Michu this GW, is there anyone (9.5m or under) worth playing ahead of:
Mata (avl), Bale (stk), Fellaini (WHU), Walcott (WIG)
RVP (SWA), Tevez (rdg), Lukaku (nor)?
CheersOpen Controls -
Now we know why Aguero blanked this week. He was trying out the EvoSpeed Camo boots from Puma.

Getting rid of Michu. Who's the best replacement for under £8.3m? Am thinking Coutinho, possibly Nasri.
Open Controls-
Nolan
Open Controls-
Only 1 goal in 12 games, I don't think so.
Open Controls-
He scored 3 games ago...it's the business end of the season. He will get another before the season ends.
Or are you just one of those players that waits for a player to score a hattrick and then gets him in after hoping he does the same again the following week?Open Controls-
No, I look for players who are showing some kind of form, not just wild stabs in the dark like Kevin 'first half of the season wonder' Nolan.
Open Controls

-

Coutinho, if only for guaranteed gametime.
Open Controls -
Kagawa is in my thinking. Oscar even.
Coutinho seems the favourite pick in here though.Open Controls-
Will consider Kagawa, although I'm not sure he's guarenteed to play. Think Chelsea will continue to field Mata and/or Hazard so Oscar won't really be up there with the points.
Love the avatar by the way.Open Controls

want to throw nani or kagawa into the mix but probably wont be worth the nervous waits for the team sheets.
with regards to nasri man city could be playing for absolutely nothing if they beat west brom and tottenham get at least a draw from chelsea, could make him a big risk too.
coutinho seems the safest bet starts wise.Open Controls

Nasri

can only have 2 of these 3 for next GW: Tevez (rdg), Lukaku (nor), Sturridge (ful)
Who drops out?!

Quick Poll
A. Michu/Defoe -> Coutinho/Sturridge [-4PTS]
B. Michu -> Coutinho
C. Defoe -> Sturridge (play Maloney, bench Michu)Open Controls-
Don't get too carried away with Liverpool players, one is enough.
I would do B.
Michu -> Coutinho or Nolan.Open Controls -
Very similar dilemma. I think I am going to do a). Michu is out for the season and Coutinho has excellent away stats. I then plan to do c) the following week to have both or the QPR game at Anfield.
Open Controls-
*b) not a) 😆

why do the H2H leagues only play 36 games. there are 20 teams - play each team twice = 38 games. 38 games in season so why only 36?
