This week’s ScoutCast episode reminds us that there really is life outside of Fantasy Football.

Like the pursuit of the “most consecutive hours spent in one building” for instance, or perhaps the “most impressive eating feat”. Both are key events, alongside Fantasy Premier League ranking, in an annual set of “Bloke Olympics” revealed courtesy of this week’s rather different “Full Jonty”. Our friend in the community brings an extraordinary tale of a top Fantasy manager who runs his life like an achievement list – not to be missed.

    Trying to come to a conclusion here, should I play sensible, punt or take a punt in a sensible sort of way 🙂

    A - Sensible approach. Play Kone, bench Defoe.

    B - Punt. Defoe -> Hernandez, 4 pt hit. Bench Kone

    C - Punt in a sensible sort of way. Defoe -> Sturridge, 4 pt hit. Bench Kone

      Basically, you need the guy you're bringing in to score one and Kone not to score just to break even, and I'm not sold enough on Hernandez (may not even play) or Sturridge (blows hot and cold).

      So I'd hazard a guess he'll start in that, but then won't play against Reading on Tuesday. I'm in two minds as to what to do with him. I think I'll probably stick with him.

      I have him away to my Gooners this week and his goal involvement has been lower than I'd hoped, plus Arsenal tend to stifle smaller teams.

          I considered getting Hart in for DDG for a (-4), ended up opting against it due to lack of upside (max you could gain was ~12-4-2 = 6). Course, DDG ended up not playing and City DID keep the two clean sheets...

    Definitely looking at selling Tevez, Mata looks dodgy to me due to bench risk for Europa final, Kone is not dominating the goals at Wigan and they're in bad shape, and unsure about Lukaku's prospects at Norwich and against United.
