The Sun Dream Team is now open for registration and Fantasy Football Scout are delighted to announce an official league, with The Sun offering a huge £1,000 prize to our winner.

Having had a few weeks to tinker with your starting XI, the serious business starts here. You can register your saved team, put together further lineups and create and enter leagues for the new season.

Select a free team and you can compete for £80,000 in prize money, but if you back yourself by opting for a Premium Package (two teams for £10 or six teams for £25), you’ll have more chances to win and be in the mix to win the full £500,000, whilst also earning the right to compete for the monthly game prizes, which make up £80,000 of the overall prize pot.

Joining and Creating Leagues

You can join or create up to ten leagues with any of your teams and set up your own leagues as you wish. The Sun Dream Team game offers real incentive to get involved – there’s a new Chairman’s prize pool of £10,000 available for those who manage to recruit ten or more managers to their league.

If you’re looking to join an ready-made league, you can challenge the likes of Ian Wright and Terry Venables with Dream Team allowing you to take on an array of celebrity managers.

The Scout League

You should also enroll in the official Fantasy Football Scout League, with Dream Team very kindly offering a £1,000 prize pot to the winner.

Once you register and create your team or teams, simply use the following PIN and password to enter.

League Name: Fantasy Football Scout
Password: ReWOZhn1T1
PIN: 8061654

You’ll find these details on the middle column of the homepage from this point on.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I don't think Ivanovic is even close to nailed on.

Zabaleta would seem fairly nailed on I would reckon and if Lescott isn't whilst Nasty is injured then he needs a new club!

      SIlva will frustrate you. He'll:

      A) get injured in the warm up
      B) play fantastically but not be involved in any goals or assists and get 2pts despite being the clear MOM.
      C) get rested to accomodate the ever expanding Man City midfield.

      Get Coutinho in.

Same here. I kept him for about 8 weeks and it was so frustrating to watch. Every assist he did make would involve beating about 4 players, and then gifting someone a goal. In comparison you could get the same number of points for a Hazard assist, which often involved a 5 yard pass to Luiz (35 yards out) who would then smash the ball into the top corner. Absolute injustice.

He still has to be one of the top 3 players from the 28 who take the field. Across a season I predict he'll have a more rounded chance of BPS, but week to week I would be surprised if it makes much difference.

          Walcott 0.085
          Cazorla 0.062

It's genuinely like talking to @usasoccerguy. "ManU fans" "a pass" he was injured for a lot of last season. His favoured position is in the hole behind the striker- that's where Rooney plays. With Rooney likely to be on the way out, it looks like he'll have a big season. Why in God's name are you on about Berbatov.. We have RvP. Berbatov is good for Fulham

You're not going to get me to lie and say Kagawa is a good player. I didn't see him a Dortmund , and he was an average player when he was health last season. Only 'highlights 'I remember him doing was a late hat-trick and somehow missing an empty goal from 5 yards out,

It's preseason now, he' must be hurt, because he's still playing like shite. I hope he improves this year.

He looked so uncomfortable any time he was deployed on the left wing last season, and that's where he played for most games he started. It's clear that he should be played in the hole and it's looking likely that he'll get the opportunity

2 chelsea defences in the dgw last season were:

    pre-dgw
sun 12th august community shield: ivanovic, luiz, terry, cole (defs on the bench: cahill, bertrand)

    the dgw
sun 19th august v wigan: ivanovic, luiz, terry, cole (defs on the bench: cahill, ferreira) (bertrand was starting in midfield)
wed 22nd august v reading: ivanovic, cahill, terry, cole (defs on the bench: just bertrand)

    post dgw
sat 25th august v newcastle: ivanovic, cahill, luiz, cole (defs on the bench: no one) (bertrand was starting in midfield)
fri 31st august v atletico madrid: ivanovic, cahill, luiz, cole (defs on the bench: just bertrand)

    what has changed this season:

    new manager
    azpilicueta has signed
no community shield clue to the first choice defence
fixture dates are exactly the same barring man utd in gw2 (the newcastle equivalent of last season is on monday rather than saturday)
a trade off: luiz became more established through-out last season, but luiz is the least fit of the defence as it stands

    Mign (Marshall)
    Cole, Coleman, Riether (Brayford, Parr)
Hazard (C), Silva, Lallana, Wilshere, Mirallas
    RVP, Anelka, (Dzeko?)

    a) A £4.5m keeper who starts and a £7.5m striker
    b) A bench £4.0m keeper & an £8.0m striker

B for me, although admittedly it's close. I prefer not to have a dilemma with keepers, as I invariably choose the wrong one. And an extra 0.5 for your front 8 is always handy. Others may disagree, however.

I will after DGW, doing Cole - Baines and then he can sit there all season. Keeping 1.0 to finance it. He's basically a midfielder on pens for 7.5 and the possibility of CS's. Never misses a game

Thank you very much! Wanna try figure out who is more likely to be first choice as 4.5 would be a bargain price.

How do people rate Gerrard this season? I've seen people thinking he will be deeper, but wasn't he in the hole most of last season? Im really keen on him atm.

Also wanting Torres + Mata, am i mad? I think i am. But i like it

He'll score points wherever he is. Too pricey for me though.

Torres has the potential to do well under Mourinho (especially given his comments on him the other day) but I wouldn't bother.

Potential is nice. Pretty sure im going for Mata, still not sure about Torres/Lukaku, its only for the double GW anyways.

No, he was deep most of last season and was deep again on Saturday. He does have penalties to fall back on but I would probably rather Coutinho or Sturridge.

he was deep the majority of last season, the latter half especially when joe allen got the chop and was injured.

the reason i prefer coutinho to gerrard for example is if liverpool go 10 matches without a penalty which is very possible gerrard's value drops dramatically, whilst coutinho is more balanced and arguably predictable as a result

Good point, just fearing coutinho's 2nd season won't be as amazing as everyone thinks.. but im already taking a few risks, so may play safe on coutinho over gerrard.

He will play in the double pivot role mostly. He will get some game time in the hole but that will most likely be against the strongest opposition and away when his points are limited. Once Coutinho came in he moved further back and back and our attempted marquee signings so far are all attacking/hole players. He will still get good points but Coutinho all the way for me if you aren't getting Sturridge or if you want to double up on Liverpool attackers.

That's easy for me, Nolan by far. Rate him really high this year, at least the first few GWs

Nolan and then BArfa for me but not sure about the latter due to potential formation change with Remy in and maybe even Gomis.

I personally like Barfa, but Chadli could be an interesting pick if Bale leaves
