Here's a man we've not mentioned yet this afternoon - Arsenal misfit Nicklas Bendtner. He spent last season on loan with Juventus but may be off to slightly less glamorous surroundings this year.

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish has just told Sky Sports News that the Eagles are hopeful of luring the big Dane.

He said: "We're waiting to hear. I think it all depends on whether Arsenal get someone in or not. We've got contingencies in place, but hopefully we can get it done."

  Yes, but look who was on the end of many of his passes. Benzema, CR7 etc etc. ALso, Real Madrid dominated most of the other Spanish teams in a way that Arsenal are highly unlikely to do to EPL teams.
