As always, we cast our eye over the statistics across the previous round of matches to highlight some of the stand-out performers. Chelsea’s change of formation bodes well for their midfield veteran, United’s former Toffee provides chances aplenty, Villa’s misfiring frontman still has reason for optimism, while Liverpool’s young full-back delivers a tenacious display in the Merseyside derby:

that advert on the FPL login page is so annoying!!
in other news....surely Vidic must go?Open Controls-
Aye mate with the hectic xmas period can see uniteds def changing every week.
Open Controls -
If no other concerns then yes, but I reckon he will play vs Spurs.
Open Controls-
but will he keep a clean sheet even if he does... then I reckon everton will score against them.... decent cheap options in Ward and Flanagan.
Open Controls-
I agree, CS chances aren't strong. Unfortunately I've got other fish in my squad that need frying, but if you haven't then Vidic out isn't a bad move.

Yes he must go. Think I'll give GJ a crackOpen Controls

Thinking of playing a 4-3-3 this week with Gabbidon and Coleman to start, and Lallana and Whittingham to be Benched....good or bad?
Open Controls-
I would play Whittingham, maybe over Gabbidon - Cardiff could test Arsenal at set pieces.

Who are the biggest concerns in terms of rotation over the next 3 GW's in 7 days?
Open Controls-
Any Chelsea midfielder or Man City defender, I'd say. As usual.
Open Controls-
-
Sometimes players like Hazard are a risk worth taking, but you have to take the rough with the smooth with them. Problem is they are rarely completely rested so a good chance for a 1 pt cameo - but a plus point is they both still have a tendency to score ok even when coming on as sub. If you can live with the team sheet uncertainty then there really isn't a lot wrong with owning them.

Why has Van Perise's price been protected all season? Only dropped .1
Open Controls-
Combination of high ownership and well/badly (depending on your viewpoint) timed injury flags being turned on and off

If Snodgrass and Pilkington are out for several weeks, what do you think this is worth? 2-4 weeks? Cause Redmond @ 4.6 million is a bargain.
Open Controls-
Redmond crossed my mind.. if more news leaks out the next few days and they are out till january he's my Brady replacement. Value!!

Is Collins nailed on for West Ham, though? After he came back they've conceded 6 in 2...
Open Controls -
A Mirallas rise and a Barkley drop and i'll be able to afford a switch from Mirallas and Brady to Wally + Barkley 😎
If that does not happen though who would be the ideal 5.3 and below mid to get alongside Ravel?
Whittingham or Amalfitano?Open Controls -
Which move is better for the next few games?
A) Dawson --> Koscielny
B) Wilson --> Collins
Other 3 defenders are: Coleman, Clyne, JohnsonOpen Controls-

Is Sutherns the surname of our boss Mark here?
Open Controls -
Morning folks. I could do with a new long-term defender to start this week.
A) Terry (expensive and only shut out West Ham since ... Forever)
B) McAuley (Newcastle might not be the best start)
C) Jon Flanagan (cheap but Pool's cleanie potential is iffy and he might not even stay in)
D) Play Chester (LIV) or Clyne (che), save a FT and look again next week.Open Controls-
GJ's a more secure Flanagan option. Your back up defenders aren't very inspiring this week - but a saved FT ends up a better strategy if your new defender blanks.
Open Controls-
I'm only considering Flanagan because of the price, I don't believe GJ is worth even his cut down price.
Thanks Pasqualinho, I'll stick and see what shakes out next week.Open Controls-
Can't fault that plan. I'd fancy GJ more than Terry, though should you go ahead with a transfer - next 3 fixtures look lucrative, and he's always an option to ship out on a 2FT week if you need to redistribute funds.

play Clyne, Chelsea blanked again last night and Southampton great season defensively so far

May I ask which of the following poses more attacking threat? I'm upgrading Colback btw. :
a) Januzaj
b) Brady
c) Barkley
d) Amalfitano
e) Arnautovic
f) Kasami
g) ElmohamadyOpen Controls-
Barkley... should be nailed on now and he is class

My transfers have come down to the following this week:
A) Chico + Ozil > Terry + Hazard (-4)
B) Save and make the above transfers next week
Which is the better option?
CheersOpen Controls-
I like A. Wouldnt be suprised to see Ozil rested.
Open Controls-
same situation myself. might end up keeping chico as at least he will play every game and they have easy fixtures.
terry might get rotated somewhere. he played last night too.Open Controls-
It's either Chico or Coleman to make way for Terry. I can see some rotation for Terry, but he seems too good to miss out on even with said threat.

Another week, another patient wait for the Hull city press conference.. Sucks being a brady owner
Open Controls-
The press conferences normally bring good news for Brady owners, but the matches seem to bring 1pt (at best)
Open Controls -
Firmly on my bench this week then out next week I hope
Try being a Brady, Vidic and Shaw owner 👿Open Controls

Hey Kids, got lost in the abyss on the last page...
I'm thinking Ozil / Clyne > Gerrard / GJ until Jan WC.
I have cover (Ramsey and Boruc) for those being shipped and Liverpools next 3 are amazing (hull NOR WHM)
Boruc/Harper
Dawson/ Coleman/ Clyne / Chester / Whitakker
Ozil / Ramsey / yaya / Oscar / Ravel M
Suarez / Aguero / Remy
OR I could get Flanagan for Clyne and not do the Ozil move? What do you think?Open Controls -
Rosenior owners!! Huddle!
Apparently Elmo was horrid at RB and will prob not play there again.. Rosenior back in the team at the weekend. I aint a hull city fan but these guys are...

I heard Ivanovich made a big error last night, any chance of him being dropped for Azpi? I need to loosen up some funds to bring in Hazard
Open Controls-
A nailed on Azpi would be a gift to us all, wouldn't it? But even if he starts a couple, he'd always be the first at risk and you'd always be looking over your shoulder. Too much stress for me
