With Wayne Rooney suspended and Robin Van Persie still a doubt for United’s home game with Newcastle, Paddy Power have delivered yet another tempting offer for new customers. Our bookmaker friends are offering improved odds of 6/1 on Javier Hernandez to score anytime against the Magpies in tomorrow lunchtime’s Old Trafford encounter:

When you consider that the regular odds of the Mexican netting over the 90 minutes are a mere 11/10, it’s pretty obvious this is great deal for those yet to sign up with Paddy. If you don’t have an account and fancy a piece of the action, click here to join up and take advantage of the offer.

To clarify, the Hernandez enhanced odds specials are limited to a £10 stake, open to new Paddy Power customers only and subject to the terms and conditions specified.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

    I think that the Brunt love is equally as misplaced as the Shelvey love if not moreso.

      Shelvey short term with a few nice fixtures and playing up front for Swans priced at 5.4M. hard to argue with that logic. May fail, but again, for the price as a 5th mid, worth the gamble.

    Save FT or get rid of Brady? (1FT, 0.0m)

    Mignolet
    Terry, Burner, Koscielny
    Rambo, Brady*, Hazard, Ozil
    Aguero, Suarez, Lukaku

    4.0; Coleman, Clyne, Rav Mo*

    A) Brady -> Amalfitano/Brunt
    B) Clyne -> Ward
    C) Save

    Been discussed, sorry, but is Aguero now a better bet for captain than Suarez?

    Or is the same situation as before the West Brom game, where we overrate the defence and by definition underrate Suarez?

    Did anyone here see Garth Crooks' team of the week last weekend? His reasoning for including Wayne Rooney is hilarious:

    FORWARD - WAYNE ROONEY (Man Utd)

    I was speaking to my uncle Ben on Saturday and said that Aaron Ramsey was almost certain to be the unanimous choice for footballer of the year. He took the glass of champagne out of my hand and said: 'You mean Wayne Rooney, don't you?' I told him that he had made a very good point and promptly went home.

      Aaron Ramsey may be the most improved, but if the vote was taken now then a better choice than either of those would be Luis Suarez. With over half the season still to go though, it is far too early to be certain who will still be the best come the end the season, let alone whether he will be a unanimous choice.

    Any changes now would be for a hit, is it worth doing anything or just ride it out with hopefully Rooney / Ravel / Clyne back next week.

      That's a pretty weak midfield. Also, 3 Southampton defenders, that's also very ugly with their fixtures and Wanyama out long term. He's been great protecting their back four. Can't imagine Southampton being any good defensively for a while now.

    Generally, is it better to have a centre half or a full back?

      generally centre halves as they tend to have more goal threat and a higher BP chance

      of course there are exceptions

      Generally, it's best to have the one who scores the most points (if you can afford him).

      It depends on the individual players, but full backs tend to get more assists, and central defenders tend to score more goals from set pieces and more bonus points in low-scoring matches.
