With Wayne Rooney suspended and Robin Van Persie still a doubt for United’s home game with Newcastle, Paddy Power have delivered yet another tempting offer for new customers. Our bookmaker friends are offering improved odds of 6/1 on Javier Hernandez to score anytime against the Magpies in tomorrow lunchtime’s Old Trafford encounter:

When you consider that the regular odds of the Mexican netting over the 90 minutes are a mere 11/10, it’s pretty obvious this is great deal for those yet to sign up with Paddy. If you don’t have an account and fancy a piece of the action, click here to join up and take advantage of the offer.

To clarify, the Hernandez enhanced odds specials are limited to a £10 stake, open to new Paddy Power customers only and subject to the terms and conditions specified.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

Alright, Oviedo haters. Construct an argument against THIS information, as to why a guy who is nailed on at 4.3M! should not be purchased with these statistics, put the 'he's a left back' bull sh!t card away, it's cost too many of you BIG scores this season, you were reluctant on the following:
    - Ramsey
    - Yaya Toure

So, here are some stats for you, and, we shall compare Oviedo against Lukaku, who is a STRIKER!

    Oviedo:

    http://www.fourfourtwo.com/statszone/8-2013/matches/695024/player-stats/77762/OVERALL_02#tabs-wrapper-anchor

    Lukaku:

    http://www.fourfourtwo.com/statszone/8-2013/matches/695034/player-stats/66749/OVERALL_02#tabs-wrapper-anchor

Summary of above information (PLEASE click it!!!):
    Lukaku:
3 shots on target, 4 off target, 1 goals, 0 chances created,
    Oviedo:
2 shots on target, 3 shot off target, 1 GOAL, 3 chances created, 1 ASSIST

Come on guys? Surely at 4.3 he is punt worthy!

Those stats seem underwhelming considering your buildup.

It is only 2 games stats though. Look at his previous stats if u can, I'm sure Chamakh has good stats for the last 2 games.

Having said that it's worth a punt. I'd go there if I couldn't afford Brunt. Oh and my Everton slots are used up with defence + Lukaku. If only he was a defender.

        Round and Round,

These are the stats of a 4.3m Midfielder. What were you expecting? I haven't got the time to research Ramsey statistics etc, but I suspect Oviedo's aren't far behind the above for the past 2.

I do agree that it would clearly be an insane buy if he was a Defender, but nobody between 4.3-7m bracket is better than him (After the Arsenal game) in my opinion.

I wasn't expecting much, its just the build-up u gave left me feeling empty. 🙂

I like him up til xmas. Just hope Baines doesn't recover quicker than expected. I do prefer Brunt for the next 3 tho 😉 Whitts or Oviedo in after

People here have a huge sheep mentality.

Attackers could be more profitable, maybe for the long term health of my team I need to fix one of my two non playing defenders. Find someone likely to get a CS this week. With festive rotation I'd be in trouble with 3 defenders...

Maybe, but you've made your Walcott-shaped bed so you should probably get 40 winks.

Can see Wally starting on the bench again but I'm going to keep as he may be just what Arsenal need to get in behind Everton.

Wenger may also want to test Oviedo defensively at left back.....

For Hazard I'd say. Might not work out this GW for sure but wouldn't want Walcott for another 3-4 GWs at least.

Oscar owners if you are still wondering, i believe if Oscar was fit Mou would have clearly stated it.I guess its a maximum possibility of an appearance from the bench.

I'm planning on making my transfers really early, once fpl updates after the deadline so I need some advice. Are Boruc -> Marshall and Cabaye -> Hazard good moves? I would move migs out but boruc is falling fast and I don't want to catch another drop. Marshall rotates very well with migs and faces weaker teams than when Liverpool play mci/tot/chel. Hazard is rising really fast and could go massive against palace in this form. Or should I think about another midfielder?
Mids are Gerrard - Ramsey - Cabaye - Redmond - Morrison.
