The Dugout Discussion – Sunday

8 December 2013 3528 comments

Share:

The Gameweek continues with a pair of Sunday afternoon kick-offs, beginning with Fulham’s clash with Villa at the Cottage, in just a few minutes. Following on from that, two form sides clash at the Emirates as leaders Arsenal look for their seventh home victory of the season against an Everton outfit fresh from their midweek win at Old Trafford.

While those two teams are looking to extend a superb spell of results, Rene Meulensteen’s Fulham are desperately seeking to end a run of six consecutive defeats against Paul Lambert’s inconsistent Villa: they will arrive in West London unbeaten in their last four road trips in the league and boosted by the midweek win at St Mary’s.

Look to our Twitter feed for the latest news on today’s teamsheets as it breaks, while our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open and will remain so throughout today’s matches, up until the final whistle at the Emirates.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Remy to Lukaku for free.

    Good to go?

Obviously wait until after game today but still interesting, Remy has decent fixtures. No other pressing transfers?

Mingolet to Howard was the other potential one. Would mean I have three Everton and couldn't Lukaku down the road.

Most people give bad advice on purpose.

They try to get others to pick crap players, so they will overtake them.

Not sure I guess people just want reassuring that they aren't making a massive mistake. When you see people asking if they should take Aguero out for a hit though then you have to wonder.

100/1 with them. Its going to need to be pretty speculative to win anything off a pound! 27 red is only going to win you £35 if it comes in.

Ah I see what you mean you thought he wanted to back a winner a lot! Sure may as well back over 0.5 goals then thats going to come in most of the time! 4/6 on both to score doesn't seem great to me I can't see both teams scoring more than 60% of the time.

It must be a bit of a downer for Riise having play for Fulham after the highs of Breaking Bad

Will Lewandowski move in January, or just sign a pre contract with a team and stay at bvb for another 6 months?

100%? There were rumours in Germany Pep wasn't that keen, already having to accommodate Muller, Gotze and Mandzukic... And they scored 7 yesterday..

I have done really quite well off them. Was in between doing Mig or Cech and Toure and Cole for GW1 and did Cech and Toure which cost me 12 points, but Boruc then started doing really well. Then ditched for Speroni who has been great ! Foster's injury meant I got Boruc's unlikely points away at Anfield, etc...
