The Dugout Discussion – Sunday

The Gameweek continues with a pair of Sunday afternoon kick-offs, beginning with Fulham’s clash with Villa at the Cottage, in just a few minutes. Following on from that, two form sides clash at the Emirates as leaders Arsenal look for their seventh home victory of the season against an Everton outfit fresh from their midweek win at Old Trafford.

While those two teams are looking to extend a superb spell of results, Rene Meulensteen’s Fulham are desperately seeking to end a run of six consecutive defeats against Paul Lambert’s inconsistent Villa: they will arrive in West London unbeaten in their last four road trips in the league and boosted by the midweek win at St Mary’s.

Look to our Twitter feed for the latest news on today’s teamsheets as it breaks, while our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open and will remain so throughout today’s matches, up until the final whistle at the Emirates.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Don't think that means anything unfortunately. They'll review it and remove it I would have thought. (Lukaku owner).

    Dear FPL

Please add "intent" to your assist rules
A missed overhead kick is not an assist

I'm afraid looks like it IS a Lukaku assist.

Ball changes direction slightly (comes spins back slightly towards Delo). How it touched him, I have no idea. But it changes direction for sure!

    1. HuttonDressedasLahm

See above. Even IF it did touch him it should still be no assist

Hey, agree with your intent rule. Makes sense!

But wanting it to be the rule doesn't make it the rule sadly.

Was it a Giroud or Wally assist, I own both, including Kosh but it looks like Giroud took a slight deflection? http://arsenalist.com/f/arsenal-vs-everton/gif-ozil-goal-1-0.html

Looks like it on that angle but I don't think it did.

It will be annoying if Lukaku gets an assist and Giroud doesn't
