An upturn in form by Palaceโs former Villa man and a certain enigmatic Bulgarian over at Craven Cottage come under the spotlight this evening. Tottenhamโs improvement in front of goal and Unitedโs faltering home form are also picked apart in our latest review of the statistics from the weekend and beyond:

So, a general question:
When and how did you discover this site?
What effect has this site had on your FPL ranking?
What features of the site do you find most useful?
I'll go first. In the summer before the 2009/10 season, having become hooked on FPL during the last half of the previous season, I did a search on Google and bingo! I was directed here to find an already thriving community. I quickly realized how poorly I had been playing the game. Home and away rotations, wtf?? Who would have thunk it?
Taking on board the tips, and with a lot of Lady Luck combined with a certain dedication, I went from a run-of-the-mill manager to a top 500 player. Although not reaching the same level since (had I invested the same amount of time I would probably be divorced by now), fantasy football quickly became an obsession, so much so I used to lie awake at night planning my trades for the next few weeks. Sad fecker!!
I am a member (some would say a tool) but make no use of anything apart from the season ticker combined with watching as many games as I can. I managed to keep the site secret from my mini-league rivals for 6 months or so, but now most know about and use the site on a regular basis which is cool since the standard has increased tenfold.
So a big shout out to Mark and co, and all those that helped me in the early days and who continue to do so now. Dribbler, MFaulkner, Evs, Jamsiep, Gargamel immediately spring to mind but there are many more. I don't post half as much as I used to (wife, kids, work all taking a front seat) but FF still takes up a large part of my spare time.
One day I might just get a life.Open Controls -
Any idea how long Stevie G is out for?

Jones is great to put in tackles in all but really lacks any creativity and ability going forward.
Should be a permanent CB when Carrick is back IMO.Open Controls-
what we need is a creative CM next to him

Will fans remain patient with Moyes? Of course using SAF as a precedent we all know what patience can achieve even with a rough start but that was a very different time, if Moyes loses United CL football next season (which is a real possibility of course) United could be in a lot of trouble in terms of attracting players or keeping the good ones that they have. Hopefully they don't fumble around in January like they did in Summer, perhaps a lesson has been learned from that incident.
Open Controls-
TRUE United fans will give Moyes the time he needs to turn things around.
I hope the owners back him with money in January and in the summer.Open Controls -
If I was a Man U fan I would think that the problems lie in the poor quality midfield rather than the manager. SAF didn't really leave the squad in great shape.
Open Controls -
i can be patient, once Moyes makes some changes in jan but mostly in the summer to the midfield
Open Controls -
Let's be honest SAF was always going to be the hardest act to follow. They need to give Moyes a chance and time to build his own team and if that means missing out on CL football for a season so be it.
Open Controls -
I heard that because United our a plc, if they lose the revenue from the UCL it will have a knock on effect on the liquidity of the club and eventually the playing staff much like Liverpool when they missed out and had owners who didn't back. The Lerner's come across the same imo. they will react this season if this is actually the case.
Open Controls -
He should be given the time. SAF left Moyes with a very average collection of midfielders, apart from Carrick, and Giggs who is 40 now. Remember SAF had to pull Scholes out of retirement to get any creativity back into the team.
