How much of this game is luck and how much is it skill? You obviously need to have some knowledge of football to do well but i nearly always go for my gut instict.
Had the captaincy on suarez ever since week 8 with the exception of aguero's haul against norwich i think it was and today had hazard as captain.

All fantasy leagues require skill; so that you can compete. They require luck; as a differential to get ahead of other skilled players.
Last GW I had brought in Rooney; which looked like a bad move. If you watched the game; he missed one clear goal short side. He ringed another off the post. That's what made it a bad move; just a few inches.

Depends who you comparing yourself. The top players around here luck plays a major part between deciding their relative fortunes each season but the fact that people can hit top 10k out of 3m each year shows skill is the key factor at play

I know in the past managers have said players have picked up knocks before an "easier" game then they play again several days later in what is deemed a much tougher match.
