Repost: Need honest opinion guys:
I am still in cup and since some GWs, after seeing my rivals team history I knew they would captain Suarez. Since rest of my team was better on paper, I captained Suarez as well to cut the risk. This strategy has worked well so far and I am through to the next round
Now my problem is that if I wasn't in the Cup, I would have definitely captained Sturridge (Gut feeling/ Form/ Position) but I didn't. My ML rival did and have scrapped about 50 points from my lead in February only.
So, what would you do if my cup rival is again a Suarez captainer next week? Cut the risk and go for Cup or focus on ML/ Overall rank ?

Sometimes strategy trumps all. I was behind 100 points in my mini league. The leader captained Saurez no matter what. So I did as well, knowing the rest of my team would out perform, even though I thought some weeks that other players would and did do better. Now I'm leading by 75 in the league and he is scrambling.
I would focus on the cup. (though strategy/predicting their moves doesn't always work) there is still an element of unknown.Open Controls

What do we think of Zaha and Negredo to Snodgrass and Adebayor? I'll probably end up doing Giroud to Lambert the following week to field 11 in Gameweek 29. If West Ham v Hull doesn't get called off, I'll probably keep Giroud through Gameweek 29. I should be able to field 11 for both 28 and 29 with this team.
