Who's more likely to keep a clean sheet this week: Chelsea at Fulham or Everton home to West Ham?

I'd say Chelsea, a team on a defensive role v. a team you wonder where the goals can come from.

Lots of talk on the West Ham forum tonight that if hull draw their fa cup game in GW 29 then the GW 31 West Ham v Hull game would be moved again. Looking at champ league dates i make em right.

    GW 29 - 8th March

12th/13th March (GW 29) and 18th/19th (GW 30) March are Champions League dates so a no go ( same for any talk of a Liverpool game in GW 29 as it goes - unless they play on a Monday which I can`t see Hull having any of.)

so that leaves 25th/26th March as really the only viable FA Cup replay dates which is the GW 31 DGW (as the FA cup semi`s are on the 12th April and the 1/2 April and 8/9 April are also Champions League).

If Uefa did not allow Hull v Brighton on a champions league date I can`t see them budging for anything else

Unless Hull play Fa Cup on the friday of course, that would allow a Hull v Liverpool game on the Monday in GW 29

The big elephant in the room with all this 29 blank, 31 DGW chat is that all teams still in FA cup could progress further leading to further blanks. Anyone know what week next round of cup is and what fixtures are therefore at risk?

So likely those fixtures will be pushed mid week unless there is already a rescheduled fixture there. Probably not a big impact then

UEFA really need to start seeing that the Premier League is developing a pretty big backlog that will likely need some dispensation from what they like.

The games will need to be played at some point, and the hard stance of UEFA will soften as there's few available slots for games to be played so that the season ends on time.

It'd be simpler to just ditch the FA cup. The whole thing seems pointless. Can't even watch it on a TV in the US at times and the stadium crowds don't seem to be much.

Yes shadow let's abandon 100+ years of tradition because the US does not screen it. The FA cup is the one where all those non-league amateur teams get to have a crack to win it starting from the early qualifiers
The league cup is the really pointless one

I just saw mid level teams with nothing much else to play for tank the FA cup with feeble line-ups (e.g. Southampton) so from the outside it seems almost as pointless as the League Cup. The half-hearted line-ups are a regular event. Plenty of comps that used to have a lot of tradition and relevance have now bitten the dust. Times change.

i whole heartedly disagree with you... the fa cup is to decide the best knockout team in the country... all the leagues for the most consistent...

very happy that australia are starting the FFA cup... be great if the marconi stallions or some state league side wins.

Not sure if/when to do silva to snodgrass for a hit. I need him next week to field 11.
    A) this week, but I would either bench or play over Kos / Ivan / Cahill / lallana
    B) next week
    C) not at all and save myself 4 pts

I already have Sturridge > RVP (c) lined up as my FT next week and I have a WC to use week 30 or 31

Any help or thoughts appreciated 🙂

How best to use my WC to maximise potentials for the upcoming DGWs? Before/after?

    My team currently:
    Adrian Marshall
    Coleman Fabio Olsson Azpi Ward
    Hazard Mata Sterling Lallana Januzaj
    Ade RVP Suarez

Currently have 2 FT and 1.7 ITB. Going to do Januzaj > Snodgrass this week, leaving me with 1FT.

Use your free transfers to load up on GW31 doublers and WC in GW32. You'll know by then how the future DGW landscape looks. If you WC in GW31 you'll want another one the next week. Three City with one being Aguero looks essential since they are looking at 3 DGWs

I don't really need to WC after GW31 though? I plan on keeping Mata and RVP till the end. City players I don't mind too. I already have Mata/RVP so I have a few GWs to shift some players to Man City players. Best to load up until that 2nd DGW where the majority have one and then WC after?

    A) GW30/31 to load up on DGWers in GW31

    B) later on in the season for the next set of DGWs (expected around GW34 I believe)

    Szczesny
    Terry, Kolarov, B Davies
    Hazard, Silva, Mirallas, Lallana

    Penny for your thoughts guys:

    ....................Adrian (4.0)..................
    Azpil - Kosc - Fonte - Mariappa - Burner
    Mata - Haz - Lallana - Sterling - Mutch
    .............Studge - Suaz - Ade ...........

    0FT & 2.7 ITB

I have potentially only 7 players for GW29 as people like Mariappa, Mutch & Burner might not play.
How do these trannys sound next week?

    Kosc > Ollson (Nor)
    Sterling > Ince
    Studge > Rooney

All for -8pts. Will give me maybe 10 players for GW29 & ill be able to afford Ade > Kun the following week.

rid of silva & toure for

    WIllian and Paulinho.

I will have 2FT for Gameweek 29 and can get rid of some deadwood (Gnabry, Flanagan) while freeing up funds to do Adebayor>Aguero for the week after:

Which defender and midfielder would you pick out of this list? I also only have 7 players so far for GW29.

Midfielders: Noone, Jedinak (has an extra game), Bradley Johnson
Defenders: Dann (has an extra game), Chester, Chambers, Bennet

Eriksen owners - presumably you are finally getting rid of him this week?

Best replacement £6.9m or less for the next 3 gameweeks? (have WC to use before GW31)

Right then think i've sort of made my mind up

    Boruc / McGregor
    Koscielny, Aspilicueta, Collins, Ward, Flanagan
    Hazard, Adam, Lallana, Noone, Yaya
    Rvp, Suarez, Sturridge

    This week: Koscielny & Yaya -> Cahill & Snodgrass / Ince (-4)
    Next week: Flanagan -> Evans
    Week after I can wildcard

Gives me a 4-5-1 for GW 29. Sounds good.... any better suggestions out there?

If Kosc is fit this week it makes more sense to do Flanagan > Cahill (instead of Kosc) as Arsenal are more likely to get a CS than Pool.

And you should be able to afford Evra over Evans. He's surely a safer and better option and since you're wildcarding the week after, price doesn't matter.

          True enough about Flanagan.
The Evans Evra one i'm not sure about. Depending on when other games get recheduled it could help to delay the wildcard for a week or two, so i just have to wait on when the games get announced.

I have 10 out, will be fine with that.

Having a bit of a nightmare recently so I may go nuts on hits to set up my team for the doubles and see what happens.

Ppl. here saying there is a chance SUN vs LIV might be scheduled on GW 29. Nothing certain though. We`ll have to wait and see i guess.
