Is it worth swap RVp for augero in gw30 before the dgw? I still have mata for utd coverage or I could do Lallana out for silva

Just done YAYA to Snodgrass (i know i know... I will get him back but will NOT get out a playing player when a double blanker worth 10m is sat there....)

    Boruc,

Hazard, Lallana, Snodgrass, Eriksen (has fixtures next 2, need him to feature...)
    Suarez, Sturridge, Adebayor

4.0, collins, john, amalf (collins comes in if eriksen doesnt feature)

Next week - Ahead of GW29 - 2FT, 8.4m in bank. - Will do MERT to Ivanovic

    Boruc,
    Ivanovic, Cahill, John
    hazard, Lallana, Snodgrass, Eriksen, Amalfitano
    Adebayor

(only field 11 - Keep extra FT)

Week after - Ahead of GW30 - 2FT - 8.0 in bank - Eriksen and Adebayor TO YAYA and AGUERO

    Boruc,
    Cahill, Ivanovic, Coleman,
    Hazard, Lallana, YAYA, Snoddy
    Suarez, Studge, Aguero

ready for MCI at Hull and then DGW week after...

Is it just me or are both Hull and West Ham players more attractive than Man UTD players in DGW31?

GW29 has so few good fantasy options playing I don't already have it seems sensible to sacrifice that GW and add a further 3 players free for DGW31.

    What are others doing?

It's reasonable logic. 25 starters over 2 Gameweeks makes it immaterial as to whether you play 7 in GW29 and 18 in GW31 or 11 & 14 over the same two GWs. So going with the better 25 players with better fixtures is a good strategy. Beware the rotation factor, however. There's typically more resting required within a DGW.

There is no guarantee that u will earn back the lost points in the dgw. Ppl always commented gw29 are all bad players..but forget abt the fact tt palace and manu has game on gw29 as well as a dgw coming up. Nt to mention the fact tt actually alot of other players lyk hazard lallana etc are all good players and are playing. Its not tt tough to get 11 out with proper planning and oso get a decent num of dgwer for gw31

It's purely a result of him playing wide. Now Sturridge is on the end of all the 'big chances' through the middle with the 1-on-1s etc, whereas Suarez's shots are now coming from oblique angles.

Suarez and Sturridge seemed to play in the center equally last game. The game before that though Suarez was on the left wing most the time. The front 3 of Liverpool's attack interchange a lot.

It seems they do that, but while when Sturridge was starting wide, he would inevitably cut inside. The number of times we were attacking and I was like "where the hell is Suarez?" was alarming. Camped out on the LW far too much. I don't think Sturridge stayed wide at all all game.

I'd expect Suarez's rate to improve – he's too good for it not to – but as long as Sturridge is playing central then he's the better option.

Suarez might do better next game if Rodgers drops Coutinho and puts Allen in. Liverpool seem to have better control of the game with him in which seems to benefit Suarez.

That's because Gerrard was absolutely dreadful defensively. If we play 4-2-3-1 then Henderson can't be allowed so much freedom. Gerrard on his own defending the back four is an accident waiting to happen.

Suarez is undoubtedly the better player but Sturridge is red hot finishing so if you were Rodgers why would you change things and upset the apple cart?

Having made the balls up of going with Benteke over Sturridge to avoid doubling up with Suarez when Aguero was injured I'm now contemplating dropping Suarez when Aguero is back for DGW31 to free up funds.

Might drop Ade too. Jelavic in 31 followed by a stream of DGW's for other cheap strikers is better than 1 game per week

    Suggestions?

    GW 30:

Try to bring in Aguero for Ade possibly depending if Kun is back or not

    GW 31:

I know that I am getting ahead of myself here, but with my abysmal team for GW29 I prefer to focus on GW31.

    Which would you choose:

    A) Yaya + Kolarov/Demel
    B) Silva + Zabaleta

Cheers. Is it just me though, or does Pellegrini prefer Clichy against tough opponents? Ok, it can be argued whether United at Old Trafford is a tough opponent, but I see a potential rest for Kolarov in that match.

True, thanks. And United's fullbacks, like Barca's, are eager to rush forward, sometimes leaving a lot of space for a player like Kolarov to take advantage of.

ATM I'm 0.1 short of getting Aguero, Yaya and Kolarov though, but I'm confident that Yaya will drop at least that before GW30. I'm also confident that I will get some injuries along the way that will derail my plan altogether, but thanks for the feedback anyway.

Is it definite that there are only 5 games in gw 29?

Or could some matches be scheduled to still be in the same gw?

Unlikely. They'd need to be scheduling them immediately if they're going to happen. I think we'll be going with just the 5.

Just on the topic of Suarez vs. Sturridge:

There is one thing in particular why Sturridge is outscoring Suarez. This is because Sturridge is playing in a central Striker role but Suarez on the other hand is playing a sort of left CAM role. If these 2 stay in these positions Sturridge will be the better option. Sturridge has got red-hot finishing also which is always a plus

I think it's very simple. Sturridge's conversion rate has been much better than Suarez's recently. I'm pretty sure that's really the only reason.

This, Suarez has has plenty of shots....more than Sturldge in fact but his radar is off and his conversion rate is back to last years levels.

      I shared this yesterday:

      http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/latest-news/155973-analyse-swans-win-with-chalkboards

The average position shows Suarez as center forward, with Sturridge as a right CAM. Actually Sterling played much further forward than Sturridge against Swansea. If you look at touches and involvement, you also see that Suarez was much more active in the final third.

Football is a game of margins and lately the margins have been going more Sturridge's way. Suarez is pure class however, and I'm confident that he'll give me a brace or two before the end of the season. Having said that, I'm a believer in SAS and am planning to keep both to the bitter end (or until Sturridge gets injured or Suarez sent off for something stupid).

Morning guys. Glad I held back on getting in Nolan for AJ. Got Lallana instead. What else would you do or is the team good to go. Can only field 10 this week. 9 if Koscielny doesn't play. Any transfer needed for a hit or leave it as it is?

    Kelvin Davies, Boruc
    Ivanovic, Ward, Koscielny, Bardsley, Demel
Lallana, Mata, Yaya Touré, Hazard, Álex Pozuelo
    Sturridge, Adebayor, Suárez

2 options for me for the upcoming GWs:

    (A)
    GW28: Chester & Silva ➡ Ivanovic & Snodgrass
    GW29: Kosc & Mirallas ➡ Fonte & Lallana (-4)

    (B)
    GW28: Chester & Silva ➡ MOlsson & Lallana
    GW29: Kosc & Mirallas ➡ Fonte & Snodgrass (-4)

    WC after anyways.

    So (A) or (B) ?

Intersting. I assume because of his differential value?

I like him too but with City almost deffo out of CL, will he not be rotating with Navas?

There's obviously a rotation risk, but when he plays he's always a goal threat and he was a key player when City were scoring freely a couple of months back.

Also, Aguero will probably take the penalties away from Yaya when he returns.

I'll be taking a punt on Nasri.

Interesting arguments. Yaya is 75 points ahead of Nasri because of more than penalties though. I'll have to see what I would do with the extra 2 mill first.

    Mannone rvp mata silva

If i do silva to snodgrass that gives me 10 outfield for week 29 and means i can save my transfer to get in a couple city players for the start of the doubles.

Madness I know but have 2 FTs and think I'm gonna just bench Mata and Yaya.
I'm gonna bring in Scott Dann or Ryan Bennett for Bruce this week.
This gives me at least 11 players this week and 9 GW 2.

Too much of a headache trying to bring Yaya back with Agero comeback on horizon.

    Team GW28

    Adrian
    Sagna Azpi Shaw Ward
    Hazard Lailana Noone
    Ade(c) Suarez Studge
