    This look a good plan?

    GW28: Kolarov & Silva -> Ivanovic & Snoddy
    GW29: Benteke & Sturridge -> Lambert & RVP(c) (4 points)
GW30: Wildcard (loading up on DGWers)

Will give me 8 starters (plus Whittaker) for the GW29 blanks

    Szczesny
    Terry, Kolarov*, B Davies
    Hazard, Silva*, Mirallas, Lallana
    Suarez, Sturridge, Benteke

    Davis, Puncheon, Demel, Whittaker

Should I be content with this for game week 29? (improving further would require point hits)

    9 Available:
    Marshall
    Azpilicueta, M Olsson, Ward,
    Hazard, Lallana, Snodgrass, Mutch,
    JRod

Got myself a fairly decent XI for this next gameweek for a necessary 4 point hit.

As for GW29, figured it's better to bite the bullet as opposed to taking hits to bring players in to then take hits to get rid of them again when DGWs start coming into the equation. Gonna just field 8 players.

Thinking a lot of my rivals will take big hits in order to just field a team over these next two weekends. Could work in my favour.

Good evening DZ. How are we all tonight?

I've been having a quick look at the options for GW 28 & 29. With the coming DGWs i will be important to strike a balance between players and retaining our big hitter and team value so we can capitalize on the frankly alarming number of DGW games we have coming up.

To that end here are the obvious big hitters that not only have good fixtures for 28 & 29 but also for the next 6 GWs.

    Hazard 100%
    Adebayor 90%
    Lallana 80%

This is based on the RMT computer points. All percentages are in relation to Hazard = 100%.

These three ranked in order of prospective points also coincides with price. The more you pay the more you expect to see in return. This interesting thing is that Hazard is much more expensive but is only expected to get marginally better returns.

    Inexpensive alternatives.
    Lambert 79%
    Cech 74%
    Jrod 75%
    Ivam 71%
    Terry 72%
    Ruddy 67%
    Adam 62%
    Snod 62%

Because we don't want to ruin our teams for the sake of 1 or 2 games it's logical to replace our bench and peripheral players. We can reinvest a bit of the cash freed from our City players and balancing the spread of players to get the maximum return.

    Value options in order:
    Boruc
    Ruddy
    Chambers
    De Gea
    Cech
    Jrod
    Hooper
    MOllson
    Lambert
    Azpi
    Ivan
    Terry
    Crouch
    Evra
    Lallana & Adebayor

*Scout Member stats are the basis of the value of each player (Price vs Points)

Hopefully you already have Hazard, Ade and Lallana and find these value options are useful to bulk out your squad and retain your prized assets for the DGWs.

Interesting, cheers. I'm actually thinking about ditching Hazard for the doubles, mainly to afford Aguero. Not sure I will get him back either. Bit worried with his excellent fixtures.

Amazed to see Adebayor so high, fairly mean fixtures, Spurs aren't too attacking atm, this new lineup is baffling

For me, it's a toss up between Boruc for gw29 or Livermore for gw31 (playing him over Snod), either for free. I think Boruc wins, and rotates just as well as Adrian with Mannone

I think a lot of people are panicking over multi-trading over the next 2-4 gameweeks and some clear-thinking should prevail:

    - Man City --> obviously if you're still holding Yaya/Silva/Dzeko/Negredo/Kola/Komps you'll want to push 1 or 2 out this week, depending on your cover and price paid (Yaya). I have the "luxury" of not having any.

    - Man U --> if you only have Mata, hold. He will be useful for his 4 games across GW29-GW31, so view this as a week off, save the trade and suck it up. I'm holding.

    - Sunderland --> Still holding AJ? On the basis of Evs' comment that LIV v SUN are due later in GW29, hold fire on bringing in Snoddy for him until this is confirmed later in the week. With 4 players in that game (Suarez/Studge/Sterling), this match alone dictates the carnage for me in GW29.

    - Liverpool --> Per my Sunderland comments above, you shouldn't be trading in/out any until we know more.

    - Norwich -> Snoddy for Yaya/SIlva is close to a no-brainer, but apart from that, see above re AJ/Sterling.

    - Chelsea --> Doubling-down on defence is wise if you have gaps to fill, but don't write off Fulham scoring at home. Personally I'm thinking of shipping out Gabbidon this GW28 for Terry/Iva to partner Cahill.

    - Southampton --> Clean sheets look a worry but with Lovren back this GW or next, might tighten up for GW29 (palace) and GW30 (NOR). Lallana a no-brainer for City mids if not yet held, and possibly Lambert for the Dzeko holders this GW28 (LIV) with goals on offer.

    - Arsenal --> no point getting rid of this week, and reassess next week.

    - West Ham, Hull --> with GW29 match moved to GW31, hold fire this week on trading out Hull players and contemplate holding Hammer defence for another GW.

In summary, wait for news on LIV v SUN being rescheduled to GW29 or not, hold fire on United, and ship out City players and dead wood this week for Southhampton guns, Snoddy and Chelsea defence. Come GW30 you'll be pleased you did.

Depends on your team. If Pool play their Sunderland game in GW29, then you could go nuts up front in GW31 with Aguero, RVP/Rooney with Yaya/Mata in the mids. If you have the team strength until then, just work towards it in GW30.

        Who do you presently have?

Chamack took last one, if I'm not mistaking.

As Mile Plankton said, Chamakh took and scored the last one. I'm not sure if Puncheon was on the pitch at the time though.

Puncheon won't take another penalty this season.. I guarantee you that.

Don't be letting your mouth write cheques that people can't bank. There is no way you can guarantee anything like that unless you are Tony Pulis and you don't get sacked between now and the end of the season. e.g. if chamakh and murray go off and Ince is injured I don't see anybody else stepping up for a peno

Ps not saying Punch is behind all of them either, there is no evidence to suggest that is the case.

I support my statement wholeheartedly. In the off chance they get a penalty he won't be the one taking it.

My team is in a similar spot, I'm pretty much holding any guys and looking to benefit from future DGW's and hoping rival in my mini league butchers his team for hits on guys for GW29 that he'll want out by GW31.

Agreed. Best to avoid hits completely than to bring in mediocre players for a single week.
        Cheers.

Hits can be inspired or devastating. I just don't see many options for 1 week punts in 29.

I'm thinking I'll take a hit to sell Kompany for Terry or Ivanovich though. I reckon they can at least make up the -4 in the 2 weeks Vinny adds nothing. Then get Kompany back in for GW31 and beyond assuming he's fit.

But if I had your defence, I don't think I'd remove anyone for a -4 for 1 week game against Tottenham.

Kompany for Terry this week I should clarify. Have him in GW 28, 29 and 30 before selling for Kompany in 31.

If the LIV game gets rescheduled to the midweek of GW29, is anyone considering going without Sturridge or Suarez with a GW30/31 WC? Bad fixtures, no DGW and decent alternatives with both in Aguero, RVP, Lukaku, Remy, Bony etc...

I only have Suarez now and I think I'll be tempted to sell him for Aguero.

I'll be keeping Suarez I think. I'm simply too scared of the damage that will be done if I sell him and he does anything at all.

I'm tempted. Not sure I will follow through though. He has it just now, but can see me flip flopping several times before I panic around 11:28 on Saturday with my final decision.

    Giroud to Ade worth -4?

    And

Is there a chance Cole could come back in against fulham if Azpi plays Wed?
