  Ivanovic is a good option. Not certain I would bring Sterling in. I see him becoming more of an impact player of the bench and Rodgers keeping things tight for the rest of the season. However, I would sell Mirallas as I think he will see plenty of the bench.

Gerrard, Wilshere**;
Ox-Cham, Rooney, Lallana;
Sturridge.

*Two horsed race between GJ & Walker for the right-back spot, neither are particularly convincing at this stage.

**Easily interchangeable for Henderson/Lampard/Carrick depending on opposition.

Hodgson's being smart by playing the Liverpool players together, i think that would be England's best chance of success at the WC. Add Rooney and Wilshere and the team is pretty solid. We've seen how important the familiarity amongst the players is with Spain/Barca and the Golden Generation of England with Frank/Gerrard/Scholes (amazing on paper but shocking together).
