Many people on here spend a lot of time putting their teams together, planning transfers and selecting captains. It can be a bit unhealthy at times but this website wouldn't be so popular if there weren't hundreds like us. We all make bad calls (in hindsight) and it feels great when a transfer / hit / captain choice pays off. Therefore it is extremely disappointing the way today has unfolded.
My main rival in one of my leagues sold Suarez last week so i took a risk this week and captained him, my own story but I like many others deserve those points as the assist meets the criteria of the rules in full.

Has anyone got an actual explanation of the lack of a Suarez assist? Is it because Suarez wasn't passing/crossing/shooting? The rules don't actually cover the incident in my opinion.
Open ControlsThe rules say the player who earns the penalty gets the assist. Rafael stuck his arm out to stop the Suarez run so its as clear cut as it comes. Plus there is a precedent here with Lallana a few weeks ago

I think you may be on to something- I know someone mentioned Huth got an assist for handball but did he take a shot?(honest question I have no idea).
Perhaps only giving assists for shots at goal is there way of covering awarding assists for potential situations like Glen Johnson later on in the game- who gets that assist in that case. Having said that it really should be a Suarez assist.Open Controls
