If what you say about this is true, that if it is a deliberate handball than no assist should be given, then that is a pretty dumb rule, because in the laws of the game a free kick or penalty for handball can only be given if it is deliberate.
In other words, if the laws of the game are applied correctly, then there would be no assists from any goal scored directly from a freekick or penalty that resulted from a handball.Open Controls

I'm a Suarez (c) here and don't really care all that much. 10 points is annoying yes, but if I'm looking at the bigger picture, I had a good week compared to most, didn't captain a dud, and Suarez at least got a goal.
