Hey Wakey, do you know how to limit member stats tables to a max budget? Looking to put a budget defender table together

118, 10 players to go!

Just remember folks, it's only 'half time' so far this game week 😉

Real Madrid will beat Barca tonight
Well I think thatOpen Controls-
As long as both teams score I'm happy.

Interesting Stat: Rooney has scored 0 goals in his last 7 home games in the league and his last 9 league goals have all been away from home!
Open Controls -
Does anyone know what the record is for highest score or highest average in a gameweek? This week looks like it could challenge it.
Open Controls-
184 is the highest score in my memory when United had a DGW 4 or so seasons ago and (C) Rooney got 64, would be surprised if that wasn't beaten this week

Avg score 65/66

On that theme, anyone know the record score for a season by a player (presumably ronaldo) Is suarez on course to beat it?

Most Premier league hat-tricks in a season:
Alan Shearer 5 (42 games) (Blackburn Rovers, 1995–96)Open Controls

bale, ronaldo and messi all to score anytime. 18/1. worth a flutter?
Open Controls-
That's pretty much 18/1 on bale scoring.

Vlaar instead of 4 pt hit for Dummett looking great now. 🙁
Open Controls-
Dummett & Ward Prowse for cheap set-piece takers seem tidy bargains. In the Sky game, bringing in 3 villa defenders got me -2,-2, -3! Put the dampner on having brought in Lallana, Eriksen, Lambert and Benteke.
Open Controls
-
-
so who played Lallana?
Open Controls-
http://fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/2328653/event-history/31/ Cech, Terry, Azpi. Lallana, Crouch. 40 points from 5 SGW players after bonus. Not me, that's who I'm trying to catch.

Have watched only one el clasico so far and that wasnt that good as it was hyped to be.Hoping todays match is high scoring and it lives up to the hype.
Open Controls -
How will Man Utd line up against City in people's opinions?
Open Controls -
Think I'll just pretend Villa don't have a DGW. So unreliable for CS and Benteke is worse than Lukaku for me. Never does a jot when I own him
Open Controls-
When do they have dgw ? 34?
Open Controls-
37

Delph is where its at my friend, though I'm hopeful Sterling will replay my faith of benching Delph
Open Controls-
Delph is a card magnet. I'm not sure I like the idea of playing Delph over say Cahill at home to Norwich, for 37 I know for sure
Mannone
Evra, Cahil, _____
Yaya, AJ, Hazard, _______
Suarez, Rooney, Kun/Sturridge
worst came to it I'd play 3 in midfield and go 4-3-3Open Controls-
Yeah I said it jest, but having said that if you're going for a 4-3-3 Delph is a decent pick to accommodate your front 3 (esp given that at gw 37 you don't have to look too far into the future)
I would reconsider AJ though, it means you have to keep him till gw 37. Sunderland have scored 1 in their last 4 ( a consolation versus Arsenal) with relatively easy fixtures bar Arsenal...Open Controls

Is it worth using my free transfer for Parker > Mutch as a fifth mid bench fodder?
Team is:
Mannone Marshall
Terry Coleman Fonte Olsson Ward
Yaya Gerrard Hazard Mirallas Parker*
Suarez Sturridge LukakuOpen Controls-
Will you play him ?
If not - nice to have on your bench (I ended up benching his points before he got injured)….
But IMHO saving the FT might be better for injuries and DGW34 on the horizon.
You're unlikely to play 3-5-2 and drop Lukaku ??Open Controls-
Thanks Wasabi, this was my main concern - would I actually play him.
Might hold onto the transfer for now.Open Controls

Who else getting lallana in?
NEW CAR avl EVE swa in the next 6. my only worry is that Southampton slowly have nothing to play for and are disappearing into mid table obscurity. and sure it was just a one off but him being taken off before 60 mins vs norwich is a tiny red flag,Open Controls-
NEW CAR
Open Controls-
compelling argument... 🙂

no room at the inn for me. Yaya, Hazard, AJ nailed for the duration. Noone is 5th mid. After that I might downgrade in order to fund Kun if he's fit. No idea who for though as in GW34 no one appeals that i can get and in 37 Chelsea are at home to Norwich so need to make room to play both of Hazard and Cahill.
Open Controls -
Im not getting him now just sold him last week for gerrard and I am not sure about newcastle but cardiff can upset saints seeing how they played against everton and pool
Open Controls -
Yaya, silva and haz in my team. Also got Gerrard who is mr consistent so no lala for me 🙁

i've kept him in the bench (form and fixtures)

When do the yellow cards reset? Is it the end of the season?
Open Controls -
Mannone, Marshall
Zabaleta, Azpilicueta, Collins, Ward, Chambers
Yaya, Hazard, Silva, Sterling, Mutch
Suarez, Sturridge, Lukaku
Still trailing my rival by 30 points despite a massive 110 point haul this week. Any suggestions for next week?Open Controls -
Mark my words Ronaldo and Bale are gonna destroy barca tonight

Nolan and Sterling > Lala and Mutch...?....fixtures, form, stats, nailed on...Y or N ?...
Open Controls-
Y. would you sell AJ?
Open Controls-
Yep...he's a shocking pick...You're living on hope JKI, might get lucky but probably not. Can you find him on here ?...http://members.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/my-stats-tables/view/4382/

would love to get Mirallas in but can't do it due to my stupid Everton double up. I have Noone so not fancying Mutch. It's all down to Aguero tbh.

Go for it, I thought you were a stats guy - why did you do Nolan in the first place?
You could consider Eriksen, regardless of the goals he had a great performance and I think Sherwood is deperate enough to keep the job to play him every week henceforth..Open Controls

Long post coming up. (Repost - Didn't realize there was a new post)
The Yaya hattrick has forced me into a bout of introspection.
This season has been poor mainly because I've messed up with most of the 'big hitters'.
Yaya, Coleman - haven't owned at all this season.
Ramsey - just had him for one week (he scored 1 point)
Aguero - in my team for three weeks (out of which he was injured for one)
Sturridge - had him pre-injury but never got him back
Hazard - have owned off and on, went for Oscar over him on January WC and missed his hattrick
Even Suarez - Planned forever to bring him in as soon as his ban was up, but his comeback was against United in the COC, and - in a bout of Suarez hatred and United love - went for Lukaku instead. Paid dearly as it took me 5 more weeks to finally bring him in.
The fact that it's not a couple of the big hitters, but almost all, who I've failed to capitalize on makes me think that my foreshadowing on this account is fundamentally flawed. Without delving deeper, I have a feeling that I would find something similar if I analyze my past season performances.
At the same time, I could've been a lot worse off than I am. The only part I've gotten right this season is getting on and off player wagons at the right times. Not the season keepers, mind you, but the Nolans and Cazorlas.
Successes - Benteke, Cazorla, Ozil, Walcott, Cabaye, Chico, Adebayor
Fails - jRod (from the start), Townsend
The three main components of a successful FPL season - the season long performers, the ones who bloom and wilt (Ozil, Benteke, etc.), and the captain choices. Consistently doing well on two of these three counts will result in an above average season, but to get into the top 5k, all three are essential.
What d'you guys think?
*Rant over*Open Controls
