Say Rafael ends up being fit for the weekend would you still get Jones in for Man U defense? I can't afford Evra and don't really think anyone else is nailed on to play both games

  I can see Jones playing the first game at right back at least. and possibly a move to centre. Dont think Rio and Vidic will play both matches. Jones has been pretty reliable. Think he'll play both matches.

  Better start planning where to reassign your time and thinking. For me I might spend more time doing my job rather than being paid to sit at my desk and think about FF. Got 3 months to make some progress before next season starts. Less one month for the WC of course

    Whoa, a bit of pressure there. I was thinking of an RVP (C) punt if he's fit this week to try to get up to a 3-digit rank and now with this information I feel like this is definitely the week for a punt. By the way thanks for setting up all these leagues each year, fun distraction if you aren't doing well and even more fun if you are!

        Well if he isn't fit then i'll have to go in another direction but from what i've read he's been making good progress in training. Still, i'm definitely holding off on making any transfers until Friday just so I can monitor the situation

Chasing a 19 Point Deficit (back from about 80-100 over past 10 weeks), the above would give me 9 DGWers, rival has DDG, Kolarov, Zaba, Aguero made 4 transfers already. Assume they are YYT, Rooney in - Maybe Mata and UTD Def

Worth the above?

    That's what I was thinking. He's already sitting on -12 so if I can do the -8 and hope for the Captaincy Diff to pay off that'd be the best.

      True ... but for a loss of 8 seconds of your life it could make a monumental difference if Ramsey falls ill and you get Coleman with -1 instead of Puncheon with 15 (2 goals, 3 baps)

  Looking rock solid! I've decided to stick with Nasri (& no Yaya) also... Nasri's stats have looked very decent in Silva's absence. Due a big haul. Great option for the DGW

  I had El Ahmadi early in the season as bench fodder, no idea why. And I had to play him one week. I think it was against West Brom. I put a bet on the match, over a certain amount of goals. El Ahmadi scored for me and made my bet come in and win me £80!

I also owned Berbatov for a random week, but he was immediately injured, so I he never played for me.   Fabio was a pretty horrendous choice. Don't really know why I got in Aaron Hughes in GW24 either, he hadn't played a minute for 5 weeks and went out on loan pretty soon after.

  Applying the word elite to fantasy football immediately makes you super-non-elite at using words. Anyone finishing in the top 1K every year is very lucky (though admittedly good as well).

  Unless you strive to be an elitist its probably better not to use the term. Finishing in the top 10k regularly does make you a very good FPL player though. Finishing in the top 1k regularly makes you a bit of an FPL legend, but only if you don't proclaim yourself one 😉
