Well, I am bloody glad this is the last gameweek of the season.
My team is in absolute tatters!

Aguero
Might be taking a few hits this week too!Open Controls-
Same 5 players for me too. 😯
Thinking about -8. What about you?Open Controls-
I guess I'll just wait til press conferences for injury news on Aguero, Rooney and Ramsey.
Though with Rooney and Ramsey, who have nothing to play for, I can't see why they'd bring them back in?
I just looked at the team I could put out next week and I'm actually pretty happy with it, benching Ramsey, Mata and Evra.
I think I'll be doing Rooney to someone, then maybe another depending on Aguero and Ramsey news.
Tbh I'm 100 points ahead in my ML, so can probably class it as won 😀Open Controls

What's wrong with Evra?

Look again? I did post my bench. 😉
Don't you think Aguero > Adebayor/Lukaku/Poldi & Ramsey > Yaya is safer?Open Controls-
My bad plenty of cover !
Tough one , I genuinely fancy both Ade / Lukaku this week and may be off template if chasing , but it's hard to ignore Dzekos form.
Nasri is slightly covering Yayas points so at least you have a City mid ,
Eriksen already gives you some Spurs ' cover ' ,
Team needs more Pool / Chelsea maybe ?Open Controls-
Hazard is nothing more than punt & I wonder whether Jose's ego keeps him on the bench again so don't want to take risk.
Agree with Dzeko's form part but Yaya surely isn't covering Nasri's points. 🙁
Thanks for your time mate. Will think. Cheers. 🙂Open Controls

Feck it: Benteke up top!!! Who would have guessed. I thought he's been injured almost all season long.
Soldado was obvious, I'd wager he has scored most goals of this lot, thanks to his penalties, and almost always got the full three baps, because the penalty was the only goal of the game, so winning goal, and the extra baps for striker goal (why is that? nobody knows).
It's amazing really: they guy does nothing in whole match, then somebody else draws a dodgy penalty, he converts it and walks away with three baps, while his GK who has struggled to keep that clean sheet that actually won them the three points get 0 baps.Open Controls

Differential captain GW38
Many of us will desperately trying to claw back a smallish mini league leader going into the final game, here's my take on a few decent differential captaincy choices.
Sturridge - Many will buy back this week but may be a sound choice, looked sharp against Palace and could easily bag a couple.
Hazard - back fit now and looked the part to put the sword to an already relegated Cardiff.
Eriksen - home to Villa on a last day which promises a few goals with both having nothing to play for, sure to be involved in either the goals or assists.
Lukaku - I say Lukaku with as much trepidation as I can muster. We've all been there this season I'm sure, captaining him only to be horribly let down, but could be his swansong at Everton and we all know what he can do in a final game.
Terry - Terry is the punty pick, Mourinho, true to form will still keep things tight if there's an inkling that if the footballing gods play in to his hands and the results fall his way, he could well get on the scoresheet. He won me my mini league on the last day 2 seasons ago and there's an outside chance he could help me again.
I'm sure there are plenty more to add to the list, although pretty sure most of the top 10k (and those currently topping mini leagues) will still leave the armband on the not so differential Suarez.Open Controls-

do you think players past stats performance isnt relevant for this week as anything can happen.
such as hazard not being great away from home compared to homeOpen Controls-
I think players past stats performance isn't relevant when playing vs Cardiff
Open Controls -
I'm seriously considering a hit to bring him in, I doubt that I would if I was leading my ML tho.
Open Controls -
Past performance is the best gauge we have but it is far from perfect. However, if I thought someone had a good fixture, I thought they would play and they have shown previously they can get a big score then I would consider them as you no longer need to care that you will be stuck with them.

I'm totally crapping ma breeks this week as I now have a chance of making 1st overall for GW3 starters (14 points) and an outside chance of making top 10K (29 points).
I don't want to get this close to fall down at the last hurdle.
Team needs a bit of work and I need to figure out who the 2-3 best players will be this weekend and who is the best captain.

dzeko would be obvious choice to start
struggling to convince myself of right trade for rooney, thinking sturridge in that they are still scoring plenty of goals, same logic for sterling in mid i suppose
hard to see any sneeky punt, borini will be on a high but you dont know if their performance will drop now they are safe.
also think palace mids could do damage at fulham, they are scoring goals nowOpen Controls -
Aye those are my certain players and you can add Ward to that list.

Your FPL season as club?
Arsenal: Stonking up unitl January. Then it fell apart for a fair bit but got it back together towards the end.Open Controls-
Previous seasons Arsenal, starting off slow and then ending the season with a flurry of wins (green arrows)
Open Controls -
Liverpool:
Nearly won all 3 of my mini leagues, reached my top 10k target from the start of the season, flirted with the top 5k for ages but now relying on a miracle elsewhere in GW38 to win my final mini league and get top 5k.
Ironically, I need Liverpool to fail in GW38.Open Controls -
Probably Man United. There have been times where I've done pretty well and had a few good weeks, but disappointing overall, injuries to key players and some poor decisions.
Open Controls -
Folk are too hard on Arsenal..They did well to get CL spot given their never ending injuries this season. Have they been the hardest hit?..can't think many did worse, WHAM defence maybe ran them close but that's it.
Open Controls-
City have had a lot of injuries to key players this season but they have a big enough squad to cope.
Open Controls-
Mainly Aguero and Silva over and over. City have actually managed to use less players than any other team in the prem...strange but true.
Open Controls-
Interesting. They have a huge squad too. But true, of their first XI basically just three players have suffered injuries: Nasri one long injury, Silva and Aguero mani small injuries. These are important players, but seen what Arsenal has suffered, it's nothing relative to it.
Have to say, Arsenal has once again been particularly struck by injuries. Liverpool has only basically had a couple of injuries to Studge, ManU had RVP sidelined by Moyes' stone age training methods but that's it, and Chelsea lost Hazard for couple of matches and almost nothing else, having also probably the most massive playable squad in Premier League.
Spurs have also had more than their fair share of injuries, and particularly many in defense.Open Controls-
RVP was obviously a major loss for United, but beyond that Moyes's endless team changes was akin to the problems caused by too many injuries. I've never been a fan of using too many players, the benefits of players playing together regularly far outweigh any benefits of unnecessary R and R....Pell got the balance right this season.
Open Controls-
Yeah, but you need to have some rotation, because if you always stick to same XI, you will end up with injuries to important players at the end of season when it matters, and the players who don't get to play will get rusty and can't step up to replace the first teamers when needed. Rotation is very important for success.

They had Fernandinho & Garcia out against Chelsea which cost them. Kompany was out for a good few weeks nearer the start of the season and their defence was shocking in that period. Also Negredo has not been the same without Aguero and then he got the shoulder injury and he has not been on form since returning. However, they are better equipped to cope as they real quality replacements
Open Controls-
Yeah..I'm not saying they didn't have any injuries but the number they had was manageable. The two worst affected this season was Arsenal midfield, who were down to bare bones at one point...and WHAM defence, who probably had less than bare bones at for a while.
Open Controls-
I think we are actually in agreement here as I am not disputing that the loss of Walcott, Ramsey, Ozil, etc had a massive impact on Arsenal's season and I also agree that West Ham defence was decimated add to that the loss of Carroll and it explains their league position.
My point was just that City have had just as many injuries to key players but the difference being they have quality replacements to bring in.Open Controls-
Maybe even more important was the lack of rotation of key attacking players who had to make huge work coming down to help defence too, i.e. Giroud, Ramsey, Özil. That gets them tired and eventually causes injuries. Whenever they were up by 2 after 60 minutes against weaker opponents, Wenger should have gradually subbed two of Ramsey, Giroud and Özil to rest them. Especially Giroud hardly got a break for long time and he was also playing CL matches and France's World Cup qualifications. There's no way he could do that without losing sharpness and it is a miracle he hasn't picked an injury. That Özil did, was only to be expected.
Open Controls-
Definitely...Pell is never averse to taking off his top players on 60mins...well top by the standards of the club but they have other great players to replace them with..Nonetheless he's forever dragging Silva and Aguero off on 60 mins even when fit. Incidentally..City have used only 23 players this season...compare that to the worst..Fulham on 40...
Open Controls -
You make a valid point mate as players do play a lot of games and it is much more demanding these days because of the pace it is played at and the amount of games played.
Obviously I do not know what goes on behind the scenes at Arsenal but I would imagine they have a team of doctors, physios, sports scientists and psychologists. I would also imagine they monitor the players' condition and mental condition and inform the management & coaches of who needs rested and who is in peek condition. It should then be up to the management and coaches to manage that.Open Controls

Are you chasing or leading? If you are leading just do Ramsey > Sterling for no hits?
I have a feeling Liverpool won't go crazy this week - they need to win to force City to not lose. Winning 1-0 or 7-0 is the same result for them, so surely (BR might disagree) get 2 or 3 up then go defensive.
God, imagine if Liverpool capitulate like they did against Palace, and Wham somehow score a last minute winner...Open Controls-
Leading.
Don't see the point of holding onto Rooney though.
