With so many of you seeking advice on their teams before August 16, we thought it would prudent to run a daily community article to provide a dedicated focus for “Rate My Team” (RMT) requests.

Each day ahead of the new season, we’ll select one of the Fantasy Football Scout team and post up their own RMT request to open up discussion and encourage others to post their own. We’ll turn the comments over to you to provide a useful place for those seeking advice and highlight some of the key decisions under deliberation.

Please nudge those posting RMTs in other articles to visit this daily RMT article. Also, when posting requests, please remember to be courteous to those who take the time to help out. Equally, if you’re an experienced Fantasy manager with some views on initial line-ups, take time out to dip in and contribute – the Fantasy Football Scout team will be doing their upmost to offer their feedback as the discussion develops throughout the day.

Next up is Spencer.

Krul – Foster
Luis – Coloccini – Wisdom – Ward – Cameron
Mata – Sigurdsson – Eriksen – de Jong – Albrighton
Rooney – Costa – Sturridge

Nothing in the bank.

He is aware that at the back he is relying heavily on clean sheets at Newcastle and West Brom. Any advice on improving his back-line would be appreciated. Also, is he right to opt for the expensive Daniel Sturridge? Will a lack of Arsenal cover come back to bite him?

Feel free to get stuck in with your feedback. We look forward to scanning your RMTs throughout the day on this article.

      B) but not Shaw. Had fitness issues in pre-season and might not play every game until LvG is convinced he's up to the expected level. Consider Evans instead who is more nailed?

Krul has ugly fixtures on the following dates (with Foster's opponent shown)

      17 Aug (Sunderland)
      25 Oct (C palace)
      1 nov (Leicester)
      6 Dec (Hull)

Shaw, Barkley & Lovren out. I'd go with Evans/jones, Debuchy/5.0 & another 5.0/4.5 def. ditch Barkley for Eriksen/lamela. You could up sterling to Gerrard or another 9 mf if you fitch Debuchy for a 5 def. there are loads of 5/4.5 defs to choose.

Sanchez - Lamela - Sterling - Nasri (Albrighton)

It's not just light in defence, it's thinner than a tissue. Wilson not nailed on at stoke. Aanholt, Sanchez & Costa unknowns. Siggy probably not playing in the hole. I'd ditch Sanchez for 9m mf, beef up defence by 1m & replace Siggy with Shelvey/Mutch

I'm not too sure about Ward-Prowse with his game time under question. I like the Puncheon punt and your front line looks strong. Overall a decent looking side, maybe try work in Mata as he seems like a great pick for 9m with such appealing fixtures to start the season.

Ben Davies game time is under question so you might want to look at other 5m options, maybe Caulker? I like the De Jong punt, braver than I am. Your midfield and strikers look pretty strong, I'd be tempted to switch Fab+Mutch for Hazard+4.5, maybe Marney? Finally, do you not think Siggy is a good pick for 6? He seems to be getting a lot of love on here.

    Martinez told reporters:

”When you have players coming back from the World Cup you have to decide if you want the players straight away or do you give them a bit of time to refresh and be ready to play for 10 months?

“It will only be Kevin Mirallas and Rom who might not start the season. For Romelu, it will depend on how he adapts to work from now until August 16.

Hazard fitness risk is a fair point, but I do think he'll be alright for the start of the season, maybe not 90 mins but I have him as a season keeper, don't want to risk not having him and his price rising beyond my reach. My 4.5 defenders aren't nailed as choices yet, still looking at those, the Siggy and mutch options are interesting and I've looked at those, I do think Siggy is a great pick as things stand though, partly due to his propensity to shoot

The defence may be a little expensive, downgrade one of your 5.5 and use the extra money to upgrade up top. You have double city and no city, maybe switch Dzeko or Yaya for Costa or Hazard. Other than that I don't see much wrong with your side.

Yep, rejig and save 1m. Plus presumably you've got a mf 6 on the bench some weeks? I'd ditch yaya as he's too expensive get a 9 mf (silva if you want city), downgrade sig to Shelvey and up snodd to fabregas . You've no Chelsea attacking player.

I'm a bit nervous about getting Fabregas in straight away, when he's only 1.0 less than Hazard. Might go for Yaya to Hazard, and save some money by getting a burnley defender to rotate with Chester (They rotate home and away all season I think), then will have some more cash to play with.

I'm not sure about doing Siggy to Shelvey, I reckon Siggy will outperform Shelvey in all honesty. I'd rather do Yaya-Hazard, Debuchy to a 4.5 and then Dzeko-Costa. Also change the keeper rotation maybe?

There's better keeper rotation than green-Speroni. Look at Beg/Krul/foster. Siggy central position is not 100%, if he's out wide then Shelvey or Mutch are better value, plus why pay 6m if he'd benched some weeks? If your going to play Siggy every week, then why snodd? Or if it's a 5 man midfield then downgrade bojan to a 5

I've been seriously considering fletcher for that price. Has been in and out of my team for a whole. I can see the bojan-wagon crashing spectacularly, and I think Fletcher's injury ravaged season last year has made people forget that he had scored 10+ goals for
a thoroughly average side in the previous 3 seasons.

Having said all that, currently on Austin.

Hutton - O'Shea - Felipe Luis (Moore, Duff)
Yaya Toure - Ramsey - Mata - Eriksen (Albrighton)
    Austin - Rooney - Costa

Which 4.0 defender will start for Leicester? Wasilewski, Moore or Upson.

Ideally, I could have them all but who do you think is the better pick?

    a) Hazard
    b) Sanchez
    or c) Fabregas

Hard to say. All of them could potentially smash it. Hazard is definitely the safest choice. It depnds what you do with the money would would save by having Fab. Whats your combo?

Any advice on what changes to make?

    Krul Foster
Jones Van Aanholt Ferdinand Cameron Mariappa
    Mata Sanchez Sterling Eriksen Albrighton
    Rooney Costa Austin

After a fair amount of changes I think I'm happy with this team but wanted your guys opinion so I could be sure

    Hi Guys

v2 of my team coming up. Thanks in advance for any assistance provided adn an overall rating out of 10 would be great:

McGregor (Heaton) - rotating depending on fixtures
Terry, Debuchy, Cameron/N. Taylor (rotating depending on fixtures), (Wisdom)
Mata, Sanchez, Sigurdsson, Nasri, (S. Davis)
    Dzeko, Rooney, Bojan

    2m ITB.

Wisdom/S.Davis bandwagon fodder at this point though I could use the money to upgrade Nasri to Hazard but feel a bit odd without a City mid (I know others might say the same about no Chelsea attackers).

    And some general overall questions:
    1. Should I do Nasri -> Hazard and leave 0.5 ITB for early bandwagons or keep the spare cash for inevitable multiple early GW bandwagons?
    2. Any suggestions for 4.5m mids that are just as locked in to start as S.Davis?
    3. Why does everyone keep saying that Cameron isn't nailed on to start considering the number of games he played last season and performance at the WC? If so, who should I take instead of Cameron? Pieters?
    4. Why is Wisdom as nailed on to start as everyone says he is?
    5. Any suggestions on improvements?

    Hi everyone

    Lloris (Myhill)
Janmaat, Clyne, Coulker, Jones, (Wisdom, need advice for starting 4.0 defender)
    Mata, Eriksen, Hazard, Ramsey, Siggy
    Rooney, Jovetic, (Bojan)

Would rotate Bojan and siggy or play with 4 def. Or maybe if u have some advice for a player that i can get for that 7+4.5 bench.
I like to have 4 good options back so i can change someone who plays really though games like chelsea, sity, etc.
Will probly swap Jovetic for Dzeko,Giroud(depending on cs performance)

Gouffran up front again in a 4-4-2 against Sociedad.

Shame he'll most likely be benched when De Jong returns.

Actually it looks he keeps interchanging with Cabella just behind Riviere in more of a 4-4-1-1. Still would have been good value at £6.5m in FPL.
