Villa will definitely stay up. Lambert has bought well with limited funds. Senderos and Cissokho are both solid defenders and with Hutton back in the team we look much better at the back. We have also bought Carlos Sanchez who is the type of defensive mid we have needed for a while. He will protect the back four which should let Delph get forward. Benteke and Kozak still to come back. Expecting big things from Jack Grealish too. Villa to finish somewhere between 8th-12th this season. Dont be fooled, the villa squad atm is a vast improvement on the squad which finished last season

Open ControlsYeah I feel Senderos is underrated. He's no world beater but is not as bad as people say he is. I feel him and Vlaar will form a decent partnership this season. Both are very experienced and this was apparant today when both looked calm and composed when stoke were applying pressure in the last twenty minutes. Last season I daresay Baker/Clark would have made a mistake through a lapse in concentration near the end. I think Cissokho will be a quality player for us as well. He is great defensively and does a decent job going forward as well. Hutton is a good right back and is a huge improvement on Lowton/Bacuna. So I think those four will forge a decent back four this season. With Carlos Sanchez protecting them and adding steel to our midfield I think we have a solid base to work with. I just expect us to be much more solid and hard to beat this season. Overall, I feel we have got rid of the dross in Tonev, Bowery, Helenius. We have added Senderos, Cissokho, Carlos Sanchez and Richardson. Hutton, Okore, N'Zogbia and Grealish are like new signings. Also with Benteke and Kozak to return from injury I just feel that our squad is much more competitive.
