Is Diouf the kind of dude you maintain faith with?
Open Controls-
Deserves more than one GW for sure. Super isolated today. Looked good when he did have the ball. Was just too few and far between with no support.
Open Controls-
I feel like with the creativity of Bojan and Arnautovic, some of it has to rub off of on Diouf, who will take his chances anyway. Symbiosis effect.

This guy is above me he is one point ahead with Toure and Dzeko and i have Hazard and Jovetic to play (we both have costa and terry) will I overtake this week?
Open Controls -
What's the situation with Giroud? Is he not nailed anymore? Should have gone for Dzeko instead. 🙁
Open Controls-
I don't have Giroud, but as an Arsenal fan, I was shocked he didn't start today.
Open Controls -
Always short a run. Community Shield was a big clue.
Open Controls -
He wasnt fit enough to start the season. Wegner pretty much said that before. Hw shoukd start next week I reckon.
Open Controls-
There's more to it. Wenger's comments, Wilshere's tiff... Where there's smoke, there's fire.
Open Controls-
Interesting. Need to keep an eye on this for the coming week. I too had Giroud as my third striker for the differential. Hopefully he can pop one in at the CL qualifier and solidify his place for next weekend. MOTD commentator said Arsenal looked a better team with Giroud on the pitch.

3 biggest problems in this team outside Elliot?
Elliot / Krul
Moore / Debuchy / Ferdinand / Clyne / Chester
Hazard / Ramsey / Mata / Albrighton / Sigurdsson
Rooney / Dzeko / Diego Costa
1 FT, £0.0m in the bank.
Mata, Albrighton & Moore?Open Controls-
Mata will be fine it's a game
Open Controls-
only one game
Open Controls
-
-
Elliot's not a problem.
Albrighton and Moore. Mata is not a problem, he played well, this is one bad gameweek.Open Controls -
I wouldn't worry too much about any of them unless you're going to lose money. Those .1 drops can stymie many an early season plan. Save xfer unless you're a hits architect
Open Controls -
Depending on how the week unfolds for City I may be inclined to find a replacement for Dzeko?
Although, unless something major happens it's best to not knee jerk & save that FT.Open Controls -
Cheers all. Pool might get me interested.
Open Controls

Ulloa didn't look bad. Worth keeping an eye on as a possible cheapie for later in the season.
Open Controls-
thought the same. cheapie options will be at a premium if Aguero starts off firing

CMON STUDGY HATRICK BRING ME BACK IN THE GAME!!!
Open Controls-
Sorry, tomorrow doesn't look good for you either

Is 79pts, ranked #1 in the world good, even though I benched Chester & had Sigurdsson in my team until 11:29am?
Open Controls-
enjoy it mate you wont be there come end of gw 🙂
Open Controls-
He's not telling the truth. Not sure what the whole point of the post is either.
Open Controls-
The same as all the similar posts.

"while Kelly and Hangeland have been selected by caretaker boss Keith Millen in favour of Adrian Mariappa and Damien Delaney, who both have slight injury concerns."
Does that mean Kelly is not first choice? I have him in my team..Open Controls-

I took Naughton because of potential CS but he managed to get a red . I also took Austin because he is on pennos but he missed one. Thats 14 points gone and to add insult to injury i have siggi n hutton on the bench 🙁
Open Controls -
Just transferred Chambers out for PVA, thoughts?
Open Controls-
I think transfers should be made as late as possible unless one of the players will change in price.
What happens if one of your players gets injured tomorrow? you will have to take a hit.
PVA seems a better option than chambers though so its 4 pts to have a better team going forward so not all badOpen Controls -
Why rush it? 😕
Open Controls
-
At one point i had Austin, Puncheon and Naughton in my team but switched hahaha

What I've learnt from the GW so far:
4.0 defenders:
Moore is nailed. Wisdom should be safe while WBA have a few injuries at the back. Hutton looks nailed and the clean sheet will help his chances of staying in the team. Avoid Roberge (he'll be out when Jones/Vergini are fully fit). Avoid Bruce/McShane, neither are safe. Avoid Baird, who's nothing more than a squad player.
4.5 defenders:
PVA carries a strong attacking threat. Chester and Robertson are good options for Hull. Morgan is a big goal threat but doesn't warrant investment due to poor fixtures and Moore's cheaper price. Kelly is nailed for Crystal Palace. Vlaar did well but his fixtures turn sour soon. Wilson started for Stoke but Huth may take his place when he's fully fit. Amat was preferred to Bartley but will be out of the team when new signing Fernandez is match fit. I don't know how long Chambers will be in the Arsenal team, Mert should be back next week. Ferdinand got a BP in a losing team and could be good in a rotation (with Hull possibly).
Expensive midfielders:
Sanchez looks like he might need time to get used to his new team. Ramsey was impressive and is always lurking around the box. Selling Mata is a massive kneejerk - you bought him for his amazing fixtures in the first 8 weeks, don't let one blank put doubt in your mind. Lamela is still adjusting, Eriksen is probably a safer pick than him. If you own either of them, keep them. Don't get rid of either before they play QPR at home.
Sigurdsson:
He's a great option. Don't use him in a rotation (7/8 of his PL goals have come away from home). If you don't have him, try squeeze him in, he's excellent value and has good fixtures.Open Controls-
Thanks innsie, some good insights there and agree with your assessments
Open Controls -
Nice conclusion. And remember Cameron may be back ino contention. 😉
Open Controls -
-
ramsey is the new lampard in fpl terms
excellent round-up 🙂Open Controls -
Funny people feel they *should* rotate Sigurdsson b/c he's only £6mil... He was £7.8mil the last time he was a full time starter.
Open Controls-
He hasn't been a regular starter since his Swansea days...when he was £5.6m
Open Controls
-
-
Nice. What do you recommend doing with Giroud?
Open Controls-
That's a tough one ENR. I'll be surprised if he doesn't start against Everton, and they just conceded 2 against Leicester so he could be in the points. The 3rd striker spot is really difficult atm, but look closely at Rivière and Pelle tomorrow, if they look good then I'd expect them to do well since they both have great fixtures coming up.
Open Controls-
Perfect, thanks dude.
Open Controls
-
-
Nice. Agree with all other than Kelly and Rio. The incoming manager may not fancy him so to say he's nailed now is very short term. And as you know, I don't like QPR's defense at all.
Open Controls -
This is really helpful. Thanks.
Open Controls -
What do ye think about Naylor- Replaced early..
Any Swansea players at 4.5 or under nailed on?
Amat and Bartley are suspect.
Have Stoke and WBA as rotators- Swansea are supposed to be the perfect fit!Open Controls-
I'd be a little bit worried if I had Naylor, but the fact he was on a yellow card surely contributed to his substitution. I reckon he'll still be a starter but Tiendalli did well when he came on. Don't go with Amat or Bartley, trust me. Cough up 5m for Williams or hope Naylor retains his place.
Open Controls
-
-
Not sure Kelly is nailed. See my post 3 above yours
Open Controls-
I still think he's nailed. I guess it comes down to who the new manager is and his thoughts on the situation.
Open Controls

-
Anyone else worried about Neil Taylor? Plans?
Open Controls-
Should know more later in the week. His price is safe so will wait until we have some news about him and his place in team
Open Controls

On 55 with Silva and Costa to go
Open Controls -
Chambers out for Chester or PVA?
Open Controls -
Will Hazard be playing?

Anyone else got no liverpool players and crapping it about tomorrow?

Off to a cracking start. Rank 1222. Although if Liverpool go mental could drop like a stone
Costa Lovren Fabregas Jotevic to goOpen Controls-
Good stuff. That blog is doing great things for you.

yellow carded and Januzaj was giving him hell
Open Controls

ppl should just stop complaining abt benched points and be glad that they have the correct players.
Open Controls -
Feels strange not seeing any obvious transfers after GW1. Is it safe to stick with a back line of Lovren/Clyne/Chambers/Hutton/Bartley?
Open Controls-
Well you have two non-starters in Bartley and Chambers, so it needs to be addressed imo
Open Controls-
My thoughts too but won't it be better to wait for options to emerge? If I get a GW2 injury, two transfers would be more effective than 2 single transfers.
Open Controls
-
-
Mert back so chambers is at risk and Bartley not starting but shouldnt drop
Open Controls -
i would sae save a transfer to see what happen..u would have played lovren clyne hutton anyway.
take a look at newcastle defender they have a decent run of fixture from gw3 onwards..waiting until gw3 may allow u to see whether kelly, cameron are nailed on if u are interested in themOpen Controls

This has probably been discussed ages ago but why I've only really just started questioning why Krul is only 4.5m? Surely he should be a 5m? Played decently last season and his brief World Cup antics were promising,
Open Controls -
It would be soooooooo sweet to turn Liverhampton over tonight.........
Open Controls -
Poor Young owners,
expecting points but instead a bird shits in your mouth 😆Open Controls -
siggy C gw2 anyone?
Open Controls -
Henderson for Siggy done. Could not wait as Siggy is 80% to price rise.
Open Controls-
Lol next price rise is in like 20 hours
Open Controls -

I already have Sturridge and had Siggy in my team until the last minute.

I feel pretty silly not having Rambo but I almost got away with it. My question: has a box to box midfielder ever scored so well without any set pieces?
