Lamela to Siggy seems pretty obvious, right? Just wait and make sure Sterling doesn't get injured and be done with it.
Open Controls-
Yh. Lamela looked our most exciting player before he was subbed. Us having 10 men meant it became difficult for our attacking players.
Open Controls -
Before QPR at home?
Open Controls-
+1. Lamela looked happy to run at players, with QPRs slow defence, I would hope for points
Open Controls
-
-
Maybe not so obvious then. I agree that he looked pretty good. I was honestly quite surprised when he was subbed off. I really wanted Siggy from the start put I couldn't arrange a planned-early-wildcard team that I liked with him in it due to the fixtures. Now it seems like I really need to get him in before the price rise. Should I consider Sterling to Siggy?
Open Controls-
Difficult one because I can see Sterling rising 0.3 this week.
Siggy will be 7.5 by the mid October.Open Controls

Roberge started for Sunderland. Is he nail on for the near future?

er, "wow i just hate waking up to see that Man U lost on opening day. To Swansea. At home. I don't enjoy that at all."

My brother has Ki, triple Chelsea attack as well as Sturridge and Coutinho. I was laughing yesterday, not so much today.
Open Controls -
I think SOU if they can get past the opening salvo, could frustrate us today as a Pool fan. The manager has already said he is out to frustrate and make it difficult for us.
Saying that, I have Sturridge and if Liverpool score early, it could get messy.Open Controls

Can anyone see any transfers I need to make?
DDG
Terry Debuchy Caulker (Chester,Wisdom)
Mata Hazard Ramsey Siggy (Marney)
Rooney Costa Bojan
Save my FT or?
CheersOpen Controls-
I want to get on a bandwagon
Should i get chester in for PVA Arvin?Open Controls-
Nahh, PVA got a solid 4 points. Pretty decent, he looks pretty attacking. Not worth it to swap him out for Chester, chances are Chester won't bag another one in a while.
But then again.....Sunderland play United and Hull play Stoke at Home + Hull have one of the best home defences in the league........seems a little knee-jerky but could work!
Any other areas of your team that need work?Open Controls-
Krelliot
Cahill PVA Debuchy Moore Hutton
Hazard Davis Ramsey Siggy Marney
Holy Trinity
Maybe Davis is a weak starter, was hoping for a bandwagon 5m mid to replace him withOpen Controls-
Re-assess your team after everyone has played mate. You could always save your FT, could come in handy when the International break comes around.
Despite how it looks(knee-jerky), Hull have decent fixtures in the next 3, can see a Cleanie or two. Can't see the black cats keeping anyone out in the next 3.
I can't decide, I see your dilemma 🙂Open Controls-
Well maybe Hutton can come in and keep a totally unexpected Cleanie ala yesterday
Open Controls

-

-
-
Another poor soul with Bojan. Save FT since you cant get him out easily.
Open Controls -
How long will you persist with Bojan if he keeps failing.
Guess that the only real area of concern if other 3rd forwards are firing.Open Controls-
Considering he's a 5.5m forward who's going to be hard to shift unless I downgrade Mata--> Januzaj, or Hazard or something, he'll probably have a spot in my team for a few more weeks. Depends on how Stoke perform as a whole really, his stats aren't too bad, and he had 2 decent chances when I was watching the game for about 20 minutes.
I've got to keep him till GW4 though, purely for the fixtures.
CheersOpen Controls
-
-
I think save - I'm staying with Mata and Caulker. No need to change your team yet.
Open Controls-
Thanks mate
Open Controls
-
-
I wouldn't rush into any transfers but I've got DDG as well and way United were opened up quite a few times yesterday makes me think he's too expensive at 5.5m now.
Open Controls-
I think the same too....might give him a while longer though.
CheersOpen Controls

Anyone know why N. Taylor was subbed early second half yesterday? Purely tactical? Knock? Falling out of favour?
Open Controls -
That awkward moment when there are no transfers you want to make...I'm sure that'll change by tomorrow though 🙂
Open Controls-
Is it really that awkward?
I think its more of a blessingOpen Controls-

When you have the risers, you are going well.Open Controls -
It just feels wrong, normally GW1 is all about eyeing up targets and making big changes

The bright side of a Lidl/Aldi defense as I found yesterday is, when you have 4m players essentially just pick up their appearance points whilst you have another sitting on the bench with a CS, it does not frustrate so much, your paying peanuts and getting...
And on the other hand, allot of people with proper rotation strats got stung yesterday, which imo tends to happen in the very early season, it is a bit of a lottery really. Longer term, it'll work out i'm sure though, so hold the faith.
For now though, Bruce, Wisdom, Hutton, Duff and Ferdinand..i'm counting on you lads until the international break to show up to games at least :D. After that, they'll be shown the door for the most part i'd imagine..Open Controls-
Only issue is with a knock and such high ownership Bruce could drop in price and you don't really want a 3.9 def on the bench as you'll end up having to carry 0.4 in the bank to bring in a replacement.
That said I'm entirely with you on the value of a budget defence this early in the seasonOpen Controls-
Aye, Bruce if injured could be shown the door this week, would be a pity to waste a transfer on that, but it can happen to any player really. Hopefully my fellow lidl shoppers have greater priorities and don't use a transfer on a 4m player though! 🙂

What's the consensus on Chambers fellas? Had an ok game I thought, but with Mert due back I can't see him staying at CB for long (max 1 more week imo). Gibbs injury perhaps gives him a look at LB (or switching with Debuchy to RB).
Probably a case of keep him until dropped I guess.Open Controls-
-
Yeah, probably right.
Right to bench Chambers (eve) over these 3 though eh?
Terry (LEI)
Clyne (WBA)
Hutton (NEW)Open Controls

Sterling to get over 10 points today comfortably.
Lovren will also scoreOpen Controls -
Bet Sterling outscores Eriksen today. Another punt that goes wrong 😀
Open Controls-
he will but it's only GW1
Open Controls
-
-
So, who else had Sigurdsson as first sub yesterday then? I played Bojan instead. Ended up on 43 points though
Open Controls-
Me too. On the bright side, Austin didn't play so Siggy comes on as an auto sub

Any thoughts on why the RMT tool is still down for team picks? Thought it was due up at deadline time.

Plan for the season was to be more aggressive on the transfer front.
Young & Sturridge (if he flops) -> Eriksen & Bony/Dzeko (4 points) ?Open Controls-

Eriksen will come good I think and has Spurs have 4 decent fixtures in a row from an attacking perspective.
3 of the next 4 superb for Bony also.Open Controls

Transfers looking slow, assumed Siggy would have gone up last night.
Do we think he will still go up 0.3m?
I want my profit!
Hoping for a few from Chester too...Open Controls-
Don't think there have been price rises on Day 1 before.
0.3 for sure.
Chester is a 0.1 it seems at best.Open Controls-

Sigs will go up 0.1 tonight, and i expect 0.3 by next Saturday, so you'll cash in.
I think Dier and Chester will be next in line although maybe not 0.3.
I swore not to make any panic-buy, knee-jerk transfers this season, so Ive very calmly and rationally exchanged Mata for Sigurdsson and 3m, Damn!Open Controls
-
-
how did lamela play? why did he get taken off so early?
Open Controls-
We went down to ten. Something had to give. He looked pretty good though. I'd keep with qpr coming up.
Open Controls-
cheers
Open Controls

I thought he did alright, he was on the ball a fair bit but Spurs in general weren't penetrating the defence that easily. I'm guessing Poch just wanted to change things up a bit and up the tempo with Holtby coming on. Townsend did alright too when he came on for Lennon.
Open Controls-
thanks

Chambers to Chester on my FT
YES OR NOOpen Controls-
No. Wait. Better options around.
Open Controls -
Maybe or maybe not.
Open Controls -
Depends on what your defense looks like. Chester is a decent pick, but there's no reason to get him if your defense for next week is pretty good fixture-wise.
Open Controls -
Chambers is so short term. Just about justified to have him in your starting squad but don't waste a transfer on him.
Open Controls-
Chambo might only have got 1 point, but I was happy with how he played, and with Arsenal's injury record I can see him getting plenty game time early doors, so I'm definitely keeping him for now.
Open Controls
-
-
-
So it seems like I'm stuck with Foster (only playing GK) & Bruce in my team
Should I use any FT for any one of them? maybe Foster -> Krul or Bruce -> Chester ?Open Controls-
You might want to wait and see how Hull do in Eurovision on Thursday.

Guys and girls,
A) Who played the number 10 role for totenham yesterday?
B) what are people's thoughts on Mata, he didn't set the world alight for me yesterday? Or was he just having an off day, should I keep the faith?Open Controls-
http://members.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/matches/755312/ looks like Lamela
Open Controls -
I've just dumped Mata for Siggy. It dawned on me to take seriously Van Gaal's comments about taking 2 months to get his new teams purring. I was seduced by United's opening fixtures but now I'm thinking Rooney's the only one worth having until they sort themselves out.
Open Controls -
A) Eriksen, though Spurs are pretty free-from so Lamela was central a lot too.
B) I guess I'm keeping. The fixtures are just too good. Swansea really packed the middle, so he didn't have much opportunity.Open Controls
-
-
Keep Mata. On set pieces he will come good and if he doesn't its easy to downgrade.
