Sunday presents two further Premier League encounters with a variety of Fantasy heavy-hitters on show.

Events begin at Anfield, with Liverpool starting life without Luis Suarez with an encounter against a Southampton side ravaged by a summer exodus. It’s a fascinating scenario that’s set to feature an-all start case of assets, including Daniel Sturridge and Raheem Sterling – players burdened by big Fantasy ownership and expectation. The Saints, meanwhile, arrive on Merseyside looking to gel quickly after a flurry of new arrivals under the guidance of new boss, Ronald Koeman.

The day concludes at St James’ Park, as Newcastle host champions City. Manuel Pellegrini will likely field a much-changed side to the XI that suffered a Community Shield reverse against Arsenal. Even so, Fantasy investment in the City ranks has been tempered, with Yaya Toure remaining the top target, finding his way into 20% of Fantasy Premier League squads. Like Southampton, Newcastle present us with an array of new signings to assess, making Sunday a vital opportunity to scout talent.

      Do you expect Sterling to score 4 more at the Emirates than Mata at Sunderland? I imagine not, and even if Sterling triple rises, you can still afford the move for free next week.

          I had both Sterling/Sturr/Silva in my team on Friday. You win some and lose some. Dzeko was a let down as predicted, but if I sell him now he will prob go crazy vs Stoke.

          GW is Sterling/Sturr time.

      Crazy. I know it's hard, but you've gotta remember that it was only one game. Mata scored plenty last season playing out of position and for a David Moyes team. I have total faith he'll come good

      Here. I'm holding onto him. Rodgers got the tactics wrong today and he looked rusty having only returned to last week. But he is the focal point of the attack and I can't see him playing as poorly in future.

    45 with terry costa to play, before bonus. Have to be happy ! Think that'll be 29 for sterling and captain sturridge. Lucky though because i don't expect sterling to score every week. The pass by henderson was too good.

      It's ok to do early in the season to get your team right then you can make one transfer a week depending on player form, matchups, double game weeks, etc.

      If you don't have the right players you have to get them. It's knee jerky, but if a player rises 0.1 at this stage of the game it's basically equivalent to a rise in 0.5.
