With Gameweek 1 concluded, itβs time to delve a little deeper into the data in our first “Big Numbers” article for members of the campaign. We analyse the display of Arsenalβs new wide man against Palace, the QPR front pairing at home to Hull, Liverpoolβs ever-improving youngster, Southamptonβs delivery under Ronald Koeman and Unitedβs weekend scorer in the 2-1 home loss to Swansea.
These price rises are getting on my nerves lol
Open ControlsWould Man U fans like them to make a move for Agger and/or Vlaar?
Open ControlsI'm not a United fan, but Vlaar can play in that system, he's decent, so why not?
Open ControlsPlus, he's much better than Blackett.
Open ControlsWhat's with that face?
Open Controls
No, unless they were cover, in which case meh
Open ControlsPool won't sell Agger to United, Vlaar should have gone weeks ago
Open ControlsNever Agger, Vlaar yes!
Open ControlsRONCRETE is the most sensible buy on the planet, all we're doing is chasing big names to flatter the fans.
Open ControlsHe's worse than every CB we have including Blackett.
Open ControlsNo, he's not.
Open ControlsCentral with Rojo left and Jones right side i think you'd be much more solid. I think what united fans need to realise is though is that they're not going to even become 'good' again over night, never mind what they were over night.
If the fans don;t have patience and they just splash cash on big names it will take a long time to recover.Open ControlsThis is why we should go for sensible buys rather than outrageous ones.
I class Rojo as sensible fwiw.Open Controls
Not a united fan, but Vlaar would be a better signing for them than hold it... Di Maria, by far. If they pay 50mil for Di Maria, well what can i say, it would be shocking business.
Vlaar would also be there best defenderOpen ControlsNo way Di Maria will be bought at 50 M if they wouldn't cough it up for Vidal

Repost:
Team:
DDG, Krul
Terry, Debuchy, C.Davies, PVA, Moore
Sterling, Mata, Siggy, Ramsey, Mutch
Bojan, Costa, Rooney.
Thinking of doing the popular Mata to Fabregas, not too keen on triple United with their shaky start.
Agreed? πOpen ControlsPull the trigger.
Open Controls
be that stat as it may, Sanchez is greedy and wasteful (thus far)
Open ControlsI think Bony would be a better shout
Open Controls
Guys, give me a good 4.5 Mill def to transfer in for Naughton please..
Open Controlsit can, I am mulling over what to do. There is no transfer I really want to do other wise my team is:
Begovic - Caulker, Van Aanholt, Cahill - Silva, Sterling, Mata, Ramsey - Rooney, Bojan, Diego Costa
Bench > Gilks, Wisdom, Albrighton Naughton
The other obvious move is finding some way to get Siggy in - downgrade Cahill and upgrade Albrighton, but I dont think I should go into next few weeks without a Che defender. Other option ofc is Silva> Siggy...
OR, I can roll the transfer over. But I need to ship him out now, because of price drop and by the time hes back Walker will be on the verge of returningOpen Controls
Chester and make 0.1 if you do it tonight. Van Aanholt.
Open Controls*and avoid Naughton's price drop.
Open Controls
Kelly, Chester, van Aanholt

Yes? No?Open ControlsYes. Can't see Spurs bangin em in even with fixtures
Open Controls
Take a -4 hit?
DDG & Luis -> Cortois & Clyne + 4.0Open Controls+ 0.5?

Don't know if this has been mentioned, but Courtois signs a five year deal after he was "confirmed no 1 keeper"

Open ControlsTonight is in option actually.
Open Controls
Better cheap middy for the short term: JWP, Ince or Tadic?
Open ControlsGW 2 team:
Bego
Terry Caulker Hutton
Fabs Eriksen Ramsey Sterling Siggy
Rooney Costa
Another power 5 emerging?Open Controlsdefinite price drop if he blanks again
Open ControlsIt's happening this week already me thinks π
Open Controls
I'm not. About to post a very good explanation about why you should be happy to keep!
Open ControlsQuickly.... Every second you delay another Mata owner dies.
Open Controls
0-0 a good result for Arsenal?
Open ControlsVargas going to QPR, sweet.
Would like the look of him as an OOP prospect if he gets listed in midfield. Hope he gets listed at 5.5 or 6.0Open ControlsThat would be generous. Likelier to be a 6.5 forward, I'd say.

The biggest thing I learnt last season (my 1st of doing FPL properly) is that unnecessary transfer hits was the difference between a top 50k finish and the top 150k finish I got..... Astounding really.
Nows the thought of whether to utilise my FT to gain some TV or not.
My 2 on 'thin ice' are obviously Young & Bojan.... My only 2 punts.... But can't see anything worthwhile to transfer to and there benchers for GW2 anyway.
I guess on the watchlist (not this week) could be Mata to Sterling bit feel the need to hold onto mata at least another week (despite the nasty swing on TV this could give)
A thought I have is caulker to Chester as Chester is rising in price and the £'s are important (esp if I want kun in at some point). Could even go wisdom to Chester......
Or do I just stick?
Thoughts of gaining value tempt me but one things for sure..... No hitsOpen ControlsSterling is tempting but away against City next he could well blank. I'd keep Mata, though I myself an tempted to transfer Mata to Fab despite having Haz…
Wisdom to Chester could be a decent transfer. Wouldn't get rid of Caulker yet, you probably brought him in for attacking threat as I did and he still has some decent fixtures ahead and had a shot cleared off the line at the weekend.Open ControlsCaulker is one I wish I hadn't gone with GW1. Wasn't convinced, but got caught up in the hype. Would really like to get Clyne for him.
Open ControlsI think caulker will come good to be fair.
Do like clyne though.
I'm just thinking TV for KunOpen Controls
See I already have Fab to be fair thank god. Your right though, caulker was in for a reason.
Wisdom to Chester maybe. But will Chester get the 0.2 rise otherwise it's no benefit to my tv lol.Open Controls
I always take hits and have finished 2k, 3k last two seasons. I lost young for siggy and debuchy for clyne this week
Open ControlsYou must do it better than me then lol. I was very rookie last year and took silly hits on pointless bandwagons.
Lot more sensible this year (I hope)Open Controls
Ooh just check my points
I got a 69 this week πOpen ControlsBego
Caulker Chester PvA
Haz Mata Ramsey Siggy
Costa Dzeko Roo
Bench: Elliot, Chambers, Wisdom, El Ahmadi
0.5m ITB
Already made my transfer this week to bring Siggy in. Need to resist the pull to take hits and build team value, right?Open ControlsYeah, you win by points. Not value.
Open ControlsDoes help a lot though if you're in a strong position after first few weeks. Just going to have to take the risk of Mata/Haz dropping and Fab/Sterling rising.
The real transfer I want to do is Chambers to Clyne but I'll just have to hope Clyne doesn't rise and then get him in at the weekend.Open Controls
He's had a bad game, have you seen the state of the pitch?
Get over itOpen Controls
Dzeko / Jovetic analysis in this article is why statistics can only get you so far...
Anyone who watched the game will have seen that Dzeko and Jovetic's performances were night and day. Dzeko was confident on the ball, held up play well, linked with midfielders, and provided the spark of creativity for the first goal.
Jovetic was by no means poor, but his decision making in the final third was not excellent, and most of his shots were blocked as it was clear to every fan in the stadium, everyone watching on TV, and even Newcastle's slow footed defenders when he was about to pull the trigger. (He also had 2-3 shots similarly blocked in the Community Shield against Arsenal). He is certainly a talent but there is no question that Dzeko was the better performer on the day and will be the reliable striker partner for Aguero this weekend against Liverpool.Open ControlsI think Alexis is finding out that it is quite a difference to have Giroud running next to you rather than Messi.
Open ControlsBecause Messi's rubbish in the air.
