Siem de Jong is available for Newcastle’s trip to Aston Villa. Antonio Valencia and Jonny Evans join Robin van Persie in returning to full training for United. Mikel Arteta is ruled out of Arsenal’s trip to Everton. Marc Albrighton could return for Leicester’s clash with Chelsea at the Bridge, whilst Palace and West Ham have doubts in defence as the pair prepare to square up at Selhurst Park.

Newcastle have been boosted by the return of Siem de Jong from injury, with Alan Pardew confirming that the summer signing will be in the squad to face Aston Villa. Meanwhile, Cheick Tiote is will miss out once more with a hamstring injury, though Pardew has revealed that the midfielder has started running outside, as he works towards taking part in full training.

Manchester United could welcome back Antonio Valencia for the trip to Wearside, with the winger having returned to training this week. Reports confirm both Jonny Evans and Robin van Persie were also back in full training yesterday.

Arsene Wenger has conceded that Mikel Arteta will miss the weekend clash with ex-club Everton, after the midfielder sprained his ankle in midweek. Wenger also suggested that he “will check” whether the German contingent of Per Mertesacker, Mesut Ozil and Lukas Podolski are available for selection ahead of the trip to Goodison Park.

James Tomkins has added to Sam Allardyce’s concerns at the back, with the central defender a doubt to face Crystal Palace after missing the opener due to injury.

Crystal Palace’s caretaker boss Keith Millen could be without Scott Dann for the weekend, with the defender rated as having an outside chance to face West Ham. Dann will undergo further assessment today, though the Eagles boss could welcome back Adrian Mariappa to the squad after injury. Jonny Williams is fit again and available for selection, whilst Jerome Thomas could also be in contention to feature.

Nigel Pearson is hopeful that Jamie Vardy and Marc Albrighton will be in the squad to face Chelsea, with the pair taking part in full training during the week. However midfielders Danny Drinkwater and Matty James look set to miss the trip to Stamford Bridge through injury, though Pearson suggests the duo “aren’t far away” from a return.

Saints boss Ronald Koeman has revealed that Gaston Ramirez will miss the weekend visit of West Brom with a groin injury. Koeman will also assess the fitness of new defender Florin Gardos before deciding whether or not to include him in the squad to face the Baggies – the centre-half missed out last weekend due to a hamstring problem.

West Brom boss Alan Irvine has confirmed every player aside from Joleon Lescott finished full training yesterday, with the likes of Gareth McAuley and James Morrison returning to action after missing the home draw against Sunderland last time around.

It says 'Mackay and Moody were informed of Cardiff's possession of the [offensive] text messages' and that 'Under FA rules, Cardiff are required to report any matters which may constitute ‘aggravated misconduct’.

So Cardiff have basically dumped their manager in the s*** when they could have just kept it to themselves (or just have had a quiet word in his ear). 😐

  Though arguably it would have been worse if they'd waited for him to get the Palace job. Then Palace AND Mackay would be in the s***.
  
  Also, I think it's really important that it wasn't kept to themselves, though I agree the timing was tactical to inflict pain. This kind of behaviour needs to be publicly tackled and Mackay is right to have his career in tatters if the allegations are true.

I'll be keeping my eye on the top two. It's hard to compare Bojan to the rest after one game, so I think comparing him to other players in the Stoke v Villa game is probably more relevant at this stage. Not suggesting he's great by any means, but better than I thought. 😉

    Neither. I changed it because I don't want people recognising that im a user of FFS. And it just happens to be something I used to say everytime I would cook food in a tacky french accent. "I am le chef" makes no sense at all i know, but at the time I couldn't think what to change it to other than my FPL team name.
    
    Appreciate the feedback. Ive got sterling in already so Ill keep as is and play bojan ahead of hutton. (got a feeling caulker could do something special).

With Luis at 90% (price drop) I reckon us owners will just about survive a price drop tonight, it'll be close mind... Hopefully, by 2/3am tomorrow (the cut off point roughly) he'll still be at 6.0 & by 2pm we'll know if he's starting...

  I'd be tempted to downgrade Sanchez to Ramsey. Whilst I do think Sanchez will do well, I don't think he'll do better than Ramsey to the sound of 1.5m. I reckon that money could be better spent elsewhere. Up front perhaps.

How I see the Chelsea game ending:

Chelsea 3 - 0 Leicester

Goals: Hazard, Costa, Schurrle
Assists: Cesc x2, Schurrle

Fully expect there to be a few goals but I don't think anyone is going to steal the show (fpl wise), all Chelsea players should reward their owners.. But I don't think any of them are going to explode, so I think there could be other captaincy options..

Tadic, Siggy, Eriksen/Lamela, Rooney, Mata, RVP, Bony

All potential differential options, each of them capable of a big score and with the exception of the United lads, these guys should grab the most points from their respective teams as they're some of the focal points attacking-wise.
