We target a trio of players with plum home matches on their agendas this weekend in our attempt to get the better of Paddy.

Our first stop is at Selhurst Park as Neil Warnock prepares for the first home match of his second stint at the helm. Having grabbed a late equaliser off the bench in the last Gameweek, Wilfried Zaha looks poised for a start as Palace entertain promoted Burnley, and with Paddy offering 8/1 on Zaha to score and the hosts to keep a clean sheet, we’re willing to throw £3 their way.

Next up we head to St Mary’s, where Ronald Koeman’s side go in search of their first home win of the season. The Saints’ 3-1 victory at West Ham in the previous Gameweek certainly suggests they are finding their form, and with a goal in each of his last two in all competitions, Graziano Pelle has caught the eye. Paddy are offering 16/1 on Pelle to score two or more against Newcastle and the Saints to chalk up a second clean sheet in succession in front of their own supporters – we fancy a punt on this one and shell out another £3.

We leave our final £4 for Liverpool’s Anfield clash with Villa. The absence of Daniel Sturridge will be sorely felt by the Merseysiders and instantly hands Mario Balotelli the chance to shine in front of his own supporters – with Paddy willing to offer 6/1 on Balotelli to score two or more goals and Brendan Rodgers’ side to bag a clean sheet, we place our faith in the Italian and make this our bet of the week.

Register and Bet £10 And Get £20 Free

If you’re new to Paddy Power, you can take up any of these odds and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up on this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

I almost brought him back in myself WR. He's still a great little player, with the obvious concern being no idea how all this lot fit in.

I would be concerned that City rock up with 4-5-1.

This formation hampers the forward runs of the midfield, which Arsenal thrive on, leaving them vulnerable to pacy counterattacks. I would be concerned that Dzeko is a 30 minute man this week, although I do see City getting a result, so he may get some points.

Falcao starting likely means Mata is benched. I think this would crush his confidence greatly, at a time when it appears he is not full of confidence. I am not sure LVG would intentionally do this. Therefore I would pick Rooney.

For me RVP, the stats speak for themselves and his relationship with LVG is great for a player who needs to be loved. Getting the best out of his national captain is something I fully expect to happen, it just takes a little time in my opinion.

    Ok darlings,

I'm gravitating towards Rooney, Sanchez and Jovetic out, Mirallas, Balotelli and Falcao in with a 4 point hit.

    That gives me:

    Krul
    Cahill Azpilicueta Bruce
    Hazard Ramsey Sigurdsson Mirallas JWP
    Falcao Balotelli

    Guzan Bojan Moore Debuchy

And then I just need to pick a captain.

          - I would be concerned about Bruce starting, which gives you a bad matchup from the bench.
-I think it is a week to early for Falcao, but I am not certain of this, I just think there is more overall benefit for LVG to bring him on from the bench in his first game.
          - You have 2 Chelsea defenders and a Swansea attacker. This is counterintuitive.
          - I think Sanchez out is a good move, I have done this myself this week, but to me Sterling seems better than Mirallas .

Balotelli short term (when Sturridge is injured Balo will be the focal point of the attack), aguero long term (a few hard matches coming up and 3 away games in 4, so I would wait until GW7 at least).
