The Scoreboard presents the Fantasy Premier League information you need from the day’s matches all on one screen, including the current top five BPS (Bonus Point System) standings from each match (potential Bonus Point earners are in bold). Actual Bonus Points will be shown when added – all points are provisional until then.

Gameweek 4

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Sigh!

My FPL team is in such a mess. And I need to find some motivation to start playing FPL seriously.

Still hungover from last night's show from our boys. Diego Costa, you lovely lovely man.

Well, sorry to burst your bubble (and well done for choosing him) but mathematically speaking this captain choice has cost you points vs 47 percent of the top 10k players who had costa (c).
Me with sterling (c) can only be jealous, but still in a wierd way a great punt backfired because of costa.

Not surprised. Personally I captained Tadic who got 6 points and was unlucky not to get more. He's becoming something of an FPL points-avoider like David Silva which is annoying. Considering moving for Pelle, but having Clyne-Tadic-Pelle would surely be too much?

There's nothing called too much, but they have some awesome fixtures to follow. If I were in your position, I'd look to get Pelle now and ship Tadic in game week 8 when the Saints play Spurs at the WHL

All this nonsense about the price changes being the cause of the massive template is ignoring the very base of the matter. Nearly ALL of the current template were VERY highly owned in GW1...

    Player –––––– GW1 % –––– Current %

    Sterling –––––– 39.1 ––––––– 47.8
    Fábregas –––– 29.1 ––––––– 42.6
    Ramsey ––––– 44.5 ––––––– 42.4
    Sigurdsson ––– 12.5 ––––––– 38.7
    Hazard –––––– 23.2 ––––––– 15.9

    Diego Costa –– 44.1 ––––––– 49.2
    Rooney –––––– 53.6 ––––––– 35.5
    Naismith ––––– 9.3 –––––––– 33.8
    Sturridge ––––– 34.9 ––––––– 16.3

P.S. Due to new teams that are created not counting in the transfers in/out metrics on FPL the GW1 ownership will be slightly inflated (Siggy was around 7% and you'd imagine he's owned by just about every new team, so max 5% overinflated)

Bar Siggy and Naismith who, due to their bargainous prices, have received a massive influx of new owners (This would've happened regardless of price change system), most of the players were already massively owned (the highest owned players in the game if my memory serves me correctly).

The template is merely the preseason template that has performed well. They would still be the template even if prices were rising faster, simply because the vast majority of their current owners already had them.

    1.8m in the bank.
    1ft,

    Lamela, Sterling, Ramsey, Sigurdsson, Marney
    Rooney, Costa, Welbeck.

Would you save transfer and switch Fabs in for Lamela after next GW or just make that move now or do something else?

Lamela played well again yesterday and may do some damage to WBA.
Fabs is more consistent and will rise in price a good bit probably.
Should I wait another week to consider or just go ahead and switch??

    Ivan - Clyne - Naylor
    Sterling - ADM - Fab - Siggy
    Naismith - Costa - Kun

    McCarthy, Boyd, Pieters, Moore
    0.1 in bank

Any pressing issues with the front 7? If not I might use the FT for Pieters -> Chambers seeing as Debuchy is going to be out for sometime.

    Or save FT?

Fairly Ok Week for me so far. on 50 Points.

Since Debuchy is injured and its looking pretty bad, how does changing him for Dier sound?
My backline consists of Debuchy, Clyne, Wisdom, O'Shea, Coloccini.

Also thinking of captaining Costa from now on if Rooney doesn't perform tomorrow.

    Begovic - Myhill
Terry - Clyne - van Aanholt - Wisdom - Bruce
    Ramsey - Mata - Sterling - Sigurdsson - Marney
    Rooney - Balotelli - Adebayor

    Bank: 0.6m

    WC team will be:

    Forster - Gilks
Clyne - Taylor - van Aanholt - Wisdom - Moore

Liverpool couldn't keep a clean sheet against Aston Villa AT HOME, but they could score 4 goals and let none in against Tottenham AWAY.

Chelsea definitely have the ability to keep clean sheets. Just look at last season. Mou knows how to tighten up at the back.

Can I afford to ignore Ivanovic any longer considering how high up the field he was playing at Swansea? Even if he concedes, big points to be had.

I went for Baines instead, although Ivanovic is the bigger goal threat. Baines has the better assist potential and clean sheet potential. Don't forget he has pens in his locker too

              EVE: CPL, liv, mun,

              CHE: mci, AVL, ARS

I'd say their chances of keeping a clean sheet up to GW 8 are about equal, tbh.

Yes, I'm getting Terry out this week...was gonna get Baines....had another look at the stats and nope Ivanovic on top.

Baines does have set pieces, but he can come in GW8, Ivan for now. I'll post a coupla tables in a bit.

Not to be a knobhead but Ivanovic actually has equal assist potential ATM, and Everton aren't exactly solid atb.( Conceded 6 against Chelsea at home ).

You can check the stats mate 🙂

Ivan owns him in case of goal threat, Baines owns him in the case of assist potential

Don't forget he has pens as well... Better fixtures to follow too!

            http://members.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/my-stats-tables/view/5989/

Sort by chances created. Pretty much equal assist potential, Ivanovic's goal threat is far superior though.

Of course, set pieces are on Baines side though.

I think you're failing to take into account that Chelsea have already faced the likes of Burnley,Leicester and Swansea. Those Baines stats considering that he has faced Everton and Arsenal are immense to say the least! You also need to have a look at touches (final third) to have a look at who has the better assist potential 🙂

                True...

You can get as far up the pitch as you want, still have to actually create the chance to get an assist though.

    Mannone McCarthy

I think it is also worth pointing out that Chelsea scrapped their way to a 1-0 win over Swansea last season. My point being that, this season Chelsea are a completely different team, much more attacking and hence this season has no co-relation to the one before it 🙂

    RMT:

    Ivan - Clyne - Naylor
    Sterling - ADM - Fab - Siggy
    Naismith - Costa - Kun

    McCarthy, Boyd, Pieters, Moore

movement and link up was decent, but he still lacks ruthlessness when finishing and alot of the time he looks more of a hard working no10 looking to bring players into the game than a true no9. So I dont think he is going score a bucketload, better captain options
