As always on a Monday afternoon, we scour the Premier League treatment rooms to assess the players who picked up injuries over the weekend action.

Arsenal
Mathieu Debuchy was forced off with an ankle injury in Saturday lunchtime’s draw with City. Arsene Wenger is set to address the press later today amid fears the Frenchman could be sidelined for months.

Burnley
The Clarets’ forward Danny Ings was subbed off with a hamstring problem in the weekend draw at Palace, while Matty Taylor missed out altogether due to injury, allowing George Boyd to make his debut on the left of midfield.

Chelsea
Didier Drogba missed the Blues’ home win over Swansea after injuring an ankle during training.

Crystal Palace
Neil Warnock confirmed Joe Ledley sustained a hip injury in the Palace dugout and was unable to take to the field against Burnley. The Palace boss also revealed Wilfried Zaha was lucky to make the match after picking up an ankle injury in training.

Everton
Sylvain Distin missed the Toffees’ win at West Brom due to a dead leg, though Roberto Martinez confirmed earlier today that the defender is on course to feature against Wolfsburg in the Europa League on Thursday.

Leicester
Foxes number one Kasper Schmeichel missed Saturday’s win at Stoke after sustaining a minor knee problem on international duty with Denmark.

Stoke
The Potters’ left-back Erik Pieters was forced off with an unspecified injury in the latter stages of Saturday’s home loss to Leicester.

Swansea
Jordi Amat is set for knee scans after picking up a problem in the weekend loss to Chelsea – the defender left Stamford Brigde with his leg in a brace.

Tottenham
Jan Vertonghen was omitted from the weekend trip to Sunderland after picking up a minor muscle injury.

West Brom
Stephane Sessegnon was ruled out of the weekend home loss to Everton after sustaining an eye injury in training.

    Mourinho on Costa's injury:
    “Diego was a risk and a doubt before Everton, a risk and a doubt before Spain, a risk and a doubt before this Swansea game and he played all three games. He is a risk and a doubt again for next Wednesday because of an accumulation of matches, but nobody can stop him.

    “I tried to rest him, I tried to be sure. To be 100 per cent sure, but he goes on. He is a fantastic character. If the injury is a clear injury of course he will not play, but when the doubt is there and he has not the best feelings, but he feels he can play, he goes on.”

    With 1 Ft and lots of coin in the bank I am tempted to get baines in a couple GWs before the fixture get better..... my def seems a mess atm. Is this madness, as I have no other pressing issues right now? I can do Caulker to Baines with 0 in the bank after it's done.

    @ UCL: Re: Uchida. I follow the Bundesliga quite closely and several of my friends agree that Clemens at the back was a debacle for Schalke this weekend so Uchida should start again.
    In general a much better player.

    In any case that is my opinion.

    Opinions?

    A: Save transfer
    B: Sell Terry: Probably Bertrand, maybe Wilson/PVA/Naylor, or even Baines
    C: Sell Albrighton for Chadli, bench Hazard this week. Throws off the balance a little bit, but I kinda like it... Especially if I end up wildcarding in the next couple weeks, which might be necessary with Silva/Hazard misfiring.

    I currently have Terry-Debuchy-Wisdom-Caulker-Moore

    I am in a 82 person private league currently in first by 6 points with 1 FT and 1.4 in the bank. I am thinking about dumping Terry for Baines at-least for this week for a quick punt because I believe Baines has a great chance to score big against CP. Would dropping Terry for him not be a smart move instead of dropping Debuchy since he will be out for awhile? I can still start Caulker(home against Stoke) and Wisdom against Tottenham which might be a tad tough, or should I swap out Debuchy for Clyne or Betrand? Thoughts please!

      Sanchez seems to take most set pieces with Ozil/Cazorla as a left foot alternative. Arteta on pens when playing. Ozil/Giroud took pens when he wasn't playing. Ozil missed his last one though from memory.

      RVP in pens for utd. Unless Falcao may change that though
