We delve into the Gameweek 5 data this evening in our first members article of the week. Wayne Rooney’s new role for United comes under analysis, as do Burnley and Leicester’s displays up front, whilst a couple of north London-based frontmen are also placed under the microscope after their contrasting weekend performances.

Sanchez to ADM for a hit?
Yay or the naaaay-
nayyyyyyyyy
-
Absolutely not.
-
nay
-
-
Ramsey and Adebayor ---> Di Maria and Pelle (-4)
Think it's worth it? Or is the consensus moving to Ulloa?-
Ade->Pelle for free imo
-
Pelle adm
-
Nope
-
See above re NLD
-
Cheers guys. I think I'll probably just go Ade to Pelle for now.And ruminate over ADM for the rest of the week!

-
Sorry to rain on your parade, but I'm serious.
-
-
-
ADM
-
only reason to shit your pants is if they get like a 15-20 pointer which is very unlikely, 10 pointers are manageable with your replacement
-
So you don't have adm then?
-
no
-
Lol
-
I will come back to you after the weekend lol, his flukey points will stop
-
-

Is Ballotelli to Costa for a FT a good move or should I focus on getting JWP out?
-
get Costa in at any Cost(a)
-
As I thought. Thanks.
-
-
-
Has Total FPL sorted itself out yet? Don't want to be caught by a surprise ADM rise.
-
it has not
-
-
When is the international break?
-
between gw7 and 8
-
2Gw away and another internation in another 4 GW
-
Between GW7 & GW8.
-
Thanks lads
-
-
Rooney/Naismith/Abrighton -> Pelle/Ulloa/ADM worth -4?
Would leave..
Gilks / Krul
Duff / Ivanovic / Clyne / Moore / Caulker
Fábregas / Ramsey / Di María / Sterling / Siggy
Costa / Pellè / Ulloa-
Looks good! Could even Pelle skipper for saturday !
-
-
Got 2 FT's and 0.3 ITB, anything I need to change?
http://imgur.com/xImywRj-
Great team! Sell begovic perhaps...
-
-
Ok, finally after looking at all the discussions today and my own posts it looks like Pelle over Welbeck is the consensus
Thanks for your help xx-
For now I'd say so. I've been considering having both come GW8
-
-
Naismith -> Ulloa for a hit...Yes or No ?
Ulloa has both form and fixtures on his side-
No way
-
any particular reason mate...he has 2 tough away fixtures and now with Eto'o and Kone back he's gametime is also not assured of
-
-
no
-
Maybe if Naismith is benched again
Depends on your subs I guess-
subs not that good...Boyd, Moore & Wisdom/naylor
-
Of course , it makes sense... Naismith may not play or just play 20 minutes, and loses a tenth in value, Etoo on the job and is looking just fine. . Ulloa has a great set of games over next six weeks. Don't think of it as a one week move..
Naismith is yesterday's flavor and eliminated from the WATCHLIST. Naismith plays deeper ala Rooney and really isn't a striker, but a playmaker. the only thing going for Naismith is that he is playing two weak-as*ed defenses in the next two weeks. Liverpool and Man U. ... but then he faces AVL... tough d.-
TA... DAAAAA!!!!!
-
-
-
-
Which transfer would you make?
A) Krul -> Forster
B) Balotelli -> Aguero
I think Aguero could get a few against Hull but his gametime is a bit of a risk. Balotelli and Liverpool have been inconsistent but they play against the leagues worst defence.
Krul and Newcastle are a liability and Southampton have some great fixtures coming up.
Which is more pressing??-
B
-
-
I think that I will get Downing.
-
shocking
-
afk. Cooking.
-
Already got him. 😉
-
Outrageous
-
Looking at his stats and after watching a few West Ham games I'm considering this. He's cheap and when in an attacking team can really produce (was great in his last season at the Villa)
-
Thinking the same.
-
Already in on that one. I love seeing a high-scoring hammer in my team.
-
Stay off the booze Doos.
-
Great move. New role in centre.
-
-
Which one to start
A) Naismith
B) ulloa-
coin toss
-
Ulloa, fixtures and form
-
Ulloa is their main striker.
-
-
balo and moreno owners, what are you doing with them?
-
Keeping Moreno for a bit. Decent fixtures coming up, hoping for some attacking returns.
-
I'm wondering about Balo (check above). I'm thinking of possibly giving him the next two weeks (Everton the leagues worst defence and WBA at home).
I wouldn't touch Liverpool's defence personally-
i have him myself Villan, done my changes last night and kept him in. Like you say Everton shipping goals, usually a few in the merseyside derby and he likes a goal in the big games, also Danny S back to help followed by West Brom
-
Yeah I'm thinking of keeping too then possibly switching to Welbeck GW8. He's been a little frustrating to own but I did get him with these fixtures in mind. And your right he looked much better as part of a 2 with Sturridge
-
-
-
Out for Lescott.
-
I did Balo > Pelle yesterday, and plan to keep Moreno. Based on your earlier message, our teams are nearly identical.
-
-
18.4 mins per shot is irrelevant. Shots on Target are what count.
-
Someone tell Andros Townsend
-
-
Will baines go up this week?
-
It says protected on totalfpl but they know nothing atm!
-
Probably. He has a dream fixture this weekend.
-
Does he?
-
-
-
Taking Lamela out, now if he gets a brace against Arsenal I'm going to delete my account
-
You most certainly will not 😉
-
Tongue firmly in cheek so no need to bookmark 😉 😀
-
-
-
2 FTs burning a hole in my fantasy pocket.
Naismith + Lovren > ?
A) Ulloa + Bertrand
B) Welbeck + Wisdom
Cheers guys.-
probably b
-
-
Lucy still on? My Soton fan friend reckons they're moving toward 3 CBs with Clyne and Bertrand out wide. Is that right?
-
Doubt it, Koeman seems like a 4-3-3 sort of guy.
-
Got to 2nd place. Dont really want to be mucking about with the system now
-
-
You mean tomorrow, right?
-
In general I think he meant
-
Hm, can't see why, alderweireld will be ok for the weekend and they've been doing well both attacking and defensively.
-
-
-
This is very much possible. Koeman was the one that introduced the system to Dutch football, during the second half of last season at Feyenoord and started playing a 3-5-2/5-3-2 system which was eventually taken by Louis van Gaal and used in the Dutch national team.
-
Mmmm, Got history then
-
Wouldn't he need 3 cb's for that?
-
Hasnt he got 3 now after the Jan window? Dont ask me the names
-
True, forgot about the one playing last game...hmmm. Could happen with Mane coming in.
-
-
Mhm. Yoshida, Fonte and Alderweireld.
-
And Gardos.
-
-
-
-
-
Who would you give the armband to this week?
Aguero (hull) - if he starts, he can cause explosions but a rotation risk for the upcoming CL fixture.
Pelle (QPR) - Great form and QPR is leaky
Balotelli (EVE)- Has played enough to adapt to PL and just like Pelle can start scoring anytime and this fixture always promise goals-
Pelle I reckon even over costa
-
Play safe.....Costa
-
Sorry you don't have him, Pelle out of those 3
-
-
Costa but out of those options Aguero
-
I don't see Costa anywhere in the names I mentioned
-
Maybe ita time you should!!!
-
Mate, I have 2 FT.
I can do Balo and Lovren to Naylor and Costa. But feeling like keeping Balo for this week. What you say?-
That looks good to me, Liverpool can't defend and Naylor offers good CS potential, Costa is head and shoulders above balo,
-
-
-
-
Pelle
-
-
Somebody give me the jist of this article quick! In a hurry.
-
having seen adebayor's match stats i'm convinced he was drugged before the game and demand a refund
-
2 free. can hopefully afford a vanity trade...
Rooney -> Falcao
Wilson/Taylor -> Moore
?
[surprised at Rooney easily beating Falcao in the comparison tool from Sun] -
A) Shall i downgrade Lovren to Bertrnd and get another keeper?
B) Any other suggestions please?
Heaton / 4
Baines, Azpilicueta, Lovren, Chambers,Moore
ADM, Fabregas, Sterling, Siggy , Ramsey
Costa, Naismith, Welbeck
Thanks-
Money ITB and FTs left?
-
wildcard team no money left
-
-
Rooney and Lamela (Save FT) or ADM and Pelle (-4)
-
Current Team:
A)
Heaton - Krul
Ivanovic - Taylor - Clyne - Coloccini - Wisdom
Sterling - Sigurdsson - Fabregas - Ramsey - Schneiderlin
Costa - Rooney - Pelle
or (Ramsey-
Should I do Ramsey
-
or Ramsey ---> ADM & Rooney ---> Wellbeck?
-
A 🙂
-
-
Could anyone take out some time to view my GF team that i have ended up running as expected lol. let me know how i can improve the WC. your input is valuable 🙂
Mannone
Mangela , chambers clyne, Duff, Moore
sterling Di Marie Sanchez Fabs Siggy
Ulloah Costa Pelle
I know i am going to have a benching nightmare and i will listen to ideas
Not sure to pick Sanchez or Hazard?
Would love Aguero and ivanovic but cant fit them in 🙁-
You want us to help out with your team so u can get laid? LOL
-
lol no take more than that . we have agreed to go halves on any money i make . which is good for me
-
-
-
A) Baines, Ulloa, Aguero
B) Ivan, Welbz, Rooney -
Anyone else thinking its time to drop Siggy
-
Already have.
-
-
In a Draft League and currently have Bony but he's been utterly worthless. Replacement options:
Vardy, Valencia/Sakho, Hernandez, Cisse, Campbell
Leaning toward one of the first 2 options but slim pickings... Should I drop or hold?-
Hold
-
Cheers! Was panicking about suspension but the League Cup came to the rescue.
