Actual Bonus Points will be shown when added – all points are provisional until then.

Pointless when Baines is the premium defender to have very soon. I'm ridding of Ivan GW8

It's important for me as I bought him at 7.1m.

Repost from last page. Any advice on how to improve on this team. Obviously Rooney will have to go, but anyone else?

The team doesn't look that bad but I'm sliding down leagues. Too much point chasing I guess.

    Foster
    Clyne - Rojo - Wilson
Di Maria - Fabregas - Sterling - Sigurdsson
    Rooney - Naismith - Costa

    Krul - Taylor - Duff - Zaha

You know what really annoys me. Any programme where it gets to an advert break and it gives you a preview of what is going to happen after the advert break. Like you don't already have an idea. Then they think you are so stupid that when they come back from the break they feel the need to remind you what happened previously. How stupid do they expect people to be?

I'm not telling you what to post or what not to post. I'm saying don't go bragging about "WC status" if you don't want comments on your team compared to others who have used theirs. Simple as.

How's putting in WC status a brag?

And even if it is then why do you care so much?

And I didn't ask you for comments on my team.

                Get this straight-

"Pundit of Punts posting his WC status does not mean he wants team advice from a Muppet".

All midfield at home. 2 forwards at home one with a good fixture the third has a good away fixture. 2 goodish defenders the only real is Krul as usual and my 3rd defender as Southampton probably won't keep a cleany and Chester seems to be out of favour.

They'll be fine. One bad game against West ham apart they've been decent. Practiced set pieces this week too and were much better at defending them today

I can't see a really good option for that spot so think I will play him with Clyne on 1st defensive bench and hope. Hull need Chester as their defence has been weak without he may just come back.

Yes go for him..i wanted him too but picked Ulloa for a hit instead last week after general bad opinions about him , and am very regret about it now..can only hope Ulloa to come good next week to justify my hit,and hopefully 1 more price rise 🙁

He did decent enough for me last year just looking for short term profit, want a bit of city cover without breaking the midfield template

He's enticing that way with his price alright. questions over whether he starts or not every week will slowly drive you insane though lol

he's not a bad shout and probably the best attacking option in his price bracket. only thing that prevents me from this is rotation. i can't allow any player in my team to be a rotation risk and at some point demand a -4 to ship. could be a great short term option though

Dzeko has played 4 games in a row now. If he starts on Tuesday, I'd be wary of getting him as Jovetic is also back to full fitness now.

Exactly this. If Jovetic was out long-term, I may have pulled the trigger for Dzeko weeks ago. Alas, I still have Adebayor in my team, and the Dzeko ship has sailed barring any new injuries.

Fabregas and Pelle in for Ramsey and Rooney.
    -4 hit.

    Good moves?

    DDG, Gilks
    Chambers, Cahill, Clyne, Wisdom, Naylor
Di Maria, RAMSEY, Sterling, Siggy, Marney,
    ROONEY, Welbeck, Costa

Cant afford both Aguero and Tadic btw

At what point is it wise to cash in on Sigurdsson's price rises? He is still good value, but getting ahead of the herd might mean jumping ship.

This is the issue. He'll have to blank one or two more times and one or two mids will have to show themselves worthy before I think about selling.

Not when he's playing NEW/sto/LEI that's for sure. Maybe even never tbh. He's an enabler at that price. Can get differentials elsewhere.

I don't think I'll ever get rid unless he's injured. 100% nailed attacking central mid on set pieces is great value. I'll probably bench him a fair deal but he just makes so much sense in a squad at that price

His next 2 games are tasty for points and I captained him one week, season keeper potentially but there is competition from Mane/Tadic but they're more expensive

Any normal team suffering the amount of midfield injuries Arsenal has would be completely on the ropes next week but they have such depth in the area I feel as if they can almost rotate the whole lot of them and still put out a quality midfield.

Liverpool have been missing Allen, Coutinho, and Can, and Lallana only just returned from injury. Pretty deep squad too, even if they haven't clicked just yet

So Ramsey replacement... Ramsey -> Gerrard

Is it nuts to double down on 'pool mids? I've already got Sterling but they have a very tasty run of games comng up and both are playing well.

Is there any downside to having Ivanovic AND Baines?

If a £7m mid was putting up their numbers everyone would be all over both of them like flies on dog turds. It also works well as mid price forwards like Welbeck and Pelle have become good options

    1. 1314
      • 11 Years

the only downside is that whenever a high priced forward start scoring big u probably have to take a hit , sell Ivan/Baines to get him..
