Granville’s lackadaisical approach to the new campaign might just explain why he’s treading water. Missing deadlines and price rises, my ScoutCast co-host badly needs to introduce some organisation into his season if he’s to keep pace – the man needs a PA – get your applications in.

With Granville floundering, I’ve decided to lay down my Wildcard to potential rub further salt into his wounds. Is it a chronic case of “jerky knee”? Granville certainly thinks (hopes) so.

We chat over my Wildcard revolution, analyse how the heavy-hitting midfielders are failing to pull their weight and rinse through the usual regulars in the same disorganised fashion.

Minute this meeting via this link or set your own agenda via the handy player below…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Guys, I am in a bit of a pickle with my Rooney replacement.....

Are you that confident in Aguero hitting some real form, he is just so expensive!?

    Aguero(-4)
    Pelle
    Welbeck

are the options for my choice BUT I don't like Pelle & Welbecks fixtures this GW.

    Any thoughts appreciated.
    I also have Tadic btw.

very true. Aguero doesnt give me any leeway for other transfers but has the potential to explode.

Shame my other forward is Naismith, right now.

I'd go with Aguero as City have excellent fixtures until January. If he hits form he'll be well worth the money and given that his ownership is (relatively) low I'm happy to take that risk.

That said, if you go with Pelle/Welbeck and spend the extra money well...

cheers pal. My Midfield & Defence is pretty much spot on, so not fussed on spending the money elsewhere, I just have to jope Naismith picks up again as hes my 3rd striker!

    My GW7 team:

    Mannone
    Naylor Moore Moreno
    Sterling ADM Siggy Fab
    Costa Pelle Welbeck

(Krul Clyne Boyd Pieters), 2 FT, 3.8 ITB

I don't sense any urgency, but also don't want to waste a FT. I'd like to use 1 now and save the other so I have 2 for GW8. A few options:

    A) Pieters > Baines. I plan to do this next week in any event, so I could do it now and get ahead of the inevitable GW8 Baines price increase(s), assuming no injury over the weekend. This way I would have Baines AND 2 FT to play with for GW8.

    B) Krul > Forster/Bego. Krul has been a bit of a smudge, but I'm not sure a GK upgrade is critical.

    C) Boyd > Downing. Would consider benching Welbeck and starting Downing as a GW7 gamble, then living with the benching headache until I decide to unwind this trade. I also sense that Downing could continue to rise in price, so I suppose there is an argument in favor of "investing" in a potentially rising player rather than allowing my cash to rot in the bank.

    Thoughts?

Baines, as it is for free and the transfer you want to make, though you have quite a luxurious situation overall.

I'm in quite a similar situation bud, asking the same questions but different names. But Baines this week or next is defo 1. Think I'm gunna downgrade my 5th mid for future investment with 1 freebie

Thx - leaning in the direction of Baines. FWIW, I like the idea of 5th mid downgrade for flexibility. Good luck.

He had one recently after Robin Williams committed suicide.

Brazil started by describing the moment he and his wife first heard the news, saying he initially thought Robbie Williams of Take That had died.

"And then when she said 'Robin', I thought, 'Oh, OK'. It didn’t hit me hard like it would if it had been Robbie, thank God it wasn’t."

Valencia or Sakho only look promising this week.. If you want to keep Kun (given injury free) might as well do it now.

I got both, gave the CR to a friend who's a United fan (it was an away United CR7 jersey). Both are still intact in original packaging ready to be put up in the man cave, when my wife allows me to have a man cave 😉

Best of luck with that!, winning the jerseys was easier than winning a spot on the wall, in your own house, that you own, with your own cash.

    A) Hazard/Cattermole> Sterling/Sig 0.0itb

    B) Hazard/Clyne> Sterling/Ivanovic
    or

    C) stick and move next week w/2 FT's

they forced my post to the bottom of the page too in an attempt to limit the readership.
