Back in the game after another international interval, Saturday presents us with an array of treats that begins at the Etihad. Manchester City host Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs side in what looks to be a fascinating encounter, with a gaggle of prime Fantasy assets on show.

Given the doubt surrounding Diego Costa’s availability, suddenly the significance of Sergio Aguero’s pitch time and points increases. The Argentine will doubtless carry the armband for some and, in the main, they’ll be hoping that Spurs can provide opposition that forces Manuel Pellegrini’s men to seek out goals.

Certainly Spurs are set up to trouble the home side, with Pochettino’s high pressing game and emphasis on the counter, potentially exploiting key weaknesses in the City rearguard.

    silva is too unselfish to be a good enough FPL player but makes him an amazing team player. Great link up with Aguero earlier in the game and could have easily scored but opted for a pass instead. Seem him do that a lot.
