Gameweek 11

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Man I'm glad I moved the armband off Sakho to Aguero last minute. It was reckless. Getting the captain choice right is key to a good GW.

With Citeh fixtures being tasty all the way to Xmas and Aguero's elastic band hammys holding up, think I'm just gonna leave it on him to next year. 🙂

When I doubt give it to the more expensive player playing for the bigger team

I think Utd are fortunate Brendan Rodgers has lost the plot. They desperately need Champion's League football this year financially.

ADM like United looked awful today. Don't see the rush to get him in when the money could be must better spent elsewhere.

Biggeat problem for ADM is he is surrounded by mediocre players. No movement and no one at the end of his crosses. Needs Falcao back asap

Maria is easily the most overrated player in the league. He's incredibly inconsistent. Real couldn't wait to get rid of him once United came calling. He'll turn out like Ozil soon.

Was planning on doing Moore and Berahino to Saylor and Sakho for next GW with my 2ft. Obviously depending on everyone getting through tomorrow injury free etc. Do you think they are wise transfers?

I have Pelle, Costa and Fabregas, who all have 4 YC. This week I'm looking at downgrading Henderson (5th mid), is it smart to do Henderson > Jedinak now then Jedinak can fill in for games those 3 miss, then once yellow cards clear up swap him to Boyd/Sanchez? or is it easier to do it to Boyd/Sanchez right now?

    Thanks

Didnt see the game last night, but sounds like Austin had a barnstormer. QPR nice run of fixtures too. Is he genuinely the one to get now or stick with Sakho? Dont want to run headfirst into Bojna Bandwagon territory

Me thinking this too, especially as you can't downgrade him, only upgrade. That's a problem if you leave no money itb

      Austin could have scored 6.
If he can learn to stat onside he'll get 20 this season.

LvG will go conservative against Arsenal but from then on and against Hull I would like to see him role out this side.

    --------------------------De Gea--------------------------

    ------Rafael------Jones------Evans------Shaw------

    ---------------------------Carrick--------------------------

    -------------Fellaini-------------------Di Maria----------

    ----------------------------Mata----------------------------

    -------------Falcao------------------Rooney------------

    Why?

    - Carrick is the best at shielding the defence.
    - Fellaini adds some size and muscle to an otherwise small side.
    - Gets Di Maria and Mata playing in the best positions, through the middle, playing between the lines and running at defences.
    - Falcao and Rooney have the best movement, RVP just can't do it anymore. They can run in behind and stretch the game giving Di Maria and Mata more room or drift wide.

I prefer Herrera over Fellaini. He is a much smoother passer of the ball and will definitely help their attack and maintain possession. Otherwise I pretty much agree with everything else.

Agreed Herrera is the better passer but he is too forward thinking, would leave us open at the back constantly.

Whereas with Fellaini, he gives a physical presence in the middle, would break up play and can act as a shield with Carrick.

most expensive player in the game so there is a pressure there, but clearly an absolute machine now playing more minutes than ever (did you know for example he has already played more 90s this season than all of last season), penalty taker, and just checking the ticker man city are ranked 1st for fixtures for the next 10 gw

It's the penalties that swing it. Sure there are other high profile strikers (most still not as good as Aguero) but the fact that he takes penalties aswell. Beast.

    how were tadic and downing?

tadic was decent, if long had squared it would have been a different story as he would have a goal by his name

downing was v good based on highlights, unlucky not to get assist

Did you watch Saints? I thought Tadic was quite quiet???

And why would Long square it? He's a striker who was already confident from scoring. Don't phrase it like it was poor decision making or a surprise.

i'm not saying it was a poor decision obviously he scored. However some players would square it. What I am saying on another day he would have had a tap in.

    A: Welbeck + ADM ->> D.Costa + Downing
    B: Welbeck + Pelle + ADM ->> D.Costa + Austin + Oscar

    Would you A or B ?
A means I will still keep Saint trio .. Pelle + Clyne + Forster .. for another week.
    B means I will have Chelsea trio .. Costa + Fab + Oscar .. in Gw12.

    My front 8 now are:
    Siggy - Sanchez - Fab - ADM - Boyd
    Pelle - Aguero - Welbeck

Btw, Pelle wasted many chances. A bit concern with his FPL consistency.

Who has been the worst big signing to the premier league this season. Ideye Brown maybe Siem De Jong? As he is constantly injured. Any other suggestions?

I think a lot of people would mention Balotelli, but I personally won't. I think that I'd agree with Siem de Jong. He has a large injury list to his name (and isn't that special either) and yet they still bought him.

balotelli given his detrimental effect on the whole team.
mangala has been a bit of a waste of 30mil too (they actually own 57% of him, would have cost 50+mil to buy properly

Siem De Jong is unfair seeing as he's injured. If you're going down that route someone like Falcao taking 350k from your wallet every week surely takes the cake.

Of the players that have actually played, Managla and Balotelli look woeful. Lovren has been a disaster. Cabella is another player I expected to do really well.

Wont dignify thinking Bojan was going to be anything other than rubbish 😆

I think RVP is over once Falcao is fit.

AdM and Mata have to play, they are the creative spark of this side.

Then two out and out holding midfielders who will protect the back four.

Mata creates nothing. And you're kidding yourself if you think that A) we have two holding CM in our squad and B) RvP will be dropped.

Creates nothing? 41 assists in the last 3 seasons.

          Carrick, Blind, Fellaini and Fletcher

RVP might have to be, 3 goals in 10 is not gd enough.

I don't know where you're getting those stats from but all I care about is what he's done and can do for us. And in a United shirt Mata has offered the square root of bugger all overall.

And if you think Blind and Fletcher are capable holding CM I'll just say agree to disagree. But if you think Fellaini is all I can do is laugh.

As for RvP he and Louis are thick as thieves. He won't be dropped. Whether or not he's good enough is irrelevant.
