I was 68th highest score this week 101 points amazed how the midweek games went

Morning all. Would you do Fabregas to Eriksen for free? Tottenham's fixtures are tempting me.
I'm sticking with Fábregas, and I have 2 FTs and money in he bank.
He will continue to produce the good IMO. He has been involved in roughly a third of Chelsea's league goals, so he will continue to score well as long as they do.

12 points in hits. None have paid off that week but hopefully in the long-term...
Hits work for me. I worked out my averages one year based on hits. 8pt hits gave me the highest average, followed by 4 followed by no hits followed by WC teams 🙂
I can see why others are allergic to hits but I don't have the time, or skills, to plan to the nth degree and avoid them.

Generally speaking hits = more risk. Doesn't mean you can't get a high rank taking tons of hits. Risk is fun and hits are definitely fun. I'm still not sure it's the "best" way to go though.
I put a fair bit of time in to the game and subsequently planning transfers but find myself taking the exciting route most times. Still, 5 hits in 14 weeks isn't a huge amount I don't think. Be interested to hear who has more or less and why. Except from those guys that take 10 a week to get number 1 GW rank.
In my opinion someone who takes necessary hits will always come out on top of someone who religiously avoids them. You can take weeks to fix an issue in your team if you're not prepared to take a hit somewhere along the line. The secret is to not overdo it.
Definitely. This is the way a lot of managers play, but I think people's definition of "necessary" is often way, way off.
I took 0 in the first 8 weeks then 5 in the last 6, but had 4 greens in that period.

He does seem to get into good positions and makes those few chances count. I'd keep if I still had him. Until Kane scores a few more goals, he's the best attacking Spurs player IMO.

Chadli has served me well but I'm worried about his playing time over the holidays and Downing is definitely nailed on.
I also think Chadli may have run his course now and Kane and Eriksson will be the main Spurs points scorers now.

I don't think he is, but the real issue is there difference in their points more or less than the difference eye tween baines/terry and Wilson
With a good set of Spurs it could pay off, but it is these kind of fixtures in which Spurs struggle. Not worth a FT,imo

Eriksen is very inconsistent. He has short spells where he enchants everyone..
He then blanks enough to make you get him out..
And then his spells to enchant start againBut over a long period of time his scores seem to make him good value. But is it enough to offset the frustration? If I remember correctly he was pretty hit and miss up until Xmas last season, then pretty consistent (in a good way) for the second half of the season. A bit like an anti-Fabregas.
