With the fall-out from Sergio Aguero’s injury reverberating around the Fantasy Football community, it’s time to distract ourselves from our return to the drawing board and resume the Gameweek action.

A pair of Premier League encounters await, with events beginning at the Boleyn Ground as Swansea City clash with West Ham. A battle of two in-form teams harbouring top six ambitions, the Hammers go into this match with just one defeat in the last eight, while the Swans’ have also suffered just one setback in their previous six league outings. Fantasy managers will of course be hoping that the 50% owned Gylfi Sigurdsson can help rescue the Gameweek with midfield returns, while Wilfried Bony will likely be auditioning as the potential Sergio Aguero replacement, once the City’s striker’s prognosis is confirmed.

Later today, Villa meet Leicester City in a midlands derby that, while bereft of Fantasy talent, could yet prove of interest with Christian Benteke now presenting an option up top. The Belgian returned to the scoresheet to earn the three points at Palace in midweek and, should he also put the Foxes to the sword, there’s little doubt that Benteke will be another name considered in the light of Aguero’s injury scare.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Down to 10 men for no reason, at all.

You got an early on a rare clanger from Guzan. So what? You were down before the sending off and creating nothing.

Most on here probably glory hunters anyway.

Its not like Villa are particularly great. 10 goals all season. They spawn avoiding relegation every season.

Big questions to ask now, though, because the fans will want Pulis in now.

    3 here. Very disappointing.

Hoping Fabianski's is rescinded and then I can probably get away with a single transfer and still be able to put out a half decent team next week.

Hardly luck when you plan for injuries and suspensions by having 8 decent forwards rotating... I've been saying this for months on here 😉

It is convenient to have 2FT's though, but I've hardly been lucky with GK's this season.. benched Fab for Elliot last week, and had Begovic and Krul before my WC two weeks ago who both got injured... and now again BOTH my GK's are out!
