Don't know about his goal threat though. I like my defenders to pop in with the odd goal/assist. Especially if they're worth 6m.
Yeah, I'd say Zabs if money wasn't an issue. Seems like he's going to get rested every 4-6 weeks, but he hasn't come on as a sub so if you've got cover on the bench it's not the worst thing in the world. Still too pricey for me though.
That's what I'm thinking.
I do have bench cover with Hutton/Dummett but it worries me to pay 6.4m for a guy who keeps getting rested.

Looking at Clichy (most starts in last 2 months out of the City back 4) and Downing (form). What makes people think Azpi will get back in?
I think its because he's tried and tested, and is, historically, an essential part of a strong Chelsea back line.
Over the long term, I would downgrade Lukaku to someone like Kane/Austin and put the money into getting rid of Chambers and Jedinak. Possibly Jedinak to Eriksen/Siggy and sacrifice the 4?

I guess I'd rather break it up over 2 weeks and just do the Siggy/Downing portion. Admittedly, I didn't see the game today and RVP's stats look immense/Rooney's mediocre, but we have a reasonably large sample over the last couple years that say when RVP/Rooney play together they're roughly equivalent. (Or maybe I'm making that up, but I could have sworn somebody did some legwork making that argument)
