Its incredible how Baines' points are so perfectly inversely proportional to Mirallas' gametime this season. Definitely more than a coincidence
Well yes.
Mirallas takes away Baines' free kicks and some corners, two of the main sources of points. Also he is very selfish and shoots on site and never passes so Baines has less final third involvement. Also doesn't do any defensive work so Baines stays back to cover. No coincidence at all, it's always been this way.
