Kevin Mirallas misses Everton’s trip to Southampton. Dusan Tadic is ruled out for the Saints, whilst Graziano Pelle is doubtful. Hull’s Michael Dawson is out for up to five weeks, Bojan is back in training for Stoke, Theo Walcott will be assessed ahead of Arsenal’s trip to Liverpool, whilst Mario Balotelli is set to serve a one-match ban for Brendan Rodgers’ side.

Nacho Monreal, Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will be assessed tomorrow, according to Arsene Wenger. The latter is set for a late test after failing to train, whilst the likes of Laurent Koscielny, Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere remain on the sidelines.

Marian Chamakh is ruled out of Palace’s trip to City, though James McCarthy is set to feature despite sustaining a rib problem. Adrian Mariappa and Jonny Williams are back in training and the former could make the squad if he proves his fitness.

Kevin Mirallas is out of Everton’s trip to St Mary’s with an ankle problem but is expected to recover for the festive fixtures, according to Roberto Martinez. James McCarthy, Leon Osman, Darron Gibson and Tony Hibbert are all doubtful for the Toffees.

Alan Hutton, Kieran Richardson and Tom Cleverley are all suspended for Villa’s home clash with United. Paul Lambert is still without the likes of Philippe Senderos and Nathan Baker at the back, whilst Ashley Westwood remains out with a knee injury.

Hull are set to be without Michael Dawson for up to five weeks with a hamstring tear, whilst Tom Huddlestone serves the first of a four-match ban at home to Swansea.

David Nugent is back in training for Leicester after stepping up his recovery from an ankle problem, though the likes of Kasper Schmeichel and Matthew Upson are still unavailable for the trip to West Ham.

Mario Balotelli has been handed a one-match ban by the FA for recent social media posts and will skip Liverpool’s home clash with Arsenal.

Alan Pardew was handed a boost ahead of Newcastle’s derby home encounter with Sunderland, with reports in the local press confirming Jak Alnwick is set to recover from a shoulder injury to take his place between the sticks. Moussa Sissoko is likely to recover from a midweek knock, whilst the Magpies boss also expects Papiss Cisse to recover from illness.

The problems are mounting for Southampton ahead of the weekend home clash with Everton. Ronald Koeman has three players – Morgan Schneiderlin, Victor Wanyama and Florin Gardos – all suspended, whilst Dusan Tadic and Jake Hesketh join Jack Cork on the sidelines through injury. Graziano Pelle and Steven Davis are both doubtful and are set for late fitness tests.

Bojan has returned to training for Stoke after recovering from a hip injury sustained last weekend. Mark Hughes is confident on the Spaniard’s availability for Monday’s visit of Chelsea and also has Marc Muniesa back from injury, though Stephen Ireland (knee) is a doubt.

Chris Brunt has recovered from a hamstring injury and returns for the Baggies’ trip to Loftus Road. Georgios Samaras is sidelined, whilst fellow forward Victor Anichebe is a doubt due to a groin injury.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter stream as breaking news unfolds.

      Both way too injury prone, and their defending has still been poor. They can only rely on De Gea for so long before they suffer for it.

      If I had lots of FT's to spare i might throw one in, but at this time of year the benefit is not worth blowing a transfer on. bigger fish to fry.

      Good team. Benching Siggy with No BONY could hurt you against a poor Hull though. But I can understand why you would bench him.

      If you're thinking for the season and given his upcoming fixtures, I think it's worthwhile as long as you have allowed 2-3 games to make up the points and don't expect them back instantly.

    Morning guys. Could do with your opinions. Been away all week with no internet so have missed out on my planned transfer of Dzeko to Giroud as I only have 0.1 ITB and I've missed the prices rises/drops so I have to come up with something else.

    Tempted by Dzeko to Kane but then I've got a benching problem. Would expect most to say leave Siggy out but I think he's due some points and he's only playing Hull albeit away.

    Squad is

    Szczesny Elliot

    Chambers Coloccini Jagielka Cahill Wisdom

    Hazard Sánchez Downing Sigurdsson Silva

    Austin Costa Dzeko

    Q1 Q2

    Transfer Bench

    a) Dzeko -> Kane v) Siggy
    b) Dzeko -> Welbeck w) Sanchez
    c) Dzeko -> Carroll / Sakho x) Downing
    d) Save and take the price drop but y) Costa
    have 2 transfers for next week z) Something else

    Cheers

      Bench Sanchez over Welbeck? Blimey.

      You're happy playing the rest of your front seven this week, so you might as well save and make a more informed choice with 2 FTs. I don't think Dzeko will drop again before the deadline, anyway.

            There is a history of players who struggle having left Dortmund. Gotze might be okay given he was born in Munich but Lewandowski might struggle in the long term. Gotze last season had a pretty poor time all in all.

    Bottom post syndrome....or something

    This is my current team - http://imgur.com/4ulookC

      Up to 4.9m defender replacement for Kelly with 1ft? (Baines, Hutton, Wisdom, Yun, Kelly)

      O'shea/Réveillere or Naylor seem to have better fixture run of the cheapies (B Davies, Dummet, Trippier) but not great either?

        I can afford any of Citys midfielders... Go for Yaya or anyone smell big points from different direction?

          I'm smelling points from Zabaletta and Kolorov at the moment. Getting butterflies....

          I've got Yaya but I think I'd prefer Nasri plus the change, or even Silva & Nasri.

        Thinking of taking a hit to do:

        Siggy + Chambers > Eriksen + Zabaleta

        Is it worthwhile?

        Have long standing emo attachment to Sig and Chambers, and haven't taken a hit this season yet, so it is tricky, but the points should be better...?

        Some advice please peeps. Narrowed down to 3 options. C would give me a captain choice

        a) Clyne ➡ Zaba
        b) Oscar ➡ Eriksen
        c) Costa ➡ RVP

        1 FT 2.2 ITB

        Fabianksi
        Baines Clyne Yun
        Haz Sanchez Siggy Oscar
        Costa Bony Austin

        Panty / Wisdom / Moore / Obertan

        Is getting Austin in this week, and then selling for Giroud (QPR) next week a waste of transfers?

        Is Liverpool a decent enough fixture to bring Giroud in instead?
