Actual Bonus Points will be shown when added – all points are provisional until then.

Gameweek 17

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Why was Bony dropped and do you think he'll start this weekend?

      Gary Monk's FPL rival captained him and it depends on whether said rival sells him or not.

    Is Kane likely to be rotated?

    Was looking at Sakho to Kane given fixtures and Valencia probably in with a shout of rotating with Sakho, but would it be similar at Spurs with Kane? Or does Soldado being backup make Kane rotation proof? 😆

      I think he'll miss one of the games on the 28th or NYD but given those games are MNU, CHE I'll take the risk.

    Repost need for opinions.

    Baines -> 6.5 defender. (Already have 3 Chelsea and City)
    Bony -> Kane
    Ameobi -> Silva

    -8.

    Want to make the transfers before the price changes!

    Mid will be - Sanchez Downing Yaya Silva Hazard if I make these transfers.

  7. WHY ALWAYS MESUT?

    11 years, 4 months ago

    Time to do something with my squad I feel.

    Adrian - McCarthy
    Chambers - Clyne - Azpi - Dummett - Hutton
    Sanchez - Hazard - Eriksen - Siggy - Boyd
    Costa - Rooney - Kane

    2 FT, 3.5m ITB.

    Feeling gutted about not making any move last week (was gonna get in one of Silva, Austin or Downing... all made bank today!)

    Anyway, what do you think I should do here? Personally think it might be time to get rid of Rooney. He'll still do well but seems a waste of a striker atm. Also I think it's time to ship out Adrian yeah?

    Is this a silly trade?

    Siggy and Baines --> Di Maria and Zabaleta/Demi/Mangala(-4)

    I know you should never take a point hit on a defender but I would need it to fund Di Maria, Siggy and Baines are frustrating the hell out of me and I have no City defence or United coverage.

        Yep totally agree. Except for 3 of the last 5 weeks when he broke double figures and the two seasons where he was the best in the game. And those seasons for Arsenal for which he was always injured, but when he was healthy he was gold. Apart from that, never a good option.

                That's an option, too. I was thinking though that fullbacks are more likely to come in from the bench and I wouldn't want that. Even if Demi/Mangala doesn't play I will pretty much have it covered.

          I know quite a few people that wanted/got Rooney. He never enticed me. United arent playing well enough and hes been playing cm most of the season. Hes a good player still, just not a good fpl option. When United create 4 chances im not really looking for any cover.

              Dont be too hard on yourself, pretty standard line of thinking. Once you go outside the box, thats when you ramp up. Or drop rapidly into the abyss, either or. 😀

                Haha yeah. Gutted cause I've missed two hattricks by a whisker. Was 99% gonna bring in a place right before (and captain) and decided not to.

                It's cool though, you win some you lose some.

                Thanks btw 🙂

      I think he'll still score a good amount of points, but with the budget/midrange strikers bringing home the points, it's hard to see him being great value.

        He's just not captaincy material as things stand. Waste to not have a captain at 10+m.

    Good thing about being around 60,000 is that I did -20 transfers and have only gone down 4,000 places and still have Hazard, Giroud, Sanchez, Dummett and Pantilimon to play.

    Really stumped at what to do with this lot:

    Guzan (swa)
    Baines (STO), Azpilicueta (WHU), Wisdom (MCI)
    Sanchez (QPR), Yaya (wba), Hazard (WHU), Sigurdsson (AST)
    Costa (WHU), Bony (AST), Austin (ARS)

    Subs - Elliot, Coloccini, Jones, Duff
    2FT, 0.1 ITB.

    Any ideas? Obviously need a new third defender. Coloccini to a Sunderland defender?

    2FT, 0.2 in the bank.
    I need some input on my next move with this team.

    Guzan - 4.0
    Baines - Cahill - Naylor - Wisdom - Moore
    Sanchez - Silva - Fabregas - Siggy - Downing
    Costa - Bony - Austin

    Thinking it is time to replace Moore, for the christmas fixtures, but my bank is just short of any notable options. I am also sick of Baines, but I might give him another week. But if I do, I can't see how to get funds for the Moore upgrade. Any ideas?

    It seems that my score of 47 is actually quite good so far. I think anything inside a GW rank of 200,000 is not to be sneezed at, so long as it's consistent.

    What are people doing with Downing? Two not so easy fixtures and I could go for Silva.

    Baines -> O'Shea

    Downing -> David Silva

    -4.

      Downing is brilliant value for money.

        I would go -8 if I don't get rid of Downing and have to choose someone else.

      Too good of value for me to shift him. Probably benching him this week though.
