I'm so bad at this game that I didn't qualify for the FPL cup. Should I quit?
-
Hi DZ, I need some insight. I've gone from 18k to 40k this week 😯 the RVP hit captaincy was less than successful.... 🙁
Guzan
BAINES, Zabaleta, Hutton, Yun, Chambers
SIGGY, Yaya, Sanchez, Hazard, Boyd
SAKHO, Austin, RvP
0ITB and 1FT
Capitalized are the problem players as I see it.
A) Baines -> Azpi/Terry
B) Siggy -> Downing (I know, poor fixtures but he has form)
C) Sakho-> ? (I don't know to whom, but I'm worried about his rotation)
I feel my season slipping, help me DZ!-
i like kane
-
😆
-
lol
-
-
Ask yourself...what would Puyol do?
-
Yes.
-
Many of us will get knock out by next week, so chill 😆
What was your rank?-
2.5 Mill
40 pts.-
Not an issue. Your OR is still good I guess which only matters 🙂
-
-
-
No, you can concentrate on the league now. 🙂
-
Yes, less competitor for me 😎
-
Sorry Puyol !! Big fail right there.
-
No.
-
-
haz to silva for a week and cpt or sanchez to silva?
-
Surely only if Haz is injured you mean?
-
yes mate my original plan was costa to giroud but if haz is out mo chelsea coverage
-
-
-
found a nice football website awhile ago
http://babb.telegraph.co.uk/
nothing fantasy football related, but fun read from time to time -
I'm just so pissed that Siggy went down again last night 😈
One of the most owned player and also flagged - still need only about 30k transfers to drop in price.
Someone should sue these clowns, because there is clearly different rules for different players.
We have some money involved here so surely there is some EU law against this 😈 😈
🙂-
I think he's already reach the price peak. Good riddance 🙂
-
There are different rules for players above their original price. Those rules have been in place all season.
-
-
Chelski doubled my gw score 😎
-
Only a small red for you in the end Champ 🙂
-
Well chuffed 🙂
-
-
I benched Fabregas 🙁
-
😯 Surely no one in the DZ recommended that!
-
I have to play Eriksen against Burnley at home over him, right? Have Hazard too
-
-
-
-
lads i used my ft for siggy > silva and am absolutely regretting it since i could have done boyd > silva instead. would've preferred siggy as backup now that one of sanchez/haz look to be rested. what to do now? willing to take -4
2.5itb
-------------Hart
--Baines, Naylor, Wisdom
Haz, Sanchez, Yaya, Silva
------Costa, Austin, Kane
Bench: Elliot / Boyd, Bartley, Yun-
-
i'm sensing you did the same. i'd be over the moon if he didn't start..but his injury doesn't look serious at all..
-
-
i think siggy will start
-
🙁
-
-
-
Panti
Baines | JT | Duff
Sanchez | Hazard | Oscar | Siggy
RvP | Bony | Austin
2 point subs: Fabi, Marney, Dummett, Wisdom (0.2m ITB, 1 FT)
In an alright position to save, but feel Oscar is deadwood right now & need to capitalize on the 3rd mid spot with Cazorla, Sterling, even Erisken are fit & firing. Though Duff is a big concern & so is Siggy's bad form + Baines'. Though I might be better off saving for now, will need those 2 FT's.
A) Oscar --> Sterling/Cazorla (QPR)
B) Duff -----> Hutton (swa)
C) Save, do these moves next week you twat-
Is Duff back?
-
According to physioroom & FPL, he's back on the 26th 😯
Still as risk for me though, will have to play one of Dummet (mci) or Wisdom (mun)-
You got their fixtures around the wrong way 😉
I wouldn't like to have to play one of them (or Duff) but with only 0.2 ITB I don't really see a good replacement for this week. Can't see Hutton keeping Swansea out.-
🙁
Sound logic always prevails, damn you Innsie! You've won this time!-
Yay! 😉
-
Thanks Innsie
How are you holding up at the top bud?-
Got a small greenie this week and back into the top 500. It's tough up here.
Could've been a different story if I captained Austin, or had Naylor/Boyd ahead of Yun on the bench ( 😥 ) but there's no point focusing on those negatives.
How was your GW?-
Aye, you made a solid comeback there man
Yeah mate, hindsight makes no difference. Just correct the "errors" you think you've made & move on to the next GW.
You had a great GW though man! Good move with Zab!
Played too conservatively, that strategy doesn't help much at 50k. Was planning on getting Silva all week, but talked myself out of it. Got RvP & his price almosy forced to cap him, had a gut feeling Austin was the better skipper 🙁
Not a good to limit variety in attack with double up on Chelsea & Swans, instead of having City, Spurs or Hammer attack-
Cheers mate.
Yeah it's easy to be influenced by a player's price, but tbh RVP (c) was the right move on paper, you were just unlucky it didn't work out. At least you had Terry, 15 points is massive!
5 green arrows in a row is impressive mate, keep it up. There's still plenty of the season left, you can easily make the top 5k/10k if you make the right decisions 🙂
-
-
82, Captained Austin, had Fabregas and Zabaleta.
Went up 14k places and back in the 10K region after a two weeks riddled with injuries, suspensions and hits that didn't play.
Back on track.-
I don't think he was talking to you 😉
-
I'm replying to share the Austin captaincy haul.
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
Save, Oscar could play this weekend. It's strange that he didnt play yesterday
-
It is very strange, but can you realistically see Oscar outscoring Sterling OoP in these next few?
-
See how Sterling perform first, he only offer thrill and excitement atm, not FPL points, and he could get his rest away at Burnley though...
-
Good points, but I feel Sterling's a bandwagon waiting to ignite before the Jan WC.
Might need to take a risk or two to break into the top 20k.
Will ponder on this for sure Choco, thanks!
-
-
-
-
C) 😉
-
*Man, looking at this on the screen, my team is really outdated
Dzeko & Oscar have thwarted any advances in the rankings -
Duff to Hutton
-
Thinking about this too, more playable than Dummet or Wisdom.
Still unlikely cleanie, but a better chance than either one of them.
Plus a playable backline 'til Gw23, thanks for the deduction Sherlock
-
-
Bb) Duff -> O'Shea?
-
🙁 0.1m short. Sums up my GW
-
You had a very mildly successful GW last week.
-
Was 0.1m short of Oscar to Silva before the GW started 😉
Had to get Dzeko out first 🙁-
There can be days when you regret not taking a hit to make things happen earlier.
-
Cheers Diva
-
-
-
-
-
-
oscar to silva?
-
Short a couple of mil, thanks for the suggestion though man! 🙂
-
-
On the one hand oscar will be nice and fresh for boxing day. On the other hand i reckon sterling will do better at burnley.
-
Pro's & cons eh?
My exact thinking Champ, Sterling's OoP goal threat wins by default right?-
whats the point...?! poor finishing
is same as getting welbeck and hopes he bag in a few but nahhh it didnt happen
-
-
-
-

-
You should start a I didn't qualify for the fpl cup cup

-
Yep

-
Yeah, it's GW rank
-
-
-
Did the siggy to silva move, how does this look DZ?
Forster

Did the same move 🙂 Looks great.

-
-
-
wow haz sanchez sig chances all not plsying?
-
Yeah, there is a chance that they all might not play 😯
Sakho should play though 😉-
Hope so..Sakho almost scored last weekend
-
-
-
As much as I need to change my team about a bit, I think the priority this week is to get a playing bench, therefor Duff to.......
Best defender 4.4 or under? Guessing Hutton or Dummet?-
Hutton or O'Shea
-
I was quite intrigued to see Dummett over a dangerous free kick (even tho he cocked it up)
-
Fixtures arent good though
-
-
-
-
Haha yeh mate small mercies
-
A. bench downing
B. bench austin
C. play both
please...-
A
-
-
Top points scorer this gw have Williams and Clyne on the bench
-
Goodnight DZ! Thanks for the discussion. May all your arrows be green.
-
Haz/Siggy -> Silva/Downing for free or wait?
-
depends on news, haz to silva first
-
Cheers, sounds like Siggy may not be as bad.
-
-
-
"Wayne Rooney once again played the role of hero, scoring a goal, assisting another and playing a key role in James Chester's own goal."
When and Where?-
Hull 2-3 United Boxing Day last year
-
That has to be worth a vote in the scout challenge,
http://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2014/12/22/scout-picks-community-champion-vote-gameweek-18/?hc_page=1#hc_comment_9234512-
Makes me want to slap the armband on him

B) Terry -4
if B,
1) Bartley > Terry
2) Yun > Terry-
Terry

-
Any obvious ways to use one or both of my FTs?
Adrian McCarthy
Baines Clyne NTaylor Moore Yun
Hazard Sanchez Downing Siggy Boyd
Costa RVP Austin
1.3 itb, 2 FT-
Would wait on news for Haz/SIggy like me. No emergency. Costa might be on his way out of my team this week.
