After a hectic festive period, we go head-to-head with Paddy for the first time in the calendar year. With a tenner in hand, we turn to a trio of home sides in this week’s Flutter and place our faith in Burnley and Swansea’s strikers, whilst United’s fit-again Argentine also gets the nod as the Saints roll up to Old Trafford.

Turf Moor is our first port of call as Burnley and QPR go head-to-head later today. The Clarets lost 2-0 at Loftus Road last month and will be desperate for revenge here and, having scored two at City and three at Newcastle, we’re backing their attack to get the better of ‘Arry’s boys. Paddy are offering 25/1 on Danny Ings to score two or more goals and Burnley to keep a clean sheet and with those odds, we’re prepared to make this our bet of the week and shell out £4.

Next up, we head to Old Trafford for United’s home showdown with Southampton. As they’ve shown in recent matches, the Saints will be no pushovers against Louis van Gaal’s side and we’re expecting a tightly-fought encounter on Sunday afternoon. Angel Di Maria returned to action with a goal at Yeovil last weekend and with Paddy willing to offer 8/1 on the Argentine to score and United to keep a clean sheet, we’ll hand over £3.

We cross the border to Wales for our final bet as Swansea welcome West Ham to the Liberty. With Wilfried Bony off to the African Cup of Nations and looking likely to head to City before the transfer window closes, Bafetimbi Gomis has the chance to fire his way onto Fantasy radars against Big Sam’s side. With Paddy prepared to offer 25/1 on the Frenchman to score two or more goals and Swansea to keep a clean sheet, we part company with our final £3.

Register and Bet £10 And Get £20 Free

If you’re new to Paddy Power, you can take up any of these odds and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up on this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

    Heaton (Mannone)
    Wisdom Ivanovic Hutton (OShea, Clyne)
    Hazard Sanchez Siggy Boyd (Downing)
    Rooney Costa Austin

    2FT, £1.0 ITB.

    Guys I need help.

I don't know what to do with my transfers, but: In the last GWs i only transferred out defender so I'm changing then when I wildcard. I would transfer Downing maybe but I can play Boyd over him this GW. The dilemma is Austin; I would give him another chance before to sell to Kane...

    Need some help guys:
    Heaton/Guzan
    Azpi/Zab/Vlaar/Dummet/O'Shea
    Silva/Yaya/Hazard/Sanchez/Downing
    Rvp/Kane/Austin

    Did Vlaar+Yaya+Azpi+Rvp-> Fab+Cresswell+Bertrand+Costa for -8

    Very temped to WC to:
    Heaton/Panti
    Terry/Bertrand /Cresswell/Wisdom/PVA
    Hazard/Sanchez/Silva/Fab (ADM)/Boyd
    Aguero/Kane/Giroud
PROS: No hit/Get ahead if Aguero, Giroud, etc do well, don't have to worry about price rise
CONS: risk on Aguero, Giroud, no WC for double gameweeks that might come, might take hits in the future (Wallcot, Ozil, new transfers).

    Play

    Hutton away against Leicester

    Or

I'm starting Naylor atm. Wonder if I should switch to Hutton. Leicester bit toothless right now?
