With Gameweek 21 done and dusted, we dig deep into the data in our regular Sunday evening article. A trio of in-form midfielders at Arsenal, Man City and Swansea are amongst tonight’s topics, whilst we also assess United’s alarming attack, Burnley’s raiding right-back and the main men for West Brom and Palace as Tony Pulis and Alan Pardew kick-start their respective stints at the helm with a victory.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

What's more important? Having two playing keepers (Foster, Panti) or having a 5th mid that isn't completely nailed (Albrighton)

Need to downgrade either Boyd ---> Albrighton or Panti/Foster ----> 4.0

If you have two 4.5's, I'd rather have them alternate. So I'd go for Boyd to Albrighton especially considering how rare 5th mids play.

      2 playing keeper > 5th mid

I'll put my 4th defender over 5th mid in bench, whats the point spend 4,6/4,7 for Boyd if there's albrighton for 4.2, even if he dont play anymore, i dont mind

I have 2 FTs and 3.7 ITB. Do I use the 2 FTs to fix my defense or go ahead and get Aguero as planned?

    Guzan // Gilks
    Zabaleta // Azpilicueta* // O'Shea // Wisdom // Saylor*
    Sanchez // Hazard // Silva // Siggy // Downing
    Costa // Austin // Kane

Would you do Austin and Zaba to Aguero and Wasilewski?
(Has to be with Zaba, can't afford with Azpi)

In that case I'd have to play a defense of:

    Guzan(LIV)
    O'Shea(tot) Wisdom(eve) Wasilewski(STK)

    With no defenseve back-ups.

It's best to leave it as late as possible, but between 22-23 is a good time because:

        - there are two weeks for price rises.
        - there are two weeks to evaluate january transfer window activity, even if this is speculative - you'll know a lot more then, than you will if you hit the button now.
        - fixtures change in week 24 for some teams, which means you'll be tempted to make your team setup for next 2, rather than ignoring 1 and the 3 which follow that - if you see what I mean?

It's quite heavy at the back... How are you going to deal with the medium-term need for Sturridge | Bony | Giroud or someone else emerging at those price points. It would be different if there was 1 player to downgrade, but you'll end up downgrading all of them by a little bit IMO.

Bony us off the radar now as he won't get the starts, giroud has never been on the radar. Will Sturridge be the same player as last year without Suarez, I don't know? Valid point though.

I think you can get Aguero without a WC, for a small hit. I would rather do this.

Drop Silva to Chadli, and upgrade Costa to Aguero if you think he is a must before the end of Jan.

      How's this WC team

      Panti, Heaton
      Baines/Terry, Bertrand, PvA, Wisdom, Wasilewski
      Hazard, Sanchez, ADM, Tadic, Boyd
      Pelle, Kun, Kane

      Thanks

I think you can find a better rotation than WBA | SUN | LEI, assuming you are going to play CHE | SOT each week.

I like the midfield a lot, and may end up with something similar myself.

Not sure about Pelle up top, especially as you have Tadic in there.

          Wisdom/Wasi/Pva best value around though...

            Yes, they are good value.

But it's all about points now.

Of course, but Pva/Wisdom have good fixtures and Pulis should tighten up. Sun always seem to grind out a couple of results towards the end of a season with Poyet as well.

Im just saying that those players are obv the "enablers" in most teams.

      I stormed another cup round.

      83 - 55

I thought it was going to be close when I saw his team.

Is a 5th mid like Boyd really important? I'm thinking of getting Albrighton over him to get funds for Bertrand. Discuss.

You need decent defenders on your bench instead then

Bench from now until the end of the season wouldn't be as important right?

Pretty much, a couple of playing defenders should cover you anyway

              All my defenders are playing

I'm thinking about it, think generally having a defender off the bench might be better.

BUT Boyd for people (not me) lots of points off the bench.
think I'm sticking with Boyd at the mo.

Most people started Boyd over Downing this week, look what happened. A player like Boyd on the bench could be frustrating for owners.

I'd never start Boyd, but I'd rather him off the bench usually than a cheap defender in an away game.

Which transfer would benefit my team most

      Duff > Ivan

      Austin > Ings

Currently on Ivan. Both are short term
