I can't bring myself to sell Costa

He looked a lot better then, as did Chelsea. Scoring hatties is an incredibly difficult feat in itself, getting 4 is almost impossible, regard opposition and form on the day.

You obviously don't watch Chelsea much. Costa is playing better now than at any time so far at Chelsea.

Thanks for commenting. Cork kept in because he is £4.3 and can't replace him with anyone.

United shipped 3rd fewest goals in the league so happy with Jones though he doesn't offer much going forward recently.

Begovic I'm not huge on either, maybe foster instead? Begovic got good fixtures though.

I'd prefer Foster big time personally.

Would selling Costa for a cheaper option not allow you more flexibility? Its a toss up what is worth more but Cork is really restrictive.

Why laugh? Carroll home to Hull vs Aguero to Arsenal is probably way closer in expectancy than you would think, especially given form/injury.

Yeah i mean its still Aguero, and its still a week until the game so im fairly positive that hell start, and at home hes an absolute menace to anyone. Arsenal arent particularly solid defensively either. But Caroll this coming gw is a great pick, imo.

      A) Siggy. Downing has tough fixtures after Hull. (Chadli is an option too)
      B) Triple is too much for me. Double should do. They are not cheap too.

West Ham's fixture do concern me. Seems like this is going to be a season defining decision as I have so much value in both of them.

Just a thought. I sort of agree. There just aren't many others in the 5-6 bracket that stand out to me at the moment.

      B) Downing - just. Worse fixtures, but better form and cheaper
      C) Nah- but double for sure

      1. No Pirlo No Party
        • 16 Years

Ive had Siggy since GW1 (£6m) and got Downing at £5.8m so have a lot of value in them at the moment. It may just be the flip of a coin. West Ham are a more attacking team, may be the deciding factor.

That's what I'm thinking too. Don't forget, Swansea will pobably lose Bony, and West Ham will get Sakho back.

I dont even like doubling, but that might be a good idea sometimes. Tripling is just too much of a risk for my liking, no matter who it is. Its just too easy to randomly concede a goal for me to think that its a good idea.

        • 16 Years

        Valid point. Thanks.

I was just having a play around and could afford Bertrand in my WC team. Doubling up earlier in the season worked very well for me. Will definitely be doing so on my WC.

Yeah doubling up, while still a risk, is a solid strategy. Reason i havent done it much this season is lack of opportunity to use a transfer on it, and lack of balls/game sense earlier in the season. Southampton particularly appeals as a candidate, mostly since youre gonna want atleast one offensive Chelsea player.

Most people will be doubling up. Need a way to be ahead of the pack. If they concede then people only get 4 points over you. Not too much of a big deal when on the flip side, you gain 4 points over them when it works....

What to do with Alde and Debuchy? Played WC last week, made an aguero transfer yesterday so have no FT.

    A. Play PVA (tot), then do both for free next week and week after
    B. either > trippier -4 (he works well as I presume one of them might of returned from injury when burnleys fixtures darken)
    C. Get replacement from the same clubs ( I did heavy rotation working out at the back) would go gardos and Gibbs
    D. Can you think of any good idea for 10.5
E, Wait it out, check news regulary, stick if its a shortish term injury

Anyone know how long it takes to recover from a popped out shoulder?

I went for Cesc and ADM as of now.

Tempted to do Cesc -> Silva though. Allows me to get double Chelsea defense.

That's a tough one but I'd have to say B.

Sanchez is red hot right now and playing outwide with Giroud back, which benefits him.

You can't ignore Aguero. I'm gonna have to use my WC to get Kun back this week

Have 2.9m in the bank. Think I'll do Rooney to Aguero and lock things in for next week. What do you think?

    Current side:

    Foster - Krul

    Terry - Demichelis - Chester - Cameron - Bartley

    Sanchez - Hazard - Boyd - Siggy - Silva

    Rooney - Kane - Austin

If Albrighton starts next week I may wave goodbye to Boydinho on wc.

Looks good to me, but not sure if it's the best transfer for your team. It could very well be, though.

    On a WC:

    A. Boyd & PvA
    B. Lucas & Gardos (with enough to get Alder / Yoshida when ready)

Today Mata got all the chances for ManUtd.
Do you think he might be better option than ADM?

    Forster (McCarthy)
    Clyne Cresswell Hutton (Clichy Wisdom)
    Hazard Downing Sanchez Silva (Siggy)
    Kane Costa Austin
    2FT, 1.3 ITB

Can I get away with Austin and Clichy > Ings and Fonte? And not use my WC?
