Sunday’s fare is dominated by the late kick-off, as Fantasy managers prepare for the return of Segio Aguero in anticipation of immediate rewards as City take on Arsenal. Before that, we have to show patience as West Ham host struggling Hull City in east London – a potentially coarse and bland starter before our lip-smacking main dish.

The Hammers still deserve our attention, however. Stewart Downing’s form continues to sparkle as his reputation of West Ham’s creator supreme blossoms. Andy Carroll is often the target for Downing’s probing passing and crossing. The big Geordie takes on a beleaguered Hull rearguard off the back of that untypical strike at Swansea; he’ll be looking to add his name to our Wildcard mix with another notable display.

The day is all about City and Aguero, however, with the Argentine expected to earn his first start since his being limited to just six minutes against Everton back in Gameweek 15. Prior to that fateful match, Aguero had fired 11 goals in nine league outings, making him indispensible as a Fantasy asset. Having regained fitness and returned to the turf, ironically against Everton last weekend, we’re now expecting Aguero to hit the ground running as the Gunners pay visit to the Etihad.

Alexis Sanchez may have other ideas. The Chilean arrives in Manchester fresh from a devastating 19-point haul against Stoke and will go head-to-head with Aguero in a battle of the South American destroyers. I’m putting a tenner on a James Milner hat-trick.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Lofting passes into a double covered Aguero...pretty shocking approach from City.

Really struggling to post a score now unless Aguero does something in the 2nd half.

I cannot believe West Ham managed a cleanie, they looked a shambles in that first half. Didn't see the 2nd half, was it easy?

Hull better in first half. Awful 2nd. They clearly need a striker who can score and stay fit.

Hull never turned up in the 2nd half, Bruce may be under pressure I'm not sure how Hull failed not to score early on.
They certainly ran out of steam in the 2nd, the confidence drained when Caroll scored.
They looked really poor and I'd fear for them from here.

    In the league this season:
Without Silva: Won 5, drew 1, lost 0.
Without Aguero: Won 4, drew 1, lost 0 (Win 5 and drew 2 if you count the Everton matches in which Aguero played a total of 30 minutes)
Without Yaya: Won 0, drew 3, losing this one.

Small sample size, and City could easily wind up winning this game, but still interesting to me.

As if missing Yaya wasn't bad enough, losing Nasri so close to the game seems to have killed City. A front four or Augero, Navas, Silva and Milner is not enough at all against a stubborn Arsenal side who are happy to defend for once. That pen was like all of Wenger's Xmas' coming at once.
