With winter Wildcards in play, we turn our focus on three in-form midfielders in our second members article of the week. Christian Eriksen, Santi Cazorla and Oscar were all amongst the goals in Gameweek 22 and are more or less identically priced in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) – the former pair set you back 8.2, whilst the Chelsea man is slightly more expensive at 8.3.

With Alexis Sanchez and Eden Hazard looking nailed on for most Fantasy managers, the trio are vying for a spot as the third pricey midfielder in many plans right now. As more look to restructure their sides ahead of the Gameweek 23 deadline in ten days’ time, we assess their recent matches and delve into the data over their last six appearances.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

I can see why people are selling Aguero if they havent wildcarded yet, it makes perfect sense to take a short term punt on Giroud or Falcao/RVP for one week before wildcarding

Can't say if he is nailed when they have all of those midfielders available. Schneid, Davis, Mane, Tadic, Wanyama, Elia.....lot of horses in the stable...but he has been doing extremely well and is pretty versatile. I'd rather have him than Boyd at this point.

Yep. Still JWP for 30 minutes as a sub is probably just as good if not better than any of the other 4.8 or less midfielders. And that is in the worst case where he loses his place.

He's started both games he's been available for. Hughes bought him and put him straight in. Granted they have had their fair share of injuries to their defense, but I think he will be nailed. I think he's the best pick of the Stoke defenders.

Loan? I thought they bought him...oops! Yeah I do. I think he will be first choice partner to Shawcross unless he shows he can't perform. They have been pretty awful defensively and I can't think that Hughes got him just for depth. I'm looking hard at including him in my WC team.

Now that is a close one. I'd prefer B, just, if only that I like the team structure more with more money invested into that midfield spot with Cazorla than having a cheaper lad like Chadli making future transfers easier.
