With winter Wildcards in play, we turn our focus on three in-form midfielders in our second members article of the week. Christian Eriksen, Santi Cazorla and Oscar were all amongst the goals in Gameweek 22 and are more or less identically priced in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) – the former pair set you back 8.2, whilst the Chelsea man is slightly more expensive at 8.3.

With Alexis Sanchez and Eden Hazard looking nailed on for most Fantasy managers, the trio are vying for a spot as the third pricey midfielder in many plans right now. As more look to restructure their sides ahead of the Gameweek 23 deadline in ten days’ time, we assess their recent matches and delve into the data over their last six appearances.

How likely is that do you think? 2013-14 1500 minutes, 2012-13 1900 minutes...

I'd say the chance of him lasting the season without another injury is slim. And City may well wrap him up safe around the Barcelona games meaning less PL gametime.

It seems weird to me that three of the most favoured players on here - Walcott, Aguero and Sicknote Sturridge - are about as resilient as Darren Anderton was.

Anyone could win it this year though. Djokovic and Federer are obviously the favourites, Djok loves the aus open and Fed has been in ripping form of late.

Nadal is off the pace but I wouldn't be surprised to see a Stan, Nishikori or even Dimitrov go deep into the second week.

Berdych is too reliant on his serve imo, like other lanky players he doesn't move around the court all to well.

It is approximately $44AU for a ground pass, then a further $19 for Margaret Court Arena (2nd court) and a further $36 for Rod Laver Arena (main court).

The ground pass lasts all day but the two main courts are split into separate sessions (day and night) which require different tickets to be purchased.

Not too bad, not sure how that compares with the other Grand Slams.

Was at US open in 2010 and I payed 80 dollars for a whole day which included all courts, no night session though. Roland Garros was a bit more expensive

Ah okay, so it seems a bit more expensive compared to the aus open then.

Although I haven't been to any other grand slams the overall atmosphere is amazing, even non-tennis fans would enjoy it.

So, the most popular question I’ve seen so far is; Are you going for both Costa AND Aguero in the January wildcard or just selecting one of the two.

I’ve put a quick poll together, much like the captain poll everyone is familiar with. It should give a visual representation on what the masses are doing. (Providing anyone uses it :D… and if it works)

Thought that is was due to him being injured, but I might be wrong. He played almost 90 minutes every game during the start of the season.

Nope. He was fit. Even if he start, he's tend to get subbed off at 60-70mins

RMWCT then fellas, if you will.

    Panti
    Terry, Bellerin, PVA
    Sanchez, Hazard, ADM, Santi
    Costa, Kane, MUN striker (tbc)

    Krul, Baird, Dummett, Albrighton

GW24: Funds in the bank for MUN Striker -> Aguero

MUN stiker's fixtures are good even after GW24 and Aguero might rise rapidly

Get Aguero instead of Costa and ADM to Oscar/Fab?

    Suggestions on this W.C team

    Ospina Myhill
    Terry P.Jones Gardos Bellerin Baird
    fabregas Sanchez Dimaria Ellia Lucas
    Aguero Costa Gayle.
Gardos to Toby when he returns!

We will get a clear idea about ospina and Bellerin situation before next pl match I guess. Taking a punt on dimaria with easy home fixtures, he might still be a differential. My only worry is absence of .hazard but going with terry fabregas costa trio

Is now the time to jump off Harry Kane? Watching the game last night, he didn’t offer much. Neither did he in his last game at home to Sunderland.

Adebayor is back (capt last night!) and they are still involved in 3 cups, so possible rotation on the horizon? Also, if he makes League Cup final, he would miss GW27, so is now the tiem to get rid if on the WC and then think about getting back for the DGW?

Their next 6 fixtures aren’t great either

    WBA A
    ARS H
    LIV A
    WHU H
    QPR A
    SWA H

I’m tempted by a punt on Bojan. He appears to be on pens and has the following in the next 6

    QPR H
    NEW A
    MCI H
    AVL A
    HUL H
    EVE H

The thing that worries me is Kane’s high ownership. If he starts to pick up again, it could be damaging to the overall rank.

        Kane 90 90 90 90 90 90 83 83 90 90 90
        Bojan 83 90 90 90 86 54 90 66 77 Inj 72 90

      Kane is incredible value

        11 years, 1 month ago

As long as you don't expect too much he's brilliant value at 5.8 let alone 4.8. I wouldn't lose him if I had that much embedded value in him either.

But people shouldn't get carried away. He's not captain material. Just someone to stick in your team and forget about.

Very tricky player to sell right now. He's played up top all season and we ought to assume he will again. If he's still knocking about 40 yards from goal for the next 2, it might be time to pull the plug.
He is good value as a striker. He is worthless feeding Soldado or Adebayor.

I just worry about Falcao game time as LVG doesn't seem to know his best 11 or formation at the moment. I had him earlier in the season and I got rid as he was never getting more than a goal or assist max. Pains me to say it as I'm a Utd fan

I feel with the fixtures coming up he has to start Falcao as LVG openly said Falcao needs to prove himself

He has scored or assisted almost every time he has started

I am assuming I will be buying both Di Maria and Puncheon in my wildcard team (next week). So for this one Gameweek, who should I buy? Puncheon's price is likely to rise 0.1, but Man Utd are at home to Leicester this week.

Will that 0.1 be worth the difference between their scores this week?

It's frustrating; I've had my eye on Baird since he broke back into the first team, and Puncheon only just recently, but gonna leave both until wildcard time and lose out on 0.2 on the pair. It tempts me into using it now, but I must resist! So much can happen in the last week of January!
