Granville and I raise out bats to the grandstand as the 150 comes up for the ScoutCast. Fittingly, we choose to spend the milestone episode moaning about Diego Costa, for very different reasons.

Chelsea’s “agro magnet” dominates discussion on the eve of an expected three-match ban that will end my love affair with the grizzled goal-getter. Meanwhile, Granville is left smarting from Costa’s 16-point Gameweek 22 haul as he does his best to make light of the 59-point chasm that now separates our teams.

Elsewhere, we glide through the ScoutCast regulars, whilst taking time out to lament Kevin Mirallas and his latest bout of Baines-bullying that robbed us both of belated returns.

      Could really throw another spanner in the works if reasonably priced.

      Will be on corners from the left and FKs from the right as well
      Cesc as an FPL option is no longer as attractive imo.

            😆 he's the direct replacement for Schurlle who is being sold for the exact same price. Considering he's capable of replacing Willian which Schrulle doesn't, he's a bargain. Duh. We haven't done a Manu if that's what you were thinking.

                Cuadrado costs £23m + add-ons. Schurlle is being sold for a min. of £23m, which was a bid rejected by Chelsea as they are asking for £27m.

    Maybe just overthinking it, or maybe just a rookie but I'm not sure I understand all the hype about the Spurs having a blank on GW27 followed by a double GW28.

    What's the difference if you pick up the points for that particular QPR vs Spurs matchup on GW27 vs a double GW28? Where is the advantage?

    On the double GW28, do they combine the points for a particular player (say Eriksen/Kane) for both matchups, making them ideal as a captaincy option?

    Would also appreciate some feedback or opinions on which WC team is best going forward?

      On the double GW28, do they combine the points for a particular player (say Eriksen/Kane) for both matchups, making them ideal as a captaincy option? Yes! Double shot at captaincy.
      Like last year, Yaya scored 31pts in DGW, means 62pts as captain which is huuuuuuuge! 😀

        Yep, I had Yaya VC that week but it was OK as Suarez (C) got 25x2, so 81 points total from 2 players.

    Any chance the Chelsea DGW will be GW25? if it's after GW 28 i may just get 2 spurs and 1 Chelsea now(Hazard, Kane, Eriksen) instead of 2 chelsea(terry) to make sure i have a starting 11 GW 27 and good players for the double

    I think the best advice I have ever received from this site was when I said that I only ever poo at work or in public places to save money on toilet roll . Someone advised me just to steal toilet roll from work so I could relieve myself in my own home. That is the kind of advice you can live upon.

    Slowly going off Adm and preferring Sterling instead.. Got WHM(song/collins/tompkins/jenks all doubts) and eve/TOT both of which are known for their goals + Sturridge returning.
    Cheaper by a million too and more likely i'd want him for the long term

        just checked their stats.. pretty similar(shots in box + chances created) with Sterling being way ahead on touches in the box.. Sterling seems less risky 🙂

    What makes everyone think Sturridge will get Sterling back in the goals?

    Sturridge is known for wanting to score the goals himself. Sturridge is no playmaker/assister. So maby some more assists for Sterling if Sturridge hits form.

    But for that price, and his history with only 1 league goal the last 17 matches, would wait and monitor before getting Sterling.

      Sterling and Coutinho have been immense but their finishing has been poor.. As you said the number of assists will increase by a lot.. and as of now Sterling is getting marked out of most games playing alone upfront. Sturridge will take some defenders with him allowing Sterling to get more space(check highlights of the first 3 games of the season)

    If Liverpool had better fixtures i'd be going Moreno for sure... infact i may still go for him. Has been beastly of late.. Attacking points are just around the corner. Playing oop and their best(and arguably only) crosser of the ball @just 5.0
